Smile Pen is a ballpoint pen that also contains a hidden camera and microphone. It's specified that the pen looks like an ordinary expensive pen, but it has a built-in miniature lens to enable you to record high-definition video (along with audio) at a wide angle. Plus, the wide-angle lens will take high-definition pictures, too. Each pen is accompanied by a 16-gigabyte memory card for the storage of video or photo footage and a USB cable for charging purposes.
The cost of Smile Pen is $39.98 and the shipping is FREE!

To begin using your Smile Pen as a regular pen, twist its bottom half to the left to reveal the ballpoint that will release black ink. It should release the ink smoothly onto any piece of paper since it's been designed to allow you to write as you would with any expensive pen.
When you're ready to record some video or audio footage, turn the pen so that the end opposite its ballpoint is facing you and push the uppermost, button-like part down. As long as the top is pushed down, the camera will keep recording audio and video at the same time. When you're finished recording, gently push down on the top once again to release it. If you want to take a picture instead of recording audio or video, push the top button down and release it quickly like it's an old-fashioned camera's button.
If you're not going to be using your pen as a camera or a writing utensil for a while, it's best to ensure that the camera is off and the pen is closed. To close the pen, twist its bottom half to the right until the ballpoint disappears inside. You can store your pen wherever you like or even use the built-in clip to clip it to your shirt or a pants pocket.
The ink that comes out of each Smile Pen when you use it as a regular pen will be black, which is an acceptable shade to most institutions, such as banks and post offices. Consequently, you should be able to pull out this type of pen and use it when you need to add your signature to something. If you're still allowed to submit handwritten assignments in school, teachers and professors tend to prefer black or blue ink over other shades, too.
You might think that a pen with a hidden camera would be much bulkier than other pens, but this one is about the same size as most expensive black pens without cameras inside. That means you won't end up carrying a heavier load in your pencil case, briefcase, or schoolbag by adding this type of pen to your collection of supplies. If you don't want to run the risk of anyone noticing that you're carrying a pen with a camera, you can discreetly cover almost the entire thing by tucking it into one of your pockets.
The camera built into this pen and the microphone that accompanies it are both of the high-definition variety. This means any recordings you take with your Smile Pen will be clear instead of being fuzzy or muffled. On the other hand, if you were to use a lower-definition camera, you might get just a fuzzy video of people and things, which could make it hard to tell what's going on. Likewise, you may not be able to make out every word on the audio recording clearly.
Each of these pens has a built-in memory card that will hold 16 gigabytes of audio and video recordings (or images). A card of this size will accommodate up to thousands of images and hours of video footage. With each pen, you'll also receive a USB charging cable that you can use to charge its camera and look at photos or videos on your memory card.
If you're getting tired of carrying your smartphone everywhere in case you need to record an interesting video or take a picture, you may find using the Smile Pen to be a refreshing alternative. This pen won't take up as much space in a pocket, backpack, handbag, or glove compartment as even the smallest smartphone will. Furthermore, due to its cylindrical shape, you may find it less cumbersome to hang onto as you take pictures or record video. You can also write on traditional notepaper with this device—something you can't do with your phone!
Students who have to take notes during long lectures may love this type of pen since it'll enable any student to record their teacher or professor speaking as they take their notes. If you're a student who sometimes zones out during lectures and misses small points, or you have an instructor who speaks quickly, this pen will enable you to listen to your lectures again later. Similarly, if you're in a public work meeting and you don't want to miss anything your boss says, you can record the meeting with this pen.
Parents who want to start leaving teenagers home alone but are worried they'll get up to something bad will be able to use one of these pens to check on them. If you set one up in a discreet place in your living room or kitchen, it'll record the activity of your teenagers and you'll be able to watch the footage later. That way, if they bring extra people into the house or engage in activities you've forbidden, you'll have proof. Since the proof will be on video, you'll also be able to confront a teenager with it, if necessary.
The 16-gigabyte memory card that comes with each pen won't have unlimited space, but there's a quick solution if it gets too full and will no longer record video or take pictures. If you plug your pen into your computer by using the included USB cable, you'll be able to access the footage on the memory card. Once you access it, you can decide whether to transfer the files to your computer or delete them. Either way, your memory card will be clear so you can start using your pen as a camera again.
In some regions, it's illegal to record activities that are taking place in private without the consent of the other people who are present. Therefore, before using this pen to record anything that's taking place in private, you should research your local laws and make sure you're adhering to them.
