How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Add Water and Salt

To get started with creating your electrolyzed water solution, open up your Zero Germ Pure and fill its inner canister about halfway, with tap water. Following that, add either one, two, or three tablespoons of table salt to the canister. If you're going to be using the device to sanitize edible objects, you should stick to one tablespoon of salt, but two or three will create a stronger cleaning solution.

  2. Press Power Button

Next, press the power button on the front of the device. This will activate the indium and titanium electrodes inside the device's canister (at the bottom), which will release electricity to prompt a safe chemical reaction between the salt and the water. Leave the device on for at least three minutes, in order to complete this process.

  3. Use Spray Solution

After at least three minutes have passed, you'll be able to turn your device off and simply use it as a spray bottle of disinfectant. Regardless of whether you release one of its misty sprays onto an inanimate surface or into the air, it's been designed to kill 99.9 percent of the germs and viral matter there.

Features

  • Compact

Each Zero Germ Pure device is compact, which means you'll be able to sit yours on a table, a countertop, or your bathroom vanity without it taking up all the free space. Along the same lines, the vast majority of users will be able to carry the device around in one hand, while using it as a spray bottle of sanitizer.

  • Deodorizes

Aside from sanitizing a wide variety of surfaces and the air, the solution within this device will also act as a deodorizer. Therefore, even if there aren't many germs around your home, it'll be able to get rid of unpleasant smells for you. This may come in especially handy in your bathroom(s) or areas in which your pets often hang out.

  • Odorless

Along with neutralizing unpleasant odors in your environment, the Zero Germ Pure solution won't add any unpleasant odors itself. Many sanitizing solutions smell like chemicals or some super-strong citrus or floral fragrance that's been added to overpower them, but that's not the case with this particular solution. Since it's only made of salt and water, you likely won't be able to smell it at all, unless you stick your nose directly into your spray bottle's canister.

  • Non-Toxic Solution

Neither water nor salt is toxic, even when electrolyzed, and this solution doesn't contain any additional ingredients, so it's 100 percent non-toxic. That means it won't harm humans or pets if it's accidentally ingested, and it doesn't contain any chemicals that can eat away at surfaces made of delicate materials, either.

  • USB Charging

The Zero Germ Pure device is rechargeable, which means you'll never have to plug it into electricity when you want to use it. Instead, you'll need to keep it charged by plugging the included cable into the back of the device and a USB port on a regular basis. Even if it's not completely empty of liquid at a certain time, it can still be charged.

Positive Points

  • Safe for Use on Edible Items

It's typically unsafe to use chemical sprays on edible items, such as fruits and veggies, but it's perfectly safe to use your Zero Germ Pure solution on these. That means you'll be able to spray various foods with the solution, thereby killing harmful types of bacteria such as salmonella, before you eat them. You should use the sanitizing spray minimally on foods, though, or else your food might end up tasting like salt.

  • Can Help Prevent Sickness

Colds, flu viruses, and other viruses (such as the Coronavirus) are often passed around due to different people frequently touching the same surfaces. However, if you clean commonly touched surfaces in the home—such as door handles, kitchen appliances, and bathroom fixtures—with Zero Germ Pure, you'll reduce the chances of anyone in your household getting sick. Contrarily, almost all the germs and bacteria on these surfaces will disappear before many people can put their hands on it.

  • Useful in Offices

Most people might choose to use their Zero Germ Pure device at home, but it can also be useful in the workplace. If you and your coworkers often share computers or other tools, it may be a good idea to sanitize these items with this solution before they move along to the next person. Those people in public-facing positions can sanitize their desks after speaking with people who aren't normally in the building, too. As with food, however, use this solution minimally when it comes to digital devices, or else the salt and water could get inside and damage them.

Negative Points

  • Requires Lots of Salt

If you normally don't keep a great deal of table salt on hand, you may notice that you'll have to obtain a lot more of the substance once you start using Zero Germ Pure. Unfortunately, if you don't add salt to the water inside this device, it won't actually be able to create a strong sanitizing solution. The water on its own won't disinfect things any more effectively than ordinary water in a plastic spray bottle.

  • USB Port Needed

The only way to charge this device for use is to plug it into a USB port. Consequently, if you don't have access to one when its charge runs out, you won't be able to recharge it and use it properly. Most people do have a computer with a USB port these days, but there are still some people out there who don't, and they may be better off with a different cleaning solution.

Critical Advice

If you want to sanitize the floor in a particular room, but you don't want to get it overly wet as you do so, deliver several sprays of this solution to it. After that, use a fairly dry mop to rub the solution around. For an optimum level of protection, you can even deliver a few sprays of the solution to the mop's head before you begin using it. That way, you'll remove the risk of just transferring germs around your floor instead of truly disinfecting it.
