How It Works

Each pan and the lid of each contain stainless steel induction plates that enable them to cook nearly any type of food quickly and evenly, without leaving any spots extremely hot or cold. When it's not being used as a lid, each pan's lid will actually make a great shallow cooker or grilling pan that you can use for side dishes. Alternatively, you can place the lid on top of your pan in order to turn the pan into a dutch oven. You can also place it upside-down on the pan so you can roast food within it and braise food within the pan at the same time. Regardless of how each piece is set up, and whether you cook food on your stovetop, in your oven or even on your barbecue, heat will always circulate evenly.

Features

  • Non-Stick Surface

The inside of each pan has a CeramiTech (non-stick ceramic) surface, so you'll never need to use oil, cooking sprays or any other lubricants when cooking with it. Even stubborn foods like melted cheese and anything that's burnt on will slide right off of it when you're serving a dish, or if you choose to wash your pan by hand.

  • Deep

Each Copper Chef Wonder Cooker is deeper than it is wide, which means that you won't have difficulty fitting it onto any standard-sized stovetop or getting it into any standard-sized oven. It also won't take up as much room on a cupboard's shelf as a wider pan would.

  • Heat Resistant

This pan is heat resistant at temperatures up to 850 degrees Fahrenheit, meaning that there won't be a risk of it starting to burn unless you set your oven's temperature higher than that. Since you can cook most food dishes at a temperature much lower than 850 degrees, you'll still have tons of cooking options while you're using this pan.

  • Free of PFOA, PTFE

The Copper Chef Wonder Cooker is free of the potentially harmful chemical compounds PFOA and PTFE that are still found in some cookware pieces. As a result, you can rest assured that you're not exposing yourself or the people you cook for to toxicity when you make use of this particular pan.

  • Dishwasher Safe

Each of these pans is dishwasher safe, so if you've got a dishwasher, you'll never have to scrub one off by hand. However, if you do have to wash your pan by hand, excessive scrubbing won't be required, due to each pan's non-stick nature (but make sure you use a soft, non-metallic scrubbing device).

  • Recipe Book Included

With each pan, you'll receive a recipe book full of more than 120 recipes specifically designed to be cooked with this pan. If you're not sure what to cook first, or you're not sure how to cook something effectively, this will be a great resource for you.

Positive Points

  • Works With Various Stoves

This cooking pan is compatible with gas, electric, ceramic and induction stovetops, plus ovens and barbecues, too. That means you'll be able to use yours in a variety of locations, no matter what type of cooking appliances are present. Plus, if you don't want to use your large pan outdoors on a barbecue, you can simply use your pan's lid as a smaller grilling pan on that cooking surface.

  • Helps Save You Space

Around your home, you probably have a bunch of small to medium-sized pots and pans that you use to cook various types of food, such as eggs and meat. After you obtain a Copper Chef Wonder Cooker, though, you may be able to pass those along to others in order to save yourself space. The Wonder Cooker will cook and bake such a wide variety of things that you may never need another cooking pan again. You'll also be able to use it as a serving pan, thereby eliminating the need to dirty another large dish.

  • Can Cook For Large Group

Small or medium-sized pans may not be able to hold enough food to feed a large family or group of friends at once. Consequently, if you're cooking for a large group, you might find yourself using (and cleaning) multiple pans. This will probably be a thing of the past once you've got a Copper Chef Wonder Cooker, however, as one of these pans will hold enough food to feed a fairly large group.

  • Deluxe Versions Available

If you have to cook for an incredibly large group, and you think your nine and a half quart pan may not be big enough, there is a larger 12.5-quart version available. You'll also have the option of obtaining a 12.5-quart set, which means that two smaller copper pans and two copper knives will be included with your large pan. The larger pans work just like the standard one, with the only difference being that they're bigger, and they come with recipe books.

Negative Points

  • Handles Don't Stay Cool

Some contemporary pots and pans have handles that stay cool to the touch, but every part of the Copper Chef Wonder Cooker will get hot while something cooks inside it. You must remember to use potholders or oven mitts when you're pulling it out of your oven or off your stovetop, or while you're removing the lid. Otherwise, you may get burned. If you've got children under your care, you'll have to make sure they don't touch the pan with their bare hands while it's hot, either.

Critical Advice

Even though none of these cooking pans contain harmful chemicals, users are cautioned that for the best results possible, they should wash their pan with non-abrasive soap before using it for the first time.

Warnings

  • Don't Use Metal Utensils

It's best to avoid using metal utensils within your Copper Chef Wonder Cooker, and stick to utensils made of plastic, bamboo, rubber or wood instead. While you shouldn't expect the pan's non-stick coating to flake off on contact, if you were to scrape it hard enough with a metal utensil, it could.

  • Don't Put Other Dishes Inside

Along the same lines, do not store other dishes inside this pan while it's not being used. While it may be tempting to do so because of the pan's large size, other dishes could end up damaging its coating. If you've got nowhere else to put the other dishes aside from putting them inside this pan, you must lay down a soft cloth inside the pan first.
