ZShield is a transparent face shield that's been created as an alternative to traditional fabric face masks and face shields. Unlike traditional face shields that users attach at the forehead, this one attaches at the neck and opens at the top of the head, as opposed to the bottom. You can get one of these face shields on its own, or in a set of two, and it's specified that each shield is lightweight, washable, and reusable.
The cost of ZShield is $22.99 plus $6.99 shipping for a total price of $29.98.

To start wearing your ZShield, place the transparent plastic part in front of your face and then attach the black neck mount to your neck, as if it's a plastic necklace. The neck mount is fairly flexible in nature, so it'll fit necks of various sizes without making the person who's wearing it feel as if they're being choked.
Once your shield's neck mount is resting securely around your neck, you can go out in public and wear the face shield anywhere where face coverings are required or recommended. Regardless of whether you're at a store, riding public transit, or walking down a packed street, it'll create a barrier between your potentially germ-filled respiratory droplets and other people. It'll also protect your face from the respiratory droplets of others.
When you arrive home, you should remove your face shield by gently pulling on the front of the black neck mount, and wash it with soap and water. Once you've washed it, you can wipe it dry and leave it in a safe, clean place until you need to wear it again.
The majority of each ZShield is made of transparent plastic, so that means that other people will be able to see your face and all your facial expressions as you wear one. On the other hand, with a fabric face mask, your smile (or frown) would always be covered up. Each shield is also lightweight, so it shouldn't feel like a bulky weight that's been added to your face as you go about your daily business.
When you're wearing this face shield, you can tilt the front of the neck mount so that the shield will pivot downward and away from your face. As a result, you'll be able to eat or drink comfortably without having to reach under the shield or remove it completely. If you feel the need to, you'll be able to quickly tilt the shield upward again and provide yourself with full protection from the germs in your environment.
These face shields come in sets of two, for those who think obtaining just a single one won't be enough. You may want to share a set with a significant other, family member, or friend, or get a second one for yourself so you don't have to wash the same one each day.
ZShields have been designed and made in the United States, so you can use them with the knowledge that certain safety standards related to labor and materials have been followed throughout the manufacturing process.
Many face shields open at the bottom, but some people criticize these since respiratory droplets can escape fairly easily. That won't be the case when you wear a ZShield, though, as each one has a conical shape and opens at the top. When you exhale, cough, sneeze, or spit, this shape will cause droplets to migrate toward the top, and once they're expelled there, they'll be less likely to land on others. They'll also be less likely to land on stationary surfaces in a public space.
It's often difficult for hearing-impaired people to communicate with others who are wearing fabric face masks since they lose the ability to lip-read. If the public at large were to adopt wearing shields like the ZShield, hearing-impaired citizens would be able to clearly see others' lips through this type of device.
People who have asthma or another respiratory disorder may appreciate the ZShield since it won't affect their breathing abilities like a cloth face mask can. Unlike the fabric that makes up a mask, this shield's plastic will sit far enough away from the face that air will be able to pass freely in and out of the mouth and nose. Consequently, this shield can also be a good choice if you want to wear facial protection for a physical job or an athletic activity.
Some face shields that open at the bottom are so tight at the top that people have difficulty fitting their glasses or sunglasses underneath the shield. However, since this particular face shield opens at the top and is roomy around the eyes, it'll accommodate virtually any pair of glasses or sunglasses. If it happens to fog up your eyewear, you can simply tilt it down for a few seconds and wipe off the fog.
Like other face shields, the ZShield is larger than a fabric face mask, so you won't be able to carry one in a small purse or pocket, or store one in your vehicle's glove compartment. If having an extremely compact face covering is a high priority for you, and you don't find it difficult to wear a mask, you may find that a mask is a better choice.
In some regions, businesses are asking children as young as three years old to wear face coverings, but the ZShield may not suit all children. While the neck mount will adjust to fit the necks of the majority of adults and school-aged children, it may be too large for a toddler. You could try putting one of these shields on a toddler anyway, but if the neck mount is way too loose, it might fall off. It would be beneficial if a smaller version of this shield, designed specifically for young children, could be made available.
If you're looking for a high level of protection from the Coronavirus and other germs in public spaces, you may want to wear a face mask and a ZShield together. To effectively do so, put the face mask on as you normally would, and then add the shield on top. If you want to remove your protective equipment to eat, or for any other reason, you'll still be able to tilt the shield down and then pull the mask down temporarily.
Those people who use disposable masks might end up obtaining a new package every two or three weeks, and even reusable cloth masks can pick up holes or tears and need to be replaced. On the other hand, a ZShield made of sturdy plastic will last you much longer than a box of disposable masks and can probably outlive a reusable cloth mask, too. You may get a few months of use out of a reusable mask, while one of these shields may last for years.

Easy to adjust and comfortable. Allows wearing glasses and hearing aids. Feel it protects other people and protects my face and eyes. Walking in cool weather, only see fog inside, right in front of my breathing area. And, I can sing wearing the ZShield.

I ordered the Z-shield and have found it fogs up the mask outside and inside of a building. I called about returning the shield but they said since it was worn, I could not get a refund. How else are you going to know if it works? I feel this is policy is incorrect and a refund of $31.36 should be made to me by the Company.
