What are Ruggies?

Rugs that are installed at home or the workplace are bound to have quite a few feettreading over it. Apart from the beauty that rugs add to the décor of a room, it also plays a very important in keeping the room clean and dust and dirt free. People admire rugs and love to stand on them and view a room. The one thing that would completely defeat the purpose of a beautiful rug is to see someone slip on it, as the rug slides across the floor. Ruggies are made to avoid  any accidents and keep a room’s neatness intact.

How does it work?

Ruggies are installed at the corner, on the underside of a carpet. It neatly fits into the rounded corners of the rugs and are thin enough to stay in line with the floor and not lift the carpet up on the sides. Ruggies firmly fit to the carpet and prevent the rug from moving around or curling at the corners due to usage.

Easy to use

The Ruggies can be firmly sealed onto the floor or onto the underside, corner of the rug. There are no adhesives on any of the sides of the Ruggies and it works purely on natural dynamics. Even when there is an excess collection of dirt on the rug or the Ruggies and there is a need to clean, all that is required is a good wash in some warm water.

Uses

Ruggies are specifically built to prevent rugs from slipping or curling when used frequently. It does not matter the kind of flooring that rugs are placed on, Ruggies are a good fit in any kind of flooring, even linoleum. The need to replace or buy new Ruggies is not necessary as Ruggies do not use any adhesives to stay in place.

Features

Ruggies are carefully designed to serve its ultimate purpose of keeping rugs in place. The unique Tacky Grip Technology uses suction pockets to keep the rugs in place without the use of adhesive. The features of Ruggies are as follows:
  • Prevent Curled Corners
  • Prevent Rug Slips
  • No Adhesives
  • Grip Polymer Technology
  • Reusable
  • Washable
  • No Sticky Residue

Positive aspects

Unlike other rug grippers that use extensive amounts of adhesive to keep the rugs in place, and go on to damage the flooring with sticky residue, Ruggies work very differently. There are over hundred suction pockets that work to keep the rug in place. Ruggies hold carpets and rugs strongly in place even if there is a need to vacuum over the rug. Ruggies are washable and never lose its grip. Simply washing off any dirt makes Ruggies good as new to be reused again.

Save Money

There are numerous rugs in the market that are cheap, look beautiful and would adorn a room wonderfully. However, most rugs never stay in the place it is laid. Rugs tend to move around, curl at the corners or slip. As a result people have to constantly keep investing on rugs. With Ruggies, a one time investment is worth the lifetime of every good rug.

I Regret Buying it!

Had Ruggies on my hardwood floor for a couple of years with an area rug. When I lifted the rug for cleaning, the Ruggies have left a residue on the floor that I can't remove--can anyone help with this?

Found my own answer--seems no one else has had this experience. Anyway, in desperation, I used a product called Goof Off, there still is a faint shadow that I will try for removal again later.

Not Worth The Money

The part which adheres to the floor holds weak and the part with the adhesive does not stick to different kind of rugs. Even using a clue(kind of caulking)on the rug solves the coming loose only partially. Change the adhesive make the floor part stronger and you may get a product worth to sell. The idea is good but the product miserable

Rip-Off

This is the worst product rip-off I have ever seen. The only thing that "Ruggies" stick to is the floor. I even bought the additional super stickers and they won't adhere to any of the rugs I have. All these rave reviews that I've seen must have been submitted by the manufacturer's marketing group. I would. Not recommend anyone buying this product.

Very Disapointed

This was the worst site I had ever gone on. I wanted one set and the "free" one, so said I wanted two. Then when I was charged for 4, there was no way to go back and change it. There was no phone number to call, and customer service never answered my e-mail. The product arrived and I tired it on two different type rugs, and floors and neither sticks. And there was no receipt in the package, so again NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL !!!!!!

I have something to say!

Warranty Returns

What is the contact information for warranty returns?

In 2013 I purchased Ruggies rug grippers with a 10 year warranty. I'd like to return them for a refund. They do not work as advertised and guaranteed.

They are made of a synthetic polymer, which usually is as safe as Legos or a plastic shower curtain, and inert at room temperature. I'm not sure about the glue on the self sticking helper-pads. Use gloves during installation if your worried about irritation. I did not notice any strong "off-gassing" ( smell ) when opening or using this product.
