Rate this product

The Wubble Bubble Ball is a great new toy that just about anyone will love. Kids of all ages will have fun for hours and the ball will not pop or deflate. Take it outside or play with indoors and see how much fun it can be. Easy to inflate, using the portable pump takes just minutes. When it's time for it to be put away, simply use the deflater and you're all done. Let your children experience all that the Wubble Bubble Ball has to offer, and enjoy watching them play outside once more. Dirty after it's been played with? Simply deflate and wash under the tap.

The Claim

It looks and moves like a bubble, but it doesn't pop like one. Can be sat on, thrown up in the air and bounced all around, and it still won't pop. The Wubble Bubble Ball takes just two minutes to become its full size, which is an incredible 3 feet. Kick, squeeze and throw it, it will be just fine and won't burst at all. This product can be played with outside, inside, against a wall or even on the ground. When contact is made with the Wubble Bubble Ball a wobbly sound is heard, and it adds to the fun.

Total Cost Breakdown

The cost of Wubble Bubble Ball is $19.99 plus $8.99 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Wubble Bubble Ball by paying the extra shipping fee of $8.99 for a total price of $37.97. Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page: gowubble.com

How It Works

A Wubble Bubble Ball is a round, inflatable toy that looks like a bubble, but can be played with like a ball. It bounces, it’s squeezable, and it can be inflated until it becomes up to three feet tall. The magic behind this ball is the fact that it’s made with super-stretchy plastic that its producers refer to as “super-thermo” and “stretch-tacular. Its plastic contains safe oils that enable it to stay stretchy and strong, even after you play with it for hours. Each ball comes with a pump for inflation and a deflator, so it can be easily deflated and stored after each use.

Uses

  1. Games With Friends
  2. The Wubble Bubble Ball can be used to play an unconventional game of soccer, volleyball or catch with a group. You can do this in the pool, on a beach, in the yard, or even indoors.

  3. Individual Play
  4. Even if you’ve got no friends or family members to play with at the moment, you can still use the ball. Just bounce it against the wall or on the ground ( even on pavement ), and it’ll bounce right back to you.

  5. Seat
  6. Whether you’re on the beach, in your yard, or chilling out in your bedroom, the Wubble Bubble Ball makes a great seat. However, you should not stand on it or bounce on it as you may break it or injure yourself.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Inflate It
  2. Inflate your ball using the included portable pump, as per the included instruction manual. Do not blow it up to more than three feet tall, as it may burst.

  3. Get Playing
  4. Take your Wubble Bubble Ball outside for a game or bounce it around indoors. It can stay outside for one or two days at a time, but don’t leave it out any longer than this, as the sun’s rays could damage it. Remove it from a pool or any other water when you’re not using it, since it will become discolored if it sits in water for too long of a time.

  5. Wash If Needed
  6. If your ball gets dirty due to play, you can wash it with cold water and an itsy-bitsy squirt of regular hand soap. Do not wash it with dish soap or any other cleaners, as this might damage the surface.

  7. Deflate
  8. When you’re done playing with your ball, deflate it using the included deflator. Store it in a plastic bag in case any oils leak from it.

Positive Points

  • Lightweight
  • Even though each Wubble Bubble Ball has been made with nearly a pound of plastic, they feel light like air when you play with them. Therefore, even users who aren’t very strong can play with them for hours without getting tired.

Negative Points

  • Batteries Not Included
  • Each ball requires four D batteries for use, but these need to be purchased separately.

Warnings

  • Not For Toddlers
  • The Wubble Bubble Ball has been deemed unsafe for children under three years old.

  • Don’t Puncture
  • The ball can withstand a lot of play without popping, but it certainly will pop if poked with a sharp object or subjected to an animal’s sharp claws. Make sure you keep it away from your four-legged friends.

  • Not A Pfd
  • Although the ball will float when in water, it is not a Personal Floatation Device. It is unlikely to save you if you’re at risk of drowning.

Excellent Toy!

I purchased my Daughter's Wubble Bubble Ball yesterday. I made sure to read all of the information on the website, the website faq and included instructions.

My Daughter is four and a half years old and she's really tall thanks to me. I took this into consideration when inflating hers. I inflated to a diameter of about a little of two feet wide. She bounces it, lays on it, kicks it, everything you see in the video ad for it. It has not broken after hours of play in the back yard and in the house.

If you have strong lungs and can blow up a balloon, you can inflate the Wubble Bubble Ball using the little wand attachment especially if you don't make it more than a little over two feet in diameter. If not, make sure you pick up four "d" size batteries for the inflater pump.

This is a great toy and if for some reason it does pop on her, I will gladly get her a new one and / or send in the replacement guarantee.

I only wish I had a fun toy like this when I was a kid!

Highly Recommended!

No Good

I've been ripped off! First I bought the ball. Then I ordered a new ball and they took two payments which withdrew. I received nothing in return and this has been since Feb. Don't buy it, it's a rip off.

Pump Not Strong Enough

My son got a Wubble Bubble for his birthday. Same issue with another reviewer: the pump wasn't strong enough to inflate the ball past 12" diameter. Incredibly frustrating and not made the purchase worthless.

Won't Inflate Fully

The pump that came with our ball does not have the pressure to fill the ball bigger than 12". We tried new batteries and there is still not enough pressure to fill it. Very frustrating.

Pops Easily!

Total waste of money. Very stretchy but very thin also. Popped the first day while being played qith by a 4 yr old girl. A friend told me the same day that also had the same experience. Returned and bought a different toy.

Waste of Money

We purchased two, and we read the instructions and followed them to inflate it. It slowly loses air and deflates within an hour or so.

Won't Inflate!

Won't inflate because the wubble hole is like a belly button: it's a hole to the outside, but you can't get anything / air inside the wubble because there's not a hole to the interior of the wubble! We have stretched out the wubble hole / passage to confirm this. Not going to pay that company any more $. Shame on toys are us for selling a consistently poor product. It has received poor reviews for several years now. Sigh. What a waste.
