Smart Skewers are cooking apparatuses that will help you quickly make 25 shish kebabs that are equal in size. All you'll need to do is drop your favorite raw foods into the containers, add the included skewers, and use the holes found on the sides of each container to slice the food into kebabs. Following that, regardless of whether you've used meat, fish, vegetables or a combination of all three to create them, the kebabs will be ready for cooking, barbecuing, or serving. If you have a dishwasher, cleanup won't be incredibly time-consuming, as you'll be able to run all parts of your Smart Skewers system ( except for the skewers ) through it.
When you use Smart Skewers, you won't need to spend a ton of time preparing an elaborate dinner for a group of people who may or may not appreciate it. Instead, you'll be able to make kebabs that include virtually any ingredients of your choice in just minutes. Since no single kebab will be much bigger or smaller than another, they'll all cook evenly, so you shouldn't experience any excessively hot or cold bites. If you have kids, they'll likely think it's fun to consume a meal off a stick, and using sticks instead of utensils means that you won't have as many dishes to clean up later.
The cost of Smart Skewers is $19.99 plus $7.50 shipping. The special TV offer allows a free gift which you will receive by paying the extra shipping fee of $7.50 for a total price of $34.99. Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page: tvstuffsale.com
Attach the white piece of your device to the red base, and drop the ingredients you wish to include in your kebabs through the top. You can use nearly any type of food, including fruit, but all food should be raw when dropped in.
Attach the red cover to the white piece, and poke the included bamboo skewers through each of the cover's 25 holes. Make sure the pointy end of each skewer is facing downward. As you insert them, the design of each Smart Skewers apparatus will ensure that the skewers are guided toward the appropriate holes in the base.
Use the available Smart Skewer blade or another long, fairly thin knife to cut through the holes on the sides of the white section of your device. This will chop the food you've inserted into individual shish kebabs.
Once you've sliced your ingredients into 25 kebabs, you can prepare them in whatever way is appropriate. If you've only used vegetables or fruit as ingredients, you may be able to simply serve them, but you'll need to cook or barbecue any meat or fish on your skewers.
With each Smart Skewers apparatus, you'll get a set of 25 bamboo skewers. Bamboo won't melt easily when heated like plastic does, or become too hot to eat food off of, as metal normally does. Plus, if a user's skin comes in contact with the point of a bamboo skewer, this will likely cause much less pain than a poke with the point of a metal skewer would.
Each Smart Skewers system won't take up much space in a drawer or cupboard, as the red base and top will stack flat and the white middle will fold up so it becomes flat, too.
You can safely wash the base, middle, and top of your Smart Skewers apparatus in the dishwasher.
Many kids will likely find it fun to eat their dinner off a stick as opposed to using a traditional fork, knife, and spoon.
If you enjoy meat, you can use your Smart Skewers system to create delicious kebabs that contain pieces of meat such as beef, chicken, turkey, or pork. Alternatively, if you're more into fish, shrimp kebabs can be made. Furthermore, if you're a vegetarian or want your kebabs to contain a minimal amount of calories, you can make ones that contain only vegetables and / or fruit. Veggie and fruit kebabs will also come in handy when you don't want to turn on a barbecue or oven.
If you're not sure where to start, or you're tired of the same old kebab recipes, you can turn to your Smart Skewers CookBook, included with each device, for ideas.
Eating from sticks can be a messy process, especially if the people at the table aren't used to eating kebabs. Food could end up slipping off the sticks and dropping into diners' laps or onto the floor.
The bamboo skewers that come with each Smart Skewers system are not dishwasher safe like the rest of the pieces. Therefore, you'll need to soak them in water for at least a half hour before using them.
