This type of spice rack has been designed to hold up to 40 spice bottles at once, and it's specified that each one will rotate from side to side. How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Place on Flat Surface

Before you fill up your Spice Spinner, you'll need to place it on a flat surface, such as a countertop. A table may also be ideal.

  2. Fill Shelves

Next, fill the shelves of your rack with individual spice bottles, without placing any on top of each other. As alluded to above, it's best to add the tallest ones to the turntable on the bottom shelf. Make sure you don't add more than 40 bottles to the rack, even if it seems like they'll fit, as overloading the rack could cause it to crack.

  3. Adjust Second Tier (optional)

Depending on the height of your spice bottles, you might find that there's not enough space between the bottom and the top shelf, once you start filling the shelves. If that's so, you can pull up your top shelf to two different (but both higher) levels, in order to give yourself more space. This change in the height of the top shelf can be quickly reversed if you decide that the original height was better.

  4. Transfer to Cabinet (optional)

You can leave your spice rack on a table or a countertop if you'd like, but at this point, you'll also be able to carefully transfer your rack to a cabinet. Due to its D-shape, you won't have trouble fitting it into the vast majority of kitchen cabinets. In fact, it may not even take up an entire shelf.

  • Two Shades to Choose From

When obtaining a Spice Spinner, you'll be able to choose whether you want yours to be white or gray, so you may want to choose the shade that best matches your kitchen's decor. If you've got more than three dozen spices to organize, though, it could be a good idea to get one of these racks in each shade.

  • Durable and Sturdy

Although each rack is made from plastic, it's stated that this plastic is durable and sturdy. As a result, your rack will be unlikely to fall over, if you never add more than 40 items to its shelves, and it may last you for decades without cracking.

  • Offers Clear View of Contents

If you've got spices arranged in rows in a kitchen cabinet, you may not be able to see the bottles in the back at a glance. That won't be the case when you use a Spice Spinner, though, as it'll always give you a clear view of its contents. Whenever you look at it, you'll be able to see at least part of each spice bottle you've added, so you'll be able to quickly grab the one you need. For an even clearer view of a particular spice, you'll also be able to rotate the rack or its turntable.

Positive Points

  • May Help You Save Space

By adding all your spice bottles to a Spice Spinner, instead of leaving each one sitting individually in a cabinet or on a counter, you may free up lots of space. The main reason for this is that you'll have two layers of shelving to add spices to, instead of just one flat surface in your cabinet or on your counter. You may be able to add other scattered items to the storage space that you've freed up, which could make your kitchen look less messy.

  • Aids With Cooking

The food preparation and cooking process can be time-consuming, especially if you have to spend many minutes rooting through one or more cabinets, looking for certain spices that you need to use. Fortunately, however, by keeping all of your spices ready-at-hand, your Spice Spinner will save you at least a few minutes as you get ready to make a spice-infused meal. With a clear view of all your spices, you'll also be less likely to grab the wrong spice and end up making something that's unappetizing.

  • Can Hold Other Items

Those people who don't have a lot of spices may still be able to put a Spice Spinner to good use. You might choose to use one of these racks in your fridge, to hold small condiment bottles, or place one on your bathroom vanity in order to keep your nail polishes organized. Along the same lines, one of these may come in handy if you're a crafter and you need to store small bottles of paint in an organized fashion.

  • Deluxe Version Available

Regardless of what you add to your Spice Spinner's shelves, if you feel that the standard version doesn't offer you quite enough space, you may be interested in the deluxe version. Besides the standard two shelves, each deluxe rack will come with a third shelf that's detachable. Therefore, you'll be able to use that third shelf when you need it and then detach it to save space, if necessary.

Negative Points

  • No Individual Compartments

Within each Spice Spinner, there aren't individual compartments for each spice bottle. Consequently, if you were to accidentally knock one bottle over with one of your fingers, this could create a chain reaction, and all the bottles on the same shelf could fall over. The bottles on the bottom shelf of this rack will likely stay put, even if you bump against it, but you'll need to be careful when you grab any bottles from the top shelf.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Add Labels

To enhance the organization of your spice rack, if you plan on keeping all of your spices in the same order, you may want to add labels to your rack. You can make labels by writing the name of each spice on a piece of masking tape and then sticking each piece to the rack, or by printing labels from your computer.

  2. Fill Space With Cans, Jars

If you don't have quite enough spice bottles to fill an entire rack, it's acceptable to add a can to the turntable or add a few of these to the bottom shelf. The same goes for glass jars, such as jam jars. However, to avoid overloading your rack, you must count each can or glass jar as the equivalent of two spice bottles.
