Rituals are fulfilled by use of this toy. Many people thrive on rituals, no matter how mundane. These rituals can be anything from driving the same way to work, putting breakfast in the right order on the table, or always having something to hold onto when sitting in a meeting. Fidgeting with this toy fulfills that same level of ritual so it helps people to better focus.
There are cognitive areas of the brain which, today especially, seem to pose a serious distraction to people. Whether kids or adults, questions often plague the mind. Especially questions related to purpose on Earth, people not responding on social media, or your place in the world. These are questions which seem to pop up at inopportune moments in life, usually when you are trying to think or focus.
Having something to distract the brain, like a fidget spinner, means you can distract that particular area of the brain with something tangible, rather than letting it interfere with your focus. So, scientifically speaking, the ability to distract this part of the brain does in fact lead to better productivity and focus.
Place the unit in your hand, holding onto the center piece with your thumb and pointer finger.
Then spin the toy with the other continuously. The small lights inside the three spinning edges will begin to blur into a whirl of color.
For hours of entertainment, you can play around with the speed you are spinning the toy. Each speed changes the light patterns.
The lights are one of the main selling points with this unit. You can use the spinners to make bright lights, creating hundreds of patterns. The issue there is that some places where you might use this spinning toy might not allow the lights. For example, sitting through a presentation at work where there are lights turned off might reveal your spinning lights below while you play.
The Tri-lite spinner is different from other spinners in so far as the different speeds you can spin it equate to different light patterns. Now, this is really unique and almost no other spinner on the market has it. However, that also means that most people who are distracted and playing with it will be staring at the lights to see the different patterns, rather than using it to reap benefits of better focus.
Enhance your focus with this spinner. Restless hands or anxiety can be eliminated by replacing bad habits with this one habit. Just keep spinning thanks to the chrome ball bearing design that spins over a pre-lubricated base. Faster and longer spin cycles come from this so adults and kids over the age of 10 can play for hours. Plus, if anything happens, you get a one year warranty with it.
There are no big noises emitted from this toy. Easy to use, you can carry the small unit around anywhere and enjoy discrete fun. Enjoy better focus and deeper thought. Fidget hand spinner is recommended for use one to three minutes at a time. People who suffer from ADHA will be able to relieve stress.
Great bearing, the ceramic center bearing on this toy, alongside the SLA technology, resin, and laser industrial molding technology means it is long lasting. Hold the spinner in one hand and use the other to rapidly spin the three corners with continuous strikes. Pick from a handful of designs best suited to you.
The spiral spinner is a competing unit sold online which has three lights inside the three corners too. You hold it in your hand, then spin the edges in a similar fashion. While long lasting purportedly, this one lacks the variety in the colors and lights that others offer.
These units are build with a small ball bearing in the center with a flat structure of plastic or metal on the edges. Catherine Hettinger was an engineer who started the fidget spinner invention. She patented the toy back in 1993 for young boys who needed a toy to help them release their pent up energy. Made with soft plastic and a dome in the center for fingers, then a skirt on the outside for circular spinning, her patent ran out in 2005. So now, many people have taken over and expounded upon her idea in spite of there being a large patent issue right now.
Scott McCoskery, for example, made a similar design out of metal so that he could cope with his fidgeting during meetings and conferences. Shortly after he filed his patent for a similar design, other people began to craft their versions, which is how you have the tri-light spinner today.
In spite of the benefits that these units provide for kids and adults, there has been some serious backlash from schools. Many schools have reported that kids are trading their spinners for other spinner, and that while they might help kids focus, they are still distractions. One issue is that designs like the Tri-lite spinner which have different lights when you change speeds, so it is more of a distraction than it is a way to fidget then focus. So for this reason schools are banning them in the classroom, not allowing students to use them on campus.
