The Power Xl Perfect Pot is a cooking device that's been designed with pasta in mind. However, aside from all types of pasta, it's also purported to be able to cook other foods, such as steamed vegetables, rice, and various soups. This device consists of a transparent, cylinder-shaped container with a mesh straining basket inside, and these things sit on top of a digital base that'll allow you to control the tool's temperature and time settings.

To get started with this device, make sure the mesh straining basket is sitting inside the transparent container, and add food (such as pasta, rice or veggies) to the basket. When adding food, you should only fill the container to the "MAX" fill line, although having long pieces of pasta poking up slightly over the line is acceptable.
Next, attach the container to the base, with the mesh basket still inside. Tip the basket's handle down, if necessary, so that you can add the container's lid to its top.
After you plug your device in, you'll be ready to start the cooking process. Some types of food have one-touch buttons that will enable the device to choose the right time and cooking temperature for you. However, if there's not a one-touch button for the type of food you're cooking, you'll need to set a time and temperature yourself and then press the "Cook" button. A half-hour (30 minutes) will be enough time for most foods.
When your cooking's done, remove the mesh basket from your device's outer container. As you do so, the food will automatically end up being strained, and any excess water will be left behind in the container. Be sure that you're wearing oven mitts as you pull out the basket and transfer the food from it to plates or dishes (or directly to your table). While you're serving your food and eating it, you can either leave your cooking device in keep-warm mode, which it'll automatically enter after cooking is done, or turn it off completely.
Having to cram long, skinny pieces of pasta into a round pot can be annoying, but that type of irritation will be a thing of the past once you start using this cooking device. Its cylinder-shaped vertical design makes it perfect for holding long, thin pieces of spaghetti, but it'll hold pasta pieces of a different shape just as nicely, too.
Each Power Xl Perfect Pot will hold up to four quarts of food at once, which is the equivalent of two or more pounds of pasta, and about three pounds of vegetables. Due to this capacity, you'll be able to use this device to cook a meal for a group of people, such as an average-sized family or a handful of coworkers.
This device will boil water, coffee, and tea, so if you think your teapot, coffee maker and kettle are taking up too much room in your kitchen, you might choose to find them new homes. If you don't want to get rid of them completely, you may at least want to relegate them to a cupboard so they're not crowding up your countertops.
After you've used your Power Xl Perfect Pot, you won't have to hunt for a large storage container for any leftovers you might end up with. Instead, you'll be able to detach your device's outer container from its base and use it as a storage container to place in your fridge. If you go this route, it's up to you whether you leave the mesh basket inside the container or not.
Once you've cooked something in the mesh basket, your device will keep it warm for up to eight hours, as long as the cooking tool is still plugged in and turned on. That means you'll be able to cook something before you leave for work, and unless you work a super-long shift, find that it's still warm when you return home at the end of the day.
If you're staying in a small dwelling, such as a dorm room, a bachelor apartment or an RV, you may not have room to keep various pots for different types of food on hand. Fortunately, you'll be able to cook almost anything within the Power Xl Perfect Pot, including hot dogs or other small pieces of meat, so it may be the only one you need. If you're living in a dorm and aren't allowed to cook in your room, you'll also be able to carry this device to a common kitchen area without a struggle.
When cooking with a traditional copper pot, you've probably found that you aren't always able to see your food very well. On the other hand, your Power Xl Perfect Pot will give you a full view of your food, from all sides and angles. That'll help you determine whether it's well-done or whether you need to cook it for a few minutes longer.
A recipe book is included with each of these devices, so if you get tired of cooking the same old dishes you've always relied on, you can consult it for more ideas. You'll also receive a stirring wand and a special attachment for brewing coffee and tea that'll help you with your food preparation needs.
With your Power Xl Perfect Pot, you'll be able to choose from a cooking temperature between 130 and 212 degrees Fahrenheit. While a temperature within this range will be adequate for cooking a wide variety of foods, there'll be a few dishes that your device just won't be able to cook properly. If you need to cook something at a temperature that's higher than 212 degrees, you'll likely need to use a stovetop or oven instead.
The outer container that makes up part of each Power Xl Perfect Pot is made of glass, not plastic, which means you'll need to be super-careful when you're carrying it around. Otherwise, unlike a traditional copper pot, it could shatter into pieces on the floor.
It may normally take you an hour or more to prepare a good-tasting dinner for your family members or friends, but you'll likely be able to cut that timeframe down by using this cooking device. It'll heat up quickly, and it'll only take 30 minutes to cook most dishes, so you may be done with your food preparation tasks in 45 minutes or less.
