Royal Gold is a spray-on cleaning and polishing solution that's designed for use on furniture made of wood, stainless steel, vinyl, and leather. It's also safe for use on other non-furniture objects that are made of those same materials, such as leather or vinyl belts and stainless steel kitchenware. Although this cleaning solution does contain wax, it contains natural oils and conditioners, too, and it's purported not to leave behind any sticky residue or streaks on the items it's used on.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Spray On Surface or Cloth

To begin using your Royal Gold solution, spray it onto the included soft microfiber cloth or directly onto the object you want to clean and polish. Unless you need to clean a very large piece of furniture, you shouldn't need to use more than one or two squirts of the solution. After you've delivered your one or two sprays, wait about a minute for the solution to settle into the cloth or the object you're working with.

  2. Wipe Gently

Next, use the microfiber cloth to gently wipe this solution along whatever object you want to clean and restore to its original level of attractiveness. Do this for at least a couple of minutes, but make sure you continue to wipe gently. You can keep wiping for as long as it takes to remove the unwanted dirt and grime from the object you're cleaning and make that object shine.

  3. Walk Away

Once you're done with your wiping, you can walk away from the surface you've just treated and move onto another one (if necessary). No rinsing with water or any other clean-up procedures will be required after you use this solution, aside from putting it away in a safe and secure place when you're done with it.

  • Compact Spray Bottle

As mentioned, this solution always comes in a compact spray bottle, so you won't need to do any potentially messy pouring or measuring before you use it. Each spray bottle is a bit smaller than a standard bottle of shampoo, which means that each one won't take up much space in a cupboard of cleaning supplies. Plus, if you need to transport your bottle away from your home, it'll likely fit into your vehicle's glove compartment or your bag. Just make sure the lid is on super-securely if you put it in a bag, or else it might drip.

  • Goes On Clear

This restoration solution comes out clear when you spray it onto something. The solution's ingredients aren't supposed to leave behind any streaks or other forms of visible residue anyhow, but its clear shade only further reduces the chances that any of this will be left behind.

  • Powerful Yet Gentle

Royal Gold is suitable for use on both hard and soft objects of any age and is powerful enough to remove decades of dirt from nearly any object. The solution's power can minimize the damage caused by smoke or sun over a number of years, yet it's gentle enough that it won't damage delicate antiques made of wood, vinyl, leather or stainless steel.

  • Soft Microfiber Cloth Included

It's acceptable to use this solution with a soft cloth that you already have around your home, but a soft orange microfiber cloth is included with each bottle of this solution. Due to the cloth's softness, you won't need to worry about it putting any scratches on pieces of furniture or other objects as you use it to wipe them. Moreover, you'll be able to use this cloth with other cleaning solutions besides Royal Gold if you choose. The light orange shade of each one will help you clearly see the dirt you're removing from each object you clean.

Positive Points

  • Mainly Natural

While it's not stated that each bottle of solution is made up of 100 percent natural ingredients, the main ingredients in each one are natural substances. These include authentic Brazilian carnauba wax, along with a variety of natural oils and conditioners that have been selected for their ability to penetrate layers of dirt and then lift them off various surfaces. Due to the lack of harsh chemicals, abrasive substances or silicones present in each bottle, this solution will be less likely to cause congestion or give you a headache in comparison to chemical-filled solutions.

  • Used By Professionals

It's claimed that this particular cleaning solution is used by professional furniture restoration specialists, which indicates that it's an effective one to use to get a restoration job done well.

  • May Lead to Less Cleaning

If you use a common type of furniture wax, it may make the surface of each piece of furniture it's used on a bit sticky, thereby making dirt and grime prone to sticking to it. You won't have that problem when you use Royal Gold to clean and polish your furniture, though, as it won't leave any stickiness behind to attract new dirt, grime, and dust. As a result, you may not need to clean your treated furniture as often as you would if you'd used another form of wax without the same oils and conditioners added.

Negative Points

  • Some May Find Bottle Small

Some users of this solution may enjoy the fact that each bottle is compact and portable, but people with a lot of cleaning and polishing to do might think each bottle's too small. Obtaining a larger bottle isn't an option, so if you think you'll need a ton of this solution, you'll have to get multiple bottles instead.

  • Not For Use On Glass

Royal Gold can be used to clean almost any surface, but it hasn't been designed for use on glass surfaces. If you were to use it on a glass surface, it may not clean it effectively, and it might even damage the glass. Consequently, you'll need to find another high-quality cleaning and polishing solution to use on your glassware.

Critical Advice

While this solution isn't harsh enough that you'll need to wear gloves while you use it, it's best to wash your hands after each use. Accidentally ingesting a trace of the ingredients from the solution probably wouldn't cause a person to have more than a mild reaction, but it's still best to avoid ingesting the solution if at all possible. You should also keep your bottle(s) away from children and pets so they don't accidentally take any of it in.

Save Money

Without a furniture restoration solution like Royal Gold, you might be tempted to go out and obtain many new pieces of furniture to replace your pieces that look old and unattractive. However, if you get your hands on a bottle of this solution instead, you'll be able to make all those pieces look nice again, and continue using them for at least a few more years.
