Clearly they are not like other socks and are not necessarily made the same way. As such you might not be able to wash them the same way either, but no instructions are provided.
Does It Really Work?
Yes it does. If your footwear does not fit perfectly and you are one of many who suffer from having your ankle roll around or move around against the tops of shoes when you are active, then yes. It will work well in offering more stability and taking some of the pressure of the dozens of bones and tendons that work together for your feet. When you wear it, you are wearing it the same as any other pair of socks. You will feel the stabilizing pads on either side of the socks resting against your ankles.
These pads are what give your ankle the support, keeping your foot perfectly fitted inside of the shoe and no longer moving around when you do. Reducing the movement keeps unnecessary pressure off of parts of the foot, ankles, knees, and hips so that you are not in pain as often. Moreover, any recovery after sports will be reduced too.
