The Refresh Brush is a hairbrush that'll clean itself in seconds, eliminating the need to pull dull, dead hair that may be dirty or covered in styling products out of its bristles. This brush is suitable for use on both dry and wet hair of all lengths and types. It can be used by people of all ages, including kids and seniors, and although it was designed for women, men are likely to find it just as effective.
The cost of Refresh Brush is $19.99 plus $7.99 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Refresh Brush at the discounted price of only $9.99 for a total price of $37.97. This price was obtained from the As Seen on TV commercial page found at buyrefreshbrush.com; however, the company has since ceased selling Refresh Brush and has taken down the website. Refresh Brush may still be found for sale on Amazon or Ebay.
This brush's bristles are just like those on a standard paddle brush, so you can start using yours by brushing your hair as you normally would.
Once your brush has filled up with loose hair, simply press the button on the back of the handle in order to release the hair and clean the brush. It's best to stand over a wastebasket while you do so, so the loose hair won't end up on your floor or furniture.
If any loose hair is left within your brush's bristles after one press of the release button, press the button again to release the rest. It's unlikely that you'll need to do this unless you have very thick hair. After every bit of loose hair is gone from the brush, you can return to brushing your hair as you did when you started.
The Refresh Brush works by virtue of refraction technology. When you press the release button on the back of the handle, this will draw the bristles back into the barrel of the brush. Since the loose hair that has collected on the brush will no longer have anything to hang onto, it'll immediately fall off the brush. After a couple of seconds, the retracted bristles will return to their original position so you can start brushing your hair again.
Each of these brushes comes in an attractive color combination of blue, silver and black that will appeal to people of a variety of ages and genders.
This brush is designed just like a regular paddle brush and has a fairly long handle. Therefore, if your'e like most people and have used paddle brushes before, you likely won't struggle with learning how to use it. Unlike a round brush, it won't easily get tangled in long or medium-length hair.
You won't need batteries or electricity to operate this hairbrush, as the retraction mechanism within will immediately activate and do its work after a user pushes the button on the handle.
This brush will always work in a similar fashion, regardless of whether your hair is wet or dry as you brush it. It'll collect up and release stray wet hair in the same way it does dry hair.
Clean bristles lead to less opportunities for tangling, so kids who don't yet have the hand-eye coordination to use other brushes without snagging or tangling their hair are likely to enjoy using this one. Seniors with arthritis whose hands are too stiff to pick loose, dead hair from a brush will likely have great appreciation for the self-cleaning mechanism.
If you brush your hair with a hairbrush that's filled with loose, dead hair that may have been there for weeks, this can make your hair look dull and may even make it dirty. Fortunately, when you use the Refresh Brush, you'll be able to get rid of that old hair quickly, so you won't be rubbing it back over your fresh, clean locks.
