The Power Shower is a showerhead that contains a special tube which makes it up to two times more powerful than a standard showerhead. Since the United States government has restricted the level of water pressure that's allowed in new homes, people living in these American homes may benefit from using this type of showerhead. However, anyone who wants a more powerful spray so it can massage their body or clean dirt off their skin and hair more quickly will also enjoy having access to this showerhead.
The cost of Power Shower is $29.95 plus $7.95 shipping, for a total price of $37.9.
When water and air are able to mix together within a vacuum intake valve, the water's velocity will automatically increase, which will increase the pressure of the water, too. This principle is commonly referred to as the hydrodynamic Venturi effect, and each Power Shower contains a special tube called a Venturi tube. This tube allows air and water to mix in this way and create the effect, which will make water rush out of each showerhead like a jet stream (as opposed to a dribble!).
You can get one of these showerheads in white, but there's also a deluxe version available in chrome, so you may want to go with that version if most of your bathroom fixtures are chrome.
When obtaining a Power Shower, you'll be able to choose between a hand-held one and one that will hang over your head like a standard showerhead does. An overhead showerhead may work best if multiple people are using the same shower. If you're the only one who uses yours, though, and you like to massage various body parts with water individually, the hand-held one may benefit you in that sense.
With this showerhead, there are five different settings to choose from, including mist, rain, sun shower, massage and pulsating massage. The first three are gentler in nature, while the final two are a bit more powerful (especially the last one). Keep in mind that regardless of which one you choose, you'll probably find it more powerful than any water stream that would come out of a standard showerhead. If you're not sure which setting to choose, you'll be able to cycle between them quickly to experiment with different ones.
You'll be able to install your Power Shower in about a minute's time, with no tools besides your two hands (and you may only need one). It hasn't been designed for use in any particular type of shower, so it'll work inside virtually any type, and it won't matter how old the plumbing system in your home is. That means that if you happen to move to a different home, you'll likely be able to use your Power Shower there just as you did at your old residence.
A showerhead that delivers only a low level of water pressure may not be able to get all the stubborn dirt off your hair or body. Fortunately, with a showerhead that's as powerful as this one, you likely won't have that problem, and you may be able to get yourself cleaner than ever. If you work at a physical job that covers you with grease and other stubborn substances, or if getting dirty is part of one of your hobbies, using this showerhead may come as a relief.
Not only will a showerhead like the Power Shower be better at removing dirt, it'll be able to remove dirt more quickly than a standard showerhead. If you tend to spend a long time in the shower, annoying others in your household or making yourself late for obligations, that may be a thing of the past with this showerhead. Aside from dirt, this showerhead will be able to remove shampoo and conditioner from your hair at a quick speed. Once you've installed it, you'll probably be in and out of the shower in five minutes each day.
A lot of people like to use water to massage their tired, sore bodies at the end of a long day, especially those people who don't have access to a professional massage therapist. If you're one of those people, you'll find that your Power Shower will be able to deliver a better body massage than an ordinary showerhead that releases just a trickle of water. For the best results possible, you should use one of the showerhead's two built-in massage settings.
It's clear that using the Power Shower instead of a standard showerhead will increase the pressure of the water that comes out of your shower. What's not completely clear is whether using this showerhead will increase the amount of water that comes out of your shower when you turn it on. If this high-pressure showerhead actually increases that amount of water, and you've already been taking quick showers with an ordinary one, this could lead to an increase in your water bill over time. Not everyone will find this important, but people who are monitoring their water usage will.
If you were to bypass the Power Shower, you could opt to have the level of water pressure in your entire home upgraded by professionals. Besides putting a big dent in your savings account, however, this might result in government sanctions, depending on where you live. By using the Power Shower instead, you'll be able to upgrade just your shower on its own in a way that won't open you up to potential sanctions.
