Super Julietti is a device that's been created with the aim of allowing you to cut various fruits and vegetables into spirals or ribbons with the turn of a handle. Once you're done, it's expected that you can use your sliced vegetables as low-calorie toppings for other food items, or to create healthy salads. Each device comes with two separate blades: one that's been designed to cut fruits and veggies into ribbons, and the other to slice them into spirals.
The cost of Super Julietti is $19.99 and the shipping is FREE!

First, after placing your Super Julietti's silicone ring base (attached to the large transparent container) on a flat surface, you'll need to select one of the two included dark green blades to use. This selection will depend on whether you want to slice your first fruit or vegetable into ribbons or spirals. Once you've made your choice, place your chosen blade in the top of your container (it'll look kind of like a lid) with the pointy side down.
Next, place the fruit or vegetable that you want to slice on top of the blade. This device can only accommodate a small amount of each fruit or veggie at once, so make sure you don't overfill it. Just use one potato, one onion, one apple or a single serving of whatever fruit or veggie you choose. Keep in mind that the fruit or veggie must also be fairly hard, as opposed to squishy, or the blade may not be able to slice it correctly.
To allow yourself to use your device's handle, slide its light green piece over the transparent container (like a hat) and add the handle at the top. How far the handle sticks up will depend on the height of the fruit or vegetable that's currently sitting on top of the blade.
Once you've gained access to your handle, start turning it and watch your device's blade start to cut the food item inside. As it does so, ribbons or spirals will accumulate in the transparent container below.
After an entire vegetable or piece of fruit has been sliced, stop turning the handle and detach the transparent container from the rest of the device. You can either use the sliced food inside it immediately or remove the blade and add the included lid in its place before you store the food away for later. Of course, if you need to slice a second food item, you'll need to empty the container so you can repeat the whole process.
For a kitchen appliance, the Super Julietti can be considered fairly compact, as each one is only about the same size as a small blender. Plus, when it's not in use, its handle and blades will fit into the transparent container, so they won't take up any extra space in your kitchen. Virtually anyone will be able to carry this device in one or both hands when moving it around becomes necessary.
This device hasn't been designed to slice up just one type of fruit or vegetable, or even to cut those of a particular shape. As long as a food item isn't too large, and isn't so mushy that it can't be cut, your device's blade should be able to work with it. If you're unsure if a vegetable or fruit is too large, check and see if it's poking out over the edges of your device—if so, it probably is too big. As an example, you probably won't be able to use this device to slice a whole pineapple!
The Super Julietti's cutting abilities are powered solely by the human turning the handle at the top. If you stop turning the handle, cutting will come to a halt. Sure, you'll have to put in a bit of effort, but you won't have to worry about finding appropriate batteries or an available electrical outlet when you want to use this tool.
Each transparent container's silicone ring base will help the entire device it's attached to stay put on a countertop or table without sliding around. Therefore, it's unlikely that the device will ever spill, and similarly, it's unlikely that your hand will ever slip off the handle, thereby disturbing the efficiency of the cutting process.
Each part of the Super Julietti is dishwasher safe, but for effective cleaning, all parts must be separated before you load them.
If you don't eat a lot of vegetables and fruits because it's tiring or time-consuming to chop them correctly, and they're boring to eat whole, this device may encourage you to increase your intake. When cut into ribbons or spirals, these food items will automatically become a bit more interesting. Furthermore, if you don't like to eat them on their own, you'll be able to use them to garnish meat, fish, or pasta. If you're trying to lose weight, you can even use this device to cut your vegetables into spaghetti strings that will contain fewer calories than ordinary noodles.
When you chop vegetables or pieces of fruit without the aid of a device like the Super Julietti, you might notice that edible and inedible pieces end up all over your counter. Some may even make their way to the floor. When you use this type of device, however, you won't have that issue, as any vegetable or fruit slices will be trapped in your device's container until you need to use them. As a result, you may not have to clean your countertop at all after you're done slicing.
A child who wants to learn their way around the kitchen may be able to start by using a Super Julietti. The device is safe for children to use, as long as you supervise them and do not allow them to touch either of the blades. After you've inserted a blade, help them insert a vegetable or piece of fruit and allow them to turn the device's handle to slice it. This may give them the confidence they need to start using more complicated devices on their own when they're older.
You must remember that this type of slicing device has been designed to cut vegetables and fruits only. If you were to try to use it to slice something else, like a small block of cheese, this may not work. The device's blades may not be able to cut other food items accurately, and subjecting them to other foods might even cause them to get damaged. Moreover, if sticky food items get stuck anywhere in your device, it could be challenging to get them out.
