Sno-Cone Man is a machine that allows consumers to quickly and easily make snow cones at home. It gets its name from the shape that makes up the product's design. Snow cones can be made with only ice cubes and the parts included with this item, like paper cones, two squeeze bottles, five sample flavors, a funnel and a shovel tool for serving. Customers will also get a certificate of authenticity to ensure they are receiving the real deal.
The cost of Sno-con Man is $19.99 plus $7.99 shipping, for a total price of $27.98. Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page: snoconeman.com
Kids and adults alike will almost certainly have fun using this device simply because of the cute snowman that it emulates. Lifting the hat to add the ice is a creative feature that will encourage kids to learn how to use it on their own ( supervision is still advised, see below ). An additional bonus is that the shovel tool fits into the snow man's hand, keeping it safe and adding to the winter scene.
The Sno-Cone Man is an updated version of a classic device that has been around since the childhood times of today's parents and even grandparents. Nothing complements a product like longevity, and people still love snow cones.
Not only does this machine come with five fruit flavor samples, but it can also be used with the customer's choice of flavoring. This is accomplished by freezing juices or similar drinks in ice cube trays, then simply using those instead of regular ice cubes. No additional flavoring is required, as is the case with plane ice cubes.
This snowman has a big bottom. It includes spaces on either side to place each of the squeeze bottles.
The process of turning cubes of ice into crumbled pieces and shavings takes a not-so-gentle touch. This product features a grinding mechanism in the body that has the potential to damage anything placed inside of it during operation. Accordingly, it should only be used by children with adult supervision.
Users should freeze water ( or flavored drink if desired ) in an ice cube tray, or obtain ice pieces from another source, like a fridge dispenser.
The center of the Sno-Cone Man's hat can be lifted out to reveal a chamber. Place the prepared ice into this area and reinsert the hat piece.
Turning the handle on the back of this machine will engage the grinding mechanism that sits in the belly of the show man design. Pressing down on the removable hat center will push the ice against the spinning shaver and deposit the resulting show inside the removal area.
A shovel-like accessory is provided to let users scoop out the snow and place it in either the provided paper cones or in their own container. Steps 3 and 4 can be repeated until people have as much of a serving as is desired.
Customers who choose to freeze their own flavored cubes will not need to add flavoring after the ice has been prepared. However, nothing is stopping them from doing so and some interesting tastes may result from mixing techniques. Those who used plain ice will want to add either a sample, or their own choice of flavored liquid at this stage ( unless they like plain snow, which is fine of course ).
This package comes with five flavor samplers that resemble thawed freeze pops. The included kinds are cherry, orange, lime, blue raspberry and grape.
