The Speed Razor is one that you can use to shave your head and various areas of your body faster than you'd be able to with a standard razor. This razor is different from a standard one because it contains eight blades, with four facing each other from opposing sides. Due to this design, you'll be able to shave in both directions at the same time. These razors come in sets of two and also come with a storage stand.
The cost of Speed Razor is $17.99 and the shipping is FREE! This price was obtained from the As Seen on TV commercial page found at speedrazor.com; however, the company has since ceased selling Speed Razor and has taken down the website. Speed Razor may still be found for sale on Amazon or Ebay.
To begin using this razor, you'll need to be sure that your fingers are placed accurately. Your middle finger should be underneath the lump in the middle of your razor, while your ring and index fingers should be placed on top of your razor's two grooves.
Once your hands are placed properly on the device, begin moving it back and forth to shave your head, chest, arms or legs. As with a standard razor, make sure you're gentle as you do so.
After you're done shaving, return your Speed Razor to the included white storage dock. This will help protect its blades so that they'll last longer before needing to be replaced.
The two sets of four high-performance blades facing each other enable this razor to do a quick shaving job in both directions at once. Standard razors often only contain one to four blades, facing in only one direction, so they're not able to work as efficiently as this one.
When selecting a Speed Razor, you'll be able to choose between a red one with black plastic holding the blades or a blue one with white plastic holding the blades. They come in sets of two, so you'll get two identical ones in whatever color you choose.
The design of each of these razors offers an ergonomic non-slip grip, so you'll feel comfortable while holding onto one and you'll be able to hold it securely. Best of all, a low chance of your fingers slipping means there'll be a low chance of you accidentally cutting yourself.
When the blades get dull in one of these razors, you'll be able to replace them instead of buying an entire new razor. Replacement blades can be obtained in sets of four.
A lower number of blades running in only one direction may not get each and every piece of unwanted hair, but your Speed Razor will always offer you a super-close shave. This will come in especially handy when you need to shave your armpits, under which hair is often thick and often grows in both directions.
If you put your fingers in the right place and rub this razor back and forth in a straight line, it won't cut you or otherwise hurt you. However, if you're not that physically coordinated and put your fingers in the wrong place or fail to follow a straight path as you shave, you may end up getting cut.
To avoid the coordination issue mentioned above, it's best to try out the new hand position and technique this razor requires on a non-living object, before moving on to your skin.
Older children, such as girls who've begun to shave their legs or boys who've begun to shave their face, may want to use this razor. It's acceptable that they do so, but they should be supervised for at least the first couple of uses.
This razor can be used to shave almost any body part, but you must refrain from using it anywhere near the eyes. If you want to remove unwanted hair from your eyebrows, you'll need to invest in a smaller device such as a pair of tweezers.
