Snew is colored, slimy goo for kids that can be stretched and squished in a variety of different ways. It comes in four different colors and is suitable for both boys and girls. This goo is convenient for parents, too, as it won't easily stick to your floors or furniture. With each super-sized jug of Snew in your chosen color, you'll also get an extra jug, a plastic bubble blower, and a slime-activated ball that makes the noise of a siren.
The cost of Snew is $14.95 plus $4.95 shipping, for a total price of $19.9. This price was obtained from the As Seen on TV commercial page found at buysnew.com; however, the company has since ceased selling Snew and has taken down the website. Snew may still be found for sale on Amazon or Ebay.
When selecting a color of Snew, you'll be able to choose between pink, blue, yellow, and green.
Snew comes in sets of two super-sized jugs, with the second jug coming in the same shade as the first. Therefore, you'll have twice as much to play with at once!
With each set of two jugs, you'll receive a plastic, straw-like bubble blower, with which you'll be able to blow bubbles in your goo without actually putting your mouth on it. You'll also get a small, slime-activated siren ball that will light up and wail like a siren whenever you wrap it in your goo.
While this goo will stick to itself, enabling you to wrap it in a ball, you'll be able to pull it off other things such as furniture, floors, clothing, and skin without a struggle.
If you've got a bored group of kids at your home, or are having a children's party, a jug of Snew will likely entertain the kids for a least a couple of hours. They can not only see how long and how wide they can stretch the goo, but also blow bubbles in it and watch them pop. With adult supervision, they may even enjoy wrapping the goo around each other's waists or making skipping ropes out of goo.
When it comes to what you can make out of Snew, the possibilities are almost endless, and kids will be able to exercise their creativity when figuring out what they'll come up with next.
If you've got breakables in your home, along with rowdy kids, and you're worried about something being hit by a piece of flying goo, the kids can use this goo outdoors, too. Just remember to pick up any stray pieces when playtime is over, so no outdoor animal can come along and ingest them.
It would be nice if your set of two jugs could include two different shades of goo, but unfortunately, that option's not available. If you want goo in a different shade from your first jug, you'll need to order a second set.
Your kids will likely enjoy playing with the siren ball included with each jug of Snew. However, other members of the household ( or even neighbors, if the kids play outdoors ) may find its sound irritating. A child who is particularly sensitive to noise may, too.
Although Snew may look good enough to eat, especially if you've used yours to make pretend fruit or French fries, it should not be eaten. Even if you'll be watching your kids while they play with it, it's best to remind them not to put it in their mouths at all.
Since they likely won't understand verbal warnings not to eat it, and may get sick if they do, family pets should be kept at a safe distance from this goo.
If you like the idea of Snew but don't want to deal with the noise that the siren balls make, remove the balls from the jugs' lids before offering the jugs to your kids. Unless they've looked at the jugs online, they won't realize that balls are normally included with them.
