The Reach Mirror is a compact round mirror that's been designed for individuals to use while putting on makeup, tweezing facial hairs, perfecting a hairstyle and performing other grooming tasks. A flexible arm with a ball-and-socket joint is attached to each mirror and will help you swivel the mirror in a complete circle as you go about your grooming. Each mirror is meant to be attached to any flat surface, including a wet one, by its base that acts as a suction cup.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Attach to Flat Surface

First, choose a flat surface to which you'd like to attach your mirror. This could be a wall, a dresser, a bathroom cabinet, a larger mirror or whatever you'd like—it doesn't even need to be completely clean or dry. When you're choosing a surface, keep in mind that the mirror's flexible arm will extend up to 12 inches towards you or away from you. Once you've chosen a surface, push your mirror's base against that surface and turn the base to the right in order to activate the base's suctioning effect.

  2. Choose Angle

When you move your hand away from your mirror's base, it should stay steadily in place, and then you'll be ready to adjust its angle. It's capable of rotating 360 degrees on its arm, so you can swivel it to the left, to the right, upwards and downwards with just a quick, gentle pull each time. The angle you choose may depend on which grooming task you'll complete first, so it can be quickly changed whenever you'd like it to be.

  3. Select Lighting Level

If you feel the default light setting is fine, just leave your mirror the way it is. However, if you want to cycle through the three available light settings, use the small button on the outer white ring of your mirror to do so, and stop at the one you prefer. As with the angle of the mirror, your chosen light setting can also be quickly changed.

  4. Complete Grooming

After your mirror's resting at an ideal angle and is giving off an amount of light that seems acceptable to you, you'll be able to proceed with all your grooming tasks. When done, you can either leave your mirror resting or hanging wherever you've secured it, or twist the base to the left to undo the suctioning and store it in a safe place.

Features

  • White and Silver

The color combination of white and silver that each of these mirrors comes in will seem quite attractive to most people and will look good in most bedrooms or bathrooms.

  • Twelve-Inch Reach

True to its name, the Reach Mirror will reach up to 12 inches in any direction, so you won't have to stand super-close to its base in order to see yourself clearly within its glass. If you'd like to share your mirror with others in the same room, you may all want to take turns extending it in your own direction and then gently pushing it towards the next person.

  • Powerful Base

The base of this particular type of mirror is purported to be more powerful than other suction cup bases of a similar type. As a result, your mirror will be unlikely to fall off of any flat surface you attach it to and break.

  • LED Light

The ring of light located around the outside of each Reach Mirror is illuminated by bulbs of the LED variety, and these tend to last much longer than other bulbs of the same size. Some of these bulbs can burn for up to a hundred thousand hours without needing to be replaced, so the option of illuminating your mirror as you use it may remain available for years.

  • Objects Appear 10 Times Larger

When you look into this mirror, anything you see will appear 10 times larger than it actually is. This will come in handy when you're trying to do things like tweeze just a few tiny brows at once, apply a thin line of eyeliner or treat a zit that's minuscule yet sore. Plus, if you decide to stand about a foot back from your mirror while applying potent hair products like hairspray, you'll still be able to see your hair quite clearly.

  • Fog-Free

This mirror has been designed not to fog up on you, even if you leave it out while showering. That means you'll never have to stop in the middle of your beauty routine to wipe some fog off.

Positive Points

  • Good For Travel

The arm and base on each Reach Mirror add a bit of size to it that it wouldn't otherwise have, but not a whole lot. It can still be considered a compact mirror that's ideal for travel since you'll be able to fit it into virtually any suitcase or backpack. Depending on the size of your purse, it may hold one of these mirrors, too. While you're on the road, or after you arrive at your destination, you'll be able to use the mirror's base to hook it to almost anything when you need to check out your reflection.

  • Useful When Putting on Jewelry

Many of this mirror's benefits have to do with a person's beauty routine, but the mirror may also come in handy when you're putting on a piece of jewelry with a small clasp. You'll be able to stand at a comfortable distance from the mirror as it magnifies your clasp so that you can see it much more clearly than you'd be able to otherwise. Just remember that whatever you're seeing in the mirror needs to be flipped from left to right when you continue to work with it in reality.

Negative Points

  • Arm Could Break

The flexible arm on each Reach Mirror looks like it's quite sturdy, but it still could break off, depending on how hard you pull on it on a regular basis. To help prevent breakage, you'll need to be gentle and careful, and warn others who use your mirror to behave in that same way with its arm. Otherwise, you could end up having to duct-tape your mirror's arm back on, which would make it look less attractive, or end up with a round mirror that's separated from its base.

Warnings

  • Don't Use While Driving

This mirror's base will likely attach to your vehicle's dashboard or its front window, but that doesn't mean you should take your eyes off the road to use the mirror while you're driving. If you're driving and you feel the need to use it, the safe thing to do is pull over before you even set it up and use it only after you've shifted into park.
