This neck wrap is suitable for adult men and women of all ages and is battery-operated, so you'll be able to take it almost anywhere with you.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Wrap Around Neck

To get started with your Thera Twist neck wrap, you'll need to wrap it around your neck as if it's a scarf. You should wrap it fairly tightly, but not so tightly that it feels uncomfortable against your skin. When you're done wrapping it, the thicker side should be at the back of your neck and the two ends should be positioned in front of your face.

  2. Turn On Device

Next, use the black power button that you'll find on one end of your wrap to turn the device on. This will activate its heating mechanism and allow the six built-in nodules to start delivering a gentle massage. At this point, you can also cycle through the three heat settings in order to find the one that suits you best. If you have any difficulty with this, it's best to consult your instruction manual.

  3. Enjoy Soothing Massage

After you've turned on your device and have selected a heat setting, you can sit back and let the device's six small nodules provide you with relief. If you don't have any time to sit down and enjoy a massage, you can continue to wear this device as you go about your daily activities, even if you have to go outdoors. Since the Thera Twist looks so much like an ordinary scarf, you'll be unlikely to stand out if you wear yours in public during cool weather.

Features

  • Navy or Gray

This soothing neck wrap comes in two shades, navy and gray, so you can choose the one you like best or the one that looks best with your clothing or your home's decor. If your partner or another member of your family decides to get a neck wrap, too, the both of you might want to obtain them in different shades so you can avoid mix-ups.

  • For All Adults

Virtually all adult men and women, regardless of age, will be able to use one of these neck wraps. The only adults who shouldn't are those who have been advised not to heat or put any pressure on their neck by a doctor. The size of each Thera Twist wrap will also be suitable for children who have necks that are as large or almost as large as an adult's. A whole family may actually be able to share a couple of these wraps, although any child should receive parental guidance before being offered one to use.

  • Soft Outside, Firm Inside

Each Thera Twist wrap has a soft velveteen outer layer that will feel comfortable against the skin of the neck and won't create any rub marks or rashes. However, the inner core of each wrap is made of durable memory foam that'll be strong enough to support your neck as you sleep. As you wear your wrap, the memory foam will also gently shift your neck and head into an ideal position, thereby correcting any posture issues you might have with those parts of your body.

  • Portable

If you wear one of these neck wraps around your home or out in public, it'll move with you as you move. Additionally, though, it can also be transported in a vehicle if you don't want to continuously wear it. This may come in handy on long car trips (or plane, train or bus trips) when you might need some intermittent neck relief. Each wrap will only take up about a foot of storage space when it's not being worn.

Positive Points

  • No Electricity Required

You won't need an electrical outlet when you want to use your Thera Twist wrap since each one runs solely on battery power. The adapter that's included with each wrap is compatible with both USB and AC charging, so when you need to charge your battery, you'll be able to plug it into the wall or your computer. Once its battery is charged, you'll be able to carry your wrap with you and use it in a variety of places, including outdoor locations such as a local park.

  • Comfortable In Bed

The Thera Twist wrap is comfortable enough to wear in bed all night, and when you wake up after using it, you'll probably feel more rested than you normally would. The memory foam inside will actually help support you during sleep so that your head and neck don't get thrown out of alignment and cause you to wake up in pain. If you don't want to get too hot as you sleep, you can just turn the wrap's heat down to the lowest level possible, at which it'll still provide you with some comforting warmth.

  • Won't Restrict Mobility

Unless you're engaging in some sort of intense athletic activity, such as martial arts, or a water-based activity like swimming, one of these wraps won't restrict your mobility. You'll be able to walk, talk, work on a computer and perform basic activities like you normally would while you have it on. On the other hand, if you were to use a plug-in heating pad or a self-massaging device for neck relief, you'd have to stay rooted in one spot while you used it. While holding a self-massaging device, you wouldn't even have two hands available to use for other tasks.

Negative Points

  • Can't Use Only Heat

With this neck wrap, it's not an option to use only the heating function without being subjected to the massage nodules. While most people will enjoy receiving a neck massage from this device, the occasional person might just want their neck to be heated. To avoid the massage nodules altogether, you'd have to place the wrap more loosely around your neck than one usually would, and then you wouldn't receive quite as much heat from the device, either.

Critical Advice

The Thera Twist wrap will be able to get as hot as 114 degrees Fahrenheit once you turn the power on. Nonetheless, it's best to start with the lowest heat setting if you've never used one of these neck wraps before. If you select the highest one right off the bat, you may find the heat overwhelming, especially in combination with the gentle action of the massage nodules. It's best to start low and gradually work your way up as you become more comfortable with the wrap's actions.
