Scrub & Go is a compact, portable, hand-held scrub brush that's meant to be used to clean dirt off a wide variety of indoor or outdoor objects, such as tubs, showers, and motorized vehicles. It comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and it's stated that the device will run for up to 40 consecutive minutes after a single charge. Aside from the powerful scrubbing head, you'll also get three other interchangeable heads to help you with your cleaning needs.
The cost of Scrub & Go is $59.98 and the shipping is FREE!
When you turn on your Scrub & Go with the power button, its powerful super-scrub brush will begin to deliver almost 300 scrubs per minute to any mess. Its power will penetrate deep beneath the surface of each mess and lift it off the surface that it's soiling, without the use of any chemicals. Once you're done using the brush for a few minutes, all you'll typically need to do is wipe away the lifted-off mess with a damp cloth. If it's not scrubbing, but dusting, buffing or polishing you need to do, you'll be able to turn off the device, remove the super-scrub head and add one of the other three included heads. You'll also receive two plastic adapters with each tool—a larger one to be attached along with the largest (microfiber) head, and a smaller one to be attached along with the other three heads.
The Scrub & Go cleaning device is only about the size of a standard iron (perhaps a bit smaller than some) and weighs only two pounds. Therefore, most users will be able to carry it from place to place, in and around the home, in just one hand. It also won't take up a great deal of storage space in your home, or even in your vehicle, when you're not using it.
As mentioned, this device can be carried around, and since it's battery-operated, you won't need to worry about dragging an extension cord around with you. However, a small cord is included with each one, which you'll need to use when it comes time to recharge the battery by plugging it into electricity.
This particular tool is blue and white, a color combination that tends to be attractive, especially if you decide to store it in your kitchen or bathroom when it's not in use.
The Scrub & Go tool will be able to remove messes from virtually any type of surface that's commonly found in the home or yard, such as wood, tile, metal, or glass. Even if you're using the super-scrubber head, it'll be gentle enough on the glass it comes in contact with that it won't cause any damage. That means you'll be able to use the tool to clean interior and exterior windows, and bathroom mirrors, too.
If you're going to clean something in or around your home with an ordinary rag, sponge, or scrubbing brush, you might need to use a chemical cleaning solution along with that tool. On the other hand, you might find that your Scrub & Go is so powerful on its own, you'll be able to use it to remove stains without adding chemicals for help. If you're able to reduce your use of potentially harsh chemicals, you'll be treating the environment—not to mention your own respiratory system—more kindly.
Aside from not taking up much space on its own, this type of tool may be able to help you save space in a couple of other ways. Perhaps most significantly, you may be able to get rid of bottles of chemical cleaner that you have lying around, or at least refrain from replacing those substances once they're gone. You might also be able to dispose of some old, possibly large scrubbing brushes that just aren't doing an effective job anymore. Both of these actions may, in turn, free up a great deal of space in your cabinets or closets.
Whether you're at home or at the cottage, the Scrub & Go is ideal for outdoor cleaning since it won't need to be plugged into electricity at all times. In most places, outdoor electrical outlets are only available on a limited basis (if at all), so if you want to use an electrical cleaning tool, you might have to plug it in indoors. Typically, the extension cord will limit how far you can travel with a tool like this, but you won't have this problem with the cordless Scrub & Go—at least for about 40 minutes!
If you want to get even more out of this tool, there's a deluxe version available. It comes with a removable, adjustable handle that will snap on and extend up to three feet in length, which will allow you to reach further without putting much strain on your back.
The lithium-ion battery within each of these tools is rechargeable up to a point, but after two or three years or up to 300 charges, it may die completely. Depending on its size and how it's been inserted into each scrubbing tool, there's a chance that it could be difficult to find a replacement and insert it in the tool. If you can't get a new and appropriate battery, you'll basically lose the use of this tool, since plugging it into electricity for ordinary use (aside from recharging) isn't an option.
The four interchangeable heads that come with each Scrub & Go are rectangular and flat, and they won't bend very much. It would be helpful if they could be made more flexible, especially for users who often find themselves cleaning curved surfaces or objects with sharp corners. As they are, the heads could miss tiny bits of dirt when cleaning surfaces of those two types, although they'll likely grab every bit of dirt off any flat surface.
With the Scrub & Go, you may be able to clean any mess from any surface in your home in half the time it'd normally take you. To start with, instead of vigorously moving a cloth, brush or sponge back and forth with your own hand(s), you can let the device's motor do most of that for you. That means you likely won't need as many breaks due to fatigue. Plus, each device's scrubber head can scrub much faster than a cloth attached to a human hand, no matter how hard the human is working. Consequently, even if you do take some breaks, you'll probably get the job done much more quickly anyhow.
