All tubes are a variety of bright neon colors and glow in the dark. This makes playing with them enjoyable during the day and at night.
The unique tumble vehicle is equipped with two built-in black lights that leave glow traces on the track where it has driven through. It is also powered by a long-lasting rechargeable lithium-ion battery that will give you many hours of fun! The battery is easily recharged between uses using the included USB cable.
Twister Tubes comes with a 30-day money back guarantee against any manufacturer defects.
Twister Tubes are made out of closed, flexible tubes, so kids can easily use it without worrying about their vehicle driving off a track. They're also easy to place around furniture, staircases, and various areas throughout the house and outdoors due to the flexibility of the tubes.
The flexible tube connectors can be easily grouped by pushing them together and twisting them counter clockwise. They are just as easily disconnected by twisting them in the opposite direction (clockwise). This makes repositioning and changing the color scheme much easier by connecting and disconnecting in larger groups of tube connectors, rather than one by one.
The versatility of the Twister Tubes allows them to be assembled anywhere; indoors or outdoors. As long as the area is clean and free of debris, you can enjoy them throughout the house, upstairs to downstairs, and even outside on the patio!
With the ability to continuously disconnect and reconnect the connectors, you can change the design of the colors as many times as you want. You can make the tubes appear striped with different colors and patterns or use blocks of colors together.
To ensure your tumble vehicle charges properly, make sure the power is turned off while the USB cable is plugged in.
Multiple sets can be purchased to make a longer, more creative track, and the additional tumble vehicle(s) can drive in the Twister Tubes at the same time. Seeing multiple lights traveling through the tubes would be a lot more fun for kids!
Ensure the tumble vehicle is fully charged before use. To charge it, connect the USB cable to your computer or a USB adapter and refer to the instructions included to know how long it needs to be charged before the first use.
While your tumble vehicle is charging, you can connect the Twister Tubes connectors and group them (if desired). Make sure all connectors are secure and locked into place by lining up the tabs and clicking the pieces onto each other. Create groups of connectors by pushing them together and twisting counter clockwise. Finally, connect the entry tube to an area that is convenient and easy to access.
Once the tumble vehicle is fully charged, you are now ready to enjoy your creation! Ensure you have the tumble vehicle turned off before placing it into the entry tube. When ready, turn the vehicle on, and then gently push the top wheel down and guide the tumble vehicle into the next tube. As soon as it has exited the entry tube, you can close it.
When you are ready to reconfigure the connectors or recharge your tumble vehicle, you must use the stopper tab on the entry tube to stop the vehicle from continuing to drive through the tubes. Do not forget to retrieve it and turn off the vehicle when done. Make sure to recharge the battery afterward so it is ready for the next use!
The tumble vehicle is charged with a USB cable, but there is no adapter plug included in the set. You must either connect it to your computer, existing adapter or purchase an adapter separately.
Although the tubes are bright and colorful, they are not see-through. You cannot see the tumble vehicle as it drives through the tubes; you can only see the light that is being emitted from the two built-in black lights. This is going to be a big negative point for most kids as they like to see their cars racing around the tracks and watching them go through the flips and turns that they've created.
It would be better if the Twister Tubes were both colorful and transparent.
Due to the construction of the flexible tubes, you cannot use any other vehicle with this set. The tumble vehicle is made specifically to drive with wheels on the top and bottom of the tubes; regular remote control vehicles won't be able to climb vertically or drive through most configurations (if any).
It would be nice to have a remote control included with the tumble vehicle so that you can change speeds or stop it when needed. Since the vehicle runs on its own, kids will get bored of it quickly because there is less hands-on fun and they are instead just watching the light go around and around the track.
The initial setup of Twister Tubes is a lot of repetition and work for young children. All 218 pieces must be clicked together and grouped (if wanted) before use. Most kids won't have an attention span long enough to go through that many different pieces while they wait to play with their new toy. This adds a lot of work for parents.
Since there is no remote control, the only want to properly stop the tumble vehicle is by using the stopper tab. This is a small plastic tab that sticks out from the entry tube and is pushed down to create a barrier and stop the vehicle from continuing through the tubes. The concern is that the tab doesn't appear to be solid and sticks out very far from the entry tube. This tab can be easily broken off by children while playing, leaving them with no other way to properly stop the tumble vehicle.
Twister Tubes are different from the competition because unlike other popular brands, the track is made of tubes and your vehicle cannot exit or fall off when performing loops and driving around curves. They are also unique with their flexibility, allowing them to be designed in non-traditional ways, and even repositioned while the vehicle is in motion. The glow in the dark tubes with built-in black lights on the tumble vehicle make this set one of a kind.
