How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Place Chair In Chosen Location

Once you have a Stand Up Seat, the first thing you'll need to do is set it up in a location of your choice, such as your living room or your bedroom. Regardless of its location, ensure that the base of its black steel frame is resting firmly upon the ground before you even think about sitting on the chair.

  2. Sit Down In the Chair

Next, after your chair is set up, turn on the included remote control and use the "up" button to elevate its seat. Place your bottom against the seat and use the "down" button to lower the chair into an ordinary sitting position. You can also use your remote control to put yourself in a reclining position and elevate your chair's footrest so you can rest your legs on it if you choose.

  3. Start Massage (optional)

If you just want to sit in your chair without massaging your body, that's perfectly fine. However, you can use your remote control's "state" button, along with the "up" and "down" buttons, to turn on up to five massage motors and the heating function. The latter two buttons will also enable you to cycle through 10 different massage types. If you're not sure what type of massage to choose, the "auto" button can give you the chair's default type of relaxing massage for 15 minutes.

  4. Leave Chair

When you're done using your chair, use the remote control's "up" button to elevate the seat slightly upward so you can quickly stand up without pushing or pulling on the chair. Once you're standing up, press the "down" button to lower the seat again. Following that, turn off the remote control to save battery power and halt any heating or massage functions you've turned on.

Features

  • Genuine Leather

Each chair's exterior is made from genuine leather, and you can choose between brown leather or black, so you can pick the shade that looks best with your home's current decor. If you like both shades and more than one person in your household could benefit from this type of chair, you could also obtain more than one.

  • Has Footrest

The Stand Up Seat has a footrest that you can use to elevate your legs as you're reclining in the chair. Aside from making you more comfortable as you relax, elevating your legs can improve the circulation of blood throughout your body. Increased blood flow can help anyone, but people who suffer from heart problems may find it especially beneficial.

  • Contains Vibrating Motors

In order to deliver an effective massage to you when you want it, each chair contains five vibrating massage motors. By using your remote control, you'll be able to turn on as little as one motor and as many as five at a time, depending on your massage needs and preferences. The motors are strategically positioned throughout the chair so they can deliver a therapeutic massage to various pressure points within your body.

  • Durable Frame

This type of chair has a frame that's made of stainless steel, which is commonly considered a very durable material. As a result, even if you're overweight or obese, the frame will likely be able to support you without bending or breaking. Even if you sit in this chair every day and use the remote control to adjust its position, it may last you for years before it needs to be replaced.

  • Wide Side Pockets

Your Stand Up Seat will have a wide pocket on each side, and you can use these pockets to store items that you want to keep close at hand, like glasses or your smartphone.

Positive Points

  • Promotes Independence

Without a chair like the Stand Up Seat, a senior who has arthritis or other physical issues may need assistance from another person to get into and out of a chair. Fortunately, though, getting this type of chair may allow a senior with mobility issues to remain more independent in their home by enabling them to sit down and get up themselves. If you're a senior who often uses a cane to get into or out of a chair, you may be able to avoid using that once you have this particular remote-controlled chair, too.

  • Ideal For Pregnancy

The Stand Up Seat is ideal for pregnant women who want to rest their swollen, tired legs at the end of the day. If you're pregnant, just use your remote to recline and then place your legs on the footrest for a much-needed hour or so of relief. In the event that your pregnancy is also negatively interfering with your circulatory system, this position will likely get your blood flowing more efficiently again.

  • May Improve Sleep

No matter who you are, spending some time in your Stand Up Seat before bed could improve your sleep. Even young to middle-aged athletes who can't sleep due to sore muscles or injuries may be able to benefit from the chair's massage and heating functions. You can choose whether to use the chair's footrest on its own for rest and elevation or to add in the other functions, but either way, you should benefit. Both options promote relaxation, tension relief, and an improved physical state, which will automatically lead to deeper and longer sleep for anyone.

Negative Points

  • Fairly Heavy

This chair is a good one for people with mobility issues to use once it's set up, but getting it into your home and into the room of your choice could be a struggle. The chair is fairly heavy, so if you're not in optimum condition, you'll probably need the help of another person to maneuver it into the place where you want it to rest. Similarly, while you may be able to slide it across a room yourself, you'll probably need help if you ever want to move it any further than that.

  • Remote Requires Batteries

To keep the remote control that comes with this chair operating properly, you'll have to keep it filled with the appropriate batteries. Without the remote control, you'll still be able to sit in this type of chair, but you won't get any assistance with sitting down or getting up. You also won't be able to use its heating or massage functions.
