Positive Points

  • User-Friendly

The track is made out of closed tubes, so it's easy for smaller kids to use without having to worry about the cars flying off the track. This is especially useful when the track is making loops or going around curves.

  • Easy to Connect and Disconnect

The tubes are easy to connect together, needing only a push and twist to secure. They're also just as easy to disconnect from each other and reposition to make a whole new track.

  • Can Be Used Anywhere Indoors

One of the most beneficial features about Zoom Tubes is that they can be used anywhere. As seen in the infomercial, tracks can be looped around stair rails, over and under furniture, and even from one floor to another.

  • Can Be Used Outdoors

Zoom Tubes can even be enjoyed outdoors as long as they're placed on a clean surface free of debris.

  • Additional Cars Make it More Fun

You can purchase two RC Car Trax sets and use both cars in the same race track. Another option is to set up two different tracks side by side and race the cars to see which track is faster.

  • Limitless Possibilities

Since the tubes can be continually connected and disconnected, there are limitless possibilities to the shape and design of the tracks that you can make. The more tube pieces you have, the more creative you can be!

  • Free Special Gift

For a limited time, you can receive a bonus free rechargeable USB if you purchase the Car Trax set on the official website.

Negative Points

  • Not Enough Tubes

The starter set only comes with twelve feet of tubes which is not enough to get creative and make a wide variety of configurations. It's necessary to purchase additional expansion packs to really enjoy the product.

  • Misleading Advertisement Video

The promotional video created for Zoom Tubes gives the appearance that one set will allow you to make a wide variety of track designs; however, that just won't be possible without purchasing many additional expansion packs. The video does mention that multiple sets were used, but it does not state how many extra packs would be needed to create setups similar to the ones that were shown.

  • Only Two Colors Available

The cars only comes in the color blue or orange, so if girls want to enjoy Zoom Tubes they can't customize it to a more feminine set with the color pink or purple. It would be even better if the light up car would change colors also.

  • Cars Not Interchangeable

Due to the size and layout of the tubes, it is not recommended that they are used with any other brands of cars. Vehicles or objects that are not remote controlled will not be able to travel through the tubes.

How it's Different from Competitors

Zoom Tubes are different from the other race car tracks because they are much easier to put together and unlike popular brands like Hot Wheels, the cars cannot fall off the tracks. Standard RC car tracks are linear. With the Zoom Tubes being actual tubes, it allows for tracks to be built in ways which were traditionally not possible, such as 90 degree vertical climbs.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Charge the Race Car

Make sure the race car is fully charged and batteries are in the remote control. To charge the race car, connect the USB cable to your computer and refer to the instructions included to know how long the car needs to be charged before the first use.

  2. Connect the Zoom Tubes

You can refer to the track building guide for your first time configuring the Zoom Tubes to give you an idea of what types of setups can be created. Make sure all pieces are connected securely by twisting them together, and that the door is in a location that is easy to access.

  3. Enjoy and Reconfigure

You are now ready to place the car in the tubes and enjoy the track that you've completed! Feel free to disconnect and reconnect any pieces as desired so that you can come up with unique designs.

  • Batteries Not Included

Two AA batteries for the remote control are needed and are not included with the set.

  • See-Thru Zoom Tubes

All tubes are transparent which makes them even more enjoyable. You will be able to see where your car is at every point on the track.

  • Light Up Car

The remote control car included lights up so that you can have even more fun with your Zoom Tubes in the dark and at night!

  • Track Building Guide

A downloadable track building guide was created for the RC Car Trax set that gives instructions on how to design eight different race tracks with the tubes included. It also shows ten more designs that can be made with the RC Car Trax set and additional tubes from the Tubular Expansion Trax kit.

The track building guide is conveniently located on the official website at: https://zoomtubes.ca/downloadmanual.

  • 30-Day Money Back Guarantee

Zoom Tubes come with a standard return policy, less postage and handling.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Keep Tubes and Car Clean

Ensure that both the tubes and car are kept clean for smooth driving. Any debris caught in the tires can slow or stop the car from moving.

  2. Use Correct Frequency

To avoid problems with your car not driving, make sure you have the remote set to the correct channel frequency (A). If the car is still not moving, try switching the channel from A to B or vice versa. Additional cars should be on channel B frequency.

  3. Keep Remote Close to Race Car

Make sure to keep the remote within ten feet of the race car so that it does not lose signal. It is also important to avoid any furniture or other items that could block the signal from the remote to the race car.

  4. Fixing a Stuck Car

If your car gets stuck in between the tubes, try to give the tubes a light shake to dislodge the car and get it running again. If this doesn't work, you can easily disconnect the tube to remove the car from the track.

  5. Save Battery Power

After each use, remember to turn the remote control and race car to the off position so you don't waste the battery and are able to enjoy them the next time.

How to Change Frequency

If you have two cars, you will need to set them to different frequencies. Here is how I got that to work: - set the channel on the second car's remote to "B" - turn the second car's remote on - while holding the second car next to its remote, turn the car on To make extra sure the settings are correct, do all this more than 10 feet away from the first car. Hope this helps!

Thank you! I never would have figured this out my son is thrilled!

How do you change frequency on cars? The remotes have an a and b on them but the cars don’t have an a and b. This enables users to run two different cars at the same time. One controller runs both cars. Kids are disappointed. 😝.

Can’t Change car Frequency!

My kids received Zoom tubes as a gift, including a second car. The instructions say to change channel frequency for use with a second car—however, there is no where on the vehicle that we can see to change the channel to B to correspond with the remote! If we can’t figure this out we may be returning this product. What a disappointment.

To make the car sync with the remote: - set the remote to the desired channel - turn the remote on - hold the car close to the remote and turn the car on Make sure the car and remotes set to the other channel are more than 10 feet away. Hope this helps!
