Skinny Stacks are containers that have been designed to store food with an airtight seal so it stays fresh instead of drying out, becoming stale, or getting freezer-burned. Each plastic container is about the size of a small laptop's screen, and each one has a transparent silicone lid that will stretch over the food inside while allowing you to clearly see it. Despite each container's compact size, it's claimed that one of these can hold a serving of food the size of a small roasted chicken.
The cost of Skinny Stacks is $19.99 plus $9.99 shipping for a total price of $29.98.

To get started with your Skinny Stacks, place one of them on your counter so the white inner surface is facing upward and you can see the turquoise blue rim around the outside. Place some food, such as a few slices of cheese, some watermelon chunks, or virtually anything else on the white surface. If your food won't fill up the whole surface, placing it as close to the middle as possible is best.
Next, close the transparent silicone lid of your container—when it's fully closed, you'll hear it lightly snap shut. As you close the lid, its silicone material will stretch over pieces of food of nearly any shape, size, or texture without ripping or picking up a hole.
On one side of your container's frame, you'll find a sliding freshness tracker that you can use to keep track of when you first put food in each Skinny Stacks container. To do so, slide this tracker to the appropriate date and month.
Once you've set your container's freshness tracker, you can transfer it to your refrigerator, your freezer, or a cupboard of your choice. No matter where you put it, the airtight seal of its silicone lid should keep it safe from degeneration for up to several weeks, depending on the type of food that's being stored. Whenever you want to eat the food inside one of these containers, all you'll need to do is pop it open.
Covering food items you've prepared in advance (or leftovers) with plastic wrap or tin foil, or putting them in plastic containers with lids can preserve their freshness to a certain extent. However, with those methods of storage, air can often slip into the area surrounding the food and cause it to dry out or otherwise go bad more quickly than what you might consider ideal. On the other hand, the silicone lids of your Skinny Stacks will push any extra air out of the containers before they're sealed, thereby promoting an extended period of freshness.
As alluded to above, this type of container is compact, and if you use more than one, they're also stackable. It can be awkward to stack containers of different sizes in a refrigerator, freezer, or cupboard, but these ones will all be the same size and fit nicely on top of each other. If you decide to stack your Skinny Stacks, you'll likely save yourself at least a few inches of space, both horizontally and vertically, in any food storage area.
These containers can be safely put in the microwave and the dishwasher. Consequently, if you want to heat some stored food in the microwave, you won't even have to move it to another dish to do so. You'll simply be able to pop the original container (without its lid) inside. Plus, you'll be able to clean this type of container in your dishwasher, if you have one, whenever any of them get dirty. If you don't have a dishwasher, each one can also be hand-washed.
You'll always be able to see the condition of the food you've stored in one of these containers, at first glance, due to each one's transparent lid. That means you'll be able to get a good idea of whether it's still OK for eating before you even open a lid. Furthermore, each transparent lid is resistant to tearing or puncturing, which means that one of these containers will likely last you for several years or more, even if it gets bumped around in a freezer.
With other food storage containers, you'll have to write down the day and month in which you place each container in a food storage space if that information's important to you. You won't have to do this when using Skinny Stacks, though, as each container's built-in tracker will keep track of that with a quick slide of a tab. If you use the appropriate tabs, you'll be able to peer quickly at any container and see exactly how long you've been storing the food inside.
Some storage containers have been designed to hold only certain types of food, but these containers will hold food from all the main food groups, such as meat, dairy, and fruits and vegetables. Each lid's silicone may look like it won't fit over a large piece of food, like a large piece of chocolate cake, but you'll probably be surprised by what this material can actually stretch over.
If you're taking food to a dinner party at someone else's house, or even out in your own backyard, these are ideal storage containers for the food. Those party-givers or party-goers who don't have a whole lot of serving dishes, or don't feel like getting them dirty, can opt to serve food directly from their Skinny Snacks. To do this, just plop each one down on a serving table and pop it open (after you've warmed the food inside up, if necessary). If there are any leftovers, you'll be able to use the containers to store them at home.
You'll never just get one of these containers at once since they come in sets of two, and you can get two sets at once, which will of course give you four. If you obtain multiple Skinny Stacks containers, it won't be necessary to wash one after every use, if you're pressed for time. You should always wash each one after using it to store dairy or meat products, though.
When you warm one of these containers in the microwave, always remove the lid first, or it may end up damaged by the heat that the microwave gives off. Given this type of container's design, you'll be able to quickly remove the lid and then add it back again, if you'd like, once the bottom comes out of the microwave.
If you find yourself frequently throwing out food and obtaining replacement food items because certain foods in your refrigerator, freezer, or cupboards have gone bad, Skinny Stacks can help you out. With these, any food you store will last for days or even weeks longer than it otherwise would, which means you'll be more likely to eat it before it has to be wasted as garbage.

No way to get warranty help. The plastic split the first time tried to close it. No telephone number for replacement. If you buy DO NOT close over anything more than a couple of inches thick. Will split. Then who knows what results after even a few uses?
