Features

  • Many Additional Channels

The manufacturer claims that with this antenna, you can get all of the major broadcast channels, and will be able to see 95 of the 100 top shows on TV for free. You can cancel your cable account completely and simply use TV Freeway Gold.

  • Gold-Plated Connectors

The connectors on the end of the device are gold plated, which is supposed to increase the number of channels you can get when you attach TV Freeway Gold.

  • Easy to Install

This gadget is really easy to install on your television. All you have to do is plug it into one place, and then begins working. There are no complex instructions that you have to follow and you don't have to know anything about technology.

  • 3 Ways to Install it

There are 2 other methods for installing this device besides plugging it into your television. There's a stand that comes with the set which you can use if you prefer. You may also attach it to your window using a suction cup that they provide for you.

  • 30 Day Guarantee

The manufacturer is offering a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with the product, you can contact the company and let them know you want a refund. Then send the product back to them within 30 days of the original purchase date. You'll get all of your money back.

Pros

  • Save Money

If this product works as the manufacturer claims, you can save the cost of your entire cable bill every month. This bill is often quite a bit of money, so this could represent further decent monthly savings. If you get extra movie channels, you could also save on having to pay to order those films.

  • No Cables or Satellite Dish

You get all of these channels without having to have annoying cables in your house that are hard to place. In addition, you don't have to go through the trouble of having a satellite dish installed on your roof. You also won't need a cable box on top of your TV with all of the accompanying wires.

  • Portable

TV Freeway Gold is a very small device, which makes it quite portable. You can take it on vacation with you to use in your hotel room, or over to a friend's house to watch better TV.

  • Expand Your Show Repertoire

Chances are you watch a lot of the same shows, and you add new ones as they come on the channels you have right now. This device expands the number of channels you have, meaning it will also give you a better selection of shows. It allows you to increase the diversity of the shows you watch.

  • Free Shipping

The manufacturer is paying for the shipping and handling costs, and this represents extra savings for you. Shipping can sometimes be costly, and can up the price of your purchase.

Cons

  • It's Just a Small Antenna

The manufacturer is being somewhat deceptive with this product, by making it gold-colored so you presume it's some kind of fancy device. It looks like Chrome Cast or Fire Stick, and this is very misleading. In actual fact, it's only a small antenna and is unlikely to do what they say it does for most users.

  • Won't Get Many Channels

An antenna of this size is not going to get a lot of channels. It certainly won't get the major broadcasting channels or HBO, which is where you would find the top 95 shows on TV. The manufacturer is being deceptive, once again. In addition, the number of channels the device gets on any given day is going to depend on other factors like the weather conditions and location, so there's no way they could make this guarantee.

  • Must Live Near Tower

In order for this device to work at all, you must live within 30 miles of the broadcasting tower. That means this product isn't suitable for everyone, especially people who live in rural areas. The company does not make that clear in their advertising.

  • May Cause Interference

If you choose to attach this item to the back of your TV, you may have a problem with interference from the set. This will disrupt your viewing experience considerably, making the device much less useful than they say it is.

  • Can't Move if It's on the TV

When the device is attached to the TV, you're not able to move the antenna around to adjust it. You would have to move the television itself, which would be very awkward. It's likely that nobody would choose to do that.

  • Double Offer

The manufacturer claims to have a 'double offer' where you supposedly get 2 devices for the price of one. As a matter of fact, if you look at the fine print, you see that you have to pay the same price for the second device. The only thing you get for free is a set of 10 masks if you buy 2 devices. This is just more deception.

Does It Really Work?

Independent reviewers on YouTube have looked at this product and tested it out on film. The results indicate that this device does get some channels, but it certainly does not work as advertised. One review found that the item was able to get 11 extra channels. There's no chance that within 11 more channels you'd get the top 95 shows on television. Some of the channels may even be pixilated. Therefore yes, it does work to some extent, but it certainly doesn't work as promised by the manufacturer.

Save Money

If you are having trouble affording your cable bill and you need to shut it off, this device would be useful to you and it would save you the entire cost of the bill. You wouldn't get all the channels you could find on cable, but 11 channels for free isn't such a bad deal. You'd still have access to some television entertainment without having to pay a dime for it on a monthly basis.

2 of the 3 Major Channels

I tried this attached and mounted it in my home. On 2 separate TV's with the same result. Either cbs, fox and abc here in Jacksonville Florida or nbc, cw, and bounce. Took it to school and only got cbs. Returned it for my refund.
