Water Wubble

Rate this product

Water Wubble balls are refillable, reusable translucent water balloon balls that can be used virtually anywhere outdoors. In each set of balls, you'll get four red and four blue ones, and each ball will withstand hundreds of splashy throws without bursting. You'll be able to fill your balls at a tap or hose or even in a body of water. When you throw them, water will come out, but each ball will stay intact for yet another use.

Total Cost Breakdown

The cost of Water Wubble is $14.99 plus $4.99 shipping, for a total price of $19.98. Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page: waterwubble.com

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Fill up Ball

To begin using your balls, you'll need to fill one at a faucet or garden hose. Alternatively, if there's a pool, lake or any clean body of water nearby, you can dunk it to fill it up in there. You won't need to worry about tying any of the balls yourself, since they're self-sealing.

  2. Toss it

Once you've got at least one full ball, you can begin tossing. Don't worry about hurting a friend or family member by throwing a ball at them, as these balls make only a soft impact when they strike someone. If you don't feel like tossing a particular ball, you may choose to squish it or splat it on the ground instead.

  3. Retrieve and Refill or Store

Regardless of whether you've tossed, splatted or squished any of your balls, they'll still be intact when you're done. All you'll need to do is retrieve the ones you've used and bring them back to your starting point where you can fill them again if you'd like. If you're done for the day, simply store them someplace safe until the next time you feel like playing with them.

How It Works

When you squish, splat or toss a Water Wubble, enough water will come out of the ball to give someone or something a good soaker. However, the ball will not burst on impact as a water balloon normally would, so you'll be able to pick it up in one piece and use it again and again.

Features

  • Self-sealing

Regardless of where you fill your balls, they're all self-sealing, so you won't have to use your fingers to fumble with the plastic in order to create knots.

  • Stretchy

Water Wubble balls are stretchy, so before you throw any ball, you'll be able to do things like bounce it on the ground or pull it back like a slingshot if you want to. While you can fill your balls just a bit to make them small, they'll also stretch enough to accommodate a larger amount of water, too.

  • Two Different Colors

Water balloon play can become boring more quickly than it would otherwise if the balloons are all the same color. Fortunately, these ones come in both blue and red. This will come in handy if you're playing a balloon game that requires two teams, as one team can use one color of balloon and the other team can use the other.

Positive Points

  • Can Use in Variety of Places

Water Wubble balls can be used on grass, on sand, and on pavement. The balls will stay intact even if they hit an incredibly hard, warm surface such as a paved driveway on a hot day. You could use the balls indoors, too, but although they're soft enough not to hurt a person who gets hit by one, one could damage a fragile object.

  • Clean-up is Quick

When you use these balls, you won't need to walk around picking up stray pieces of plastic as is the norm when you play with standard water balloons that burst. Instead, it'll likely take you a couple of minutes or less to pick up all your empty, but still intact balls from your play area.

I Regret Buying it!

Does Not Hold Very Diverse Uses

As an avid wubble bubble fan, I immediately purchased 4 sets of this product. I toyed with the balloons for quite an extensive amount of time. However, I have noticed that the balloon cannot be filled with other types of liquid, say for example straight chlorine. I am a man of simple pleasures. Golfing, running, raining death from above on my enemies, and fitniss. But I have noticed that the chlroine sort of makes the aoutamaitc seal ineffective. So get workin on that.

Why would you want or need to fill it with straight chlorine? I surely wouldn't want my kids filling these with anything but water as advertised.

I Regret Buying it!

Water Wubble Water Balloon :(

Do not waste your time buying from that company. When I ordered it was not made known that this was a pre order and they would never give an estimated shipping date after the purchase. I e-mailed several times to cancel my order and they claimed they did when I finally heard back from them. However, my card was billed and they were still shipped out over a month later. They were originally ordered for a gift and were not going to arrive in time, so I wanted to cancel since I had purchased another gift. Now I am stuck with them and the bill that I do not want. You can also not post complaints, check the status of your order, or check the shipping on their site. Horrible service.

Not worth the Money

I was very dissatisfied with this product. My son was so excited for it but once we got them and put water in them oNE ripped the first time we thew it and the others wouldn't even pop the water out until they bounced off the person and then hit the ground. Not worth the money my 7 year old doesn't enjoy them at all.

Disappointed Kids, They Feel Ripped Off

My son bought the Water Wubble set with his allowance savings after seeing ads on TV. He took the first one outside, and in under five minutes it burst. He didn't overfill it or anything. He tried again, and within a few minutes the second one burst. He is so disappointed and feels like the product does not perform as advertised. Save your kids the money and steer them toward something else. : (.

I have something to say!

TERRIBLE and OFFENSIVE DESIGN

I bought the Water Wubble for my 3 year old son. Within 3 minutes of opening the package and filling 2 ( awkwardly designed ) balloons they both had holes in them. I can look beyond the holes because I called customer service and the rep offered to send replacements for the 2 that were defective. Cool. Thanks.
However, I can not look beyond the design. It looks like a pocket p*$¥! A male sex toy. Or if you want to speak literally. Like the female anatomy. This not okay! I am not one to be offended by everything. Hell, i'm not offended, so to speak, but this is not appropriate as a child's toy design! I will be speaking of this to everyone and anyone against this design. If you want to sell duck things do it in an adult store. This is not appropriate for children. 3 or 4, or younger won't know, but most kids playing with these are going to bw older and it is mist definately unacceptable!

They Look Fun!

These look really fun if they work properly! Our family has spent quite a bit on the quick fill water balloons for water fights, the downside to those are the cleanup and transporting buckets of them once filled can be very heavy. I would love to try some of these but considering our experience with the wubble bubble balls I think we will wait for more reviews. I haven't found many online yet.

I Didn't Buy it But

To the guy who said it can't hold cholrine- it isn't meant to hold chlorine, it is just meant to hold water.
