Power Legs is an at-home device that's meant to massage the legs and feet and provide relief from everyday aches or pains. The device has been designed with adult men and women of all ages in mind and is specified as being suitable for use with any seat, such as a chair or couch. It comes with a remote control that will allow you to change the style of massage the device is delivering without getting up from your chosen seat.
The cost of Power Legs is $159.96 and the shipping is FREE!

To get started with Power Legs, plug the device into electricity with the included extension cord and then place it flat on the floor, with the foot-shaped pads facing upward. Be sure that the toe-shaped areas of the pads are pointing away from you while the heel-shaped parts are closest to where you'll be sitting.
Next, place your feet on top of the pads, lining your toes up as closely as possible with the tops and your heels as closely as possible with the bottoms. Either reach down to turn on your device with the power button (near the tops of the pads) or use your remote control to turn it on.
As soon as you turn your Power Legs device on, its acupressure points will begin applying pressure to each foot, just above the arches on a typical foot. Meanwhile, the pads in their entirety will begin to vibrate and oscillate, thereby providing you with a foot massage. You can use your remote control to cycle between a gentle massage and a deeper, muscle-toning one if you desire, or just stick with one style. If you're satisfied with what the machine's delivering right off the bat, you may decide you don't need to change the settings.
When you get tired of having your feet massaged by this device, you can turn it off with the remote control or the built-in power button and then remove your feet from the platform. Following that, you might choose to unplug the device and slide it under a piece of furniture for storage or leave it where it is until you need it again. Even if you leave it where it is, it's best to unplug it from the wall, though.
Each Power Legs device is just a bit bigger than a standard weigh scale, making it a fairly lightweight and compact machine. It won't take up much space while being stored under a bed, sofa or chair in your home, or under your desk at the office. If you want to travel with this machine, simply coil the slim extension cord around it and place it somewhere secure where it can rest in a flat position in your vehicle.
Some devices like this are made for people of a particular age group, or of a particular gender, but this one can be used in the same way by adults of all ages and genders. That means you may be able to get one device for an entire family or household and share it among yourselves, depending on who needs it the most on a particular day.
You'll be able to use your Power Legs machine while you're sitting in virtually any seat, from a cushion on a soft sofa to your hard desk chair at work. Therefore, you won't have to alter your work or leisure routine in order to fit in more time with this device. Instead, you'll be able to do almost anything, from reading a book to texting to typing, while allowing it to give your feet a massage.
The user manual that's included with each device will also provide you with instructions for ways you can massage your thighs and calves with the machine. While the default use for the tool is giving oneself a foot massage, if you follow these guidelines, you'll be able to provide relief to both of your legs as a whole. Keep in mind, however, that doing these alternative exercises may require you to leave your original sitting position.
Workers who stand for up to hours in a day, especially in uncomfortable footwear such as high heels, may benefit greatly from using this type of device. When you arrive home with sore feet and calves, you can just whip off your shoes and then give yourself at least 10 minutes with your Power Legs machine before moving on to other things. You may find that after starting to use the machine regularly, your aches and pains while you're on the job don't come as quickly or as strongly.
If the vast majority of your days have been spent with sore legs and feet, due to your occupation, age or fitness level, you may have stopped doing some physical activities you used to enjoy. Fortunately, after rejuvenating your legs with Power Legs for just minutes per day, you might find that you have the energy to pick up these hobbies (like sports or gardening) again. If you've got kids or pets to take care of, you might also notice that you have more energy for their daily care that you did before.
Power Legs may work for some kids whose feet are as large as a typical adult's. However, it may not work effectively for kids with smaller feet. The acupressure points on the pads may hit each foot at the wrong place, potentially causing discomfort instead of pain reduction. As a result, if a child under your care is interested in using one of these devices, it's best to talk to your family doctor first.
Many people may find the orange, black, and gray color scheme that this device comes in fairly pleasing. If you can't stand how it looks, though, you'll have to either put up with it or look for a different foot-massaging device, as this one comes in only one color combination.
If leg and foot pain is not relieved by simply resting, it may be a sign that more measures should be taken to avoid developing further complications such as plantar fasciitis and varicose veins, which could be detrimental to a person’s overall health. According to a new research study by the American Society of Vascular Surgery, approximately 7% of the American population suffers with varicose veins. While periodic stretching of the legs may help to ease the pain, massaging devices comparable to power legs have proved to be even more effective at relieving aches and pains by massaging the legs and feet. These devices have become popular, especially because of the ease of use among those who do not have time to exercise or attend a massage therapist. With this device, a person needs not to go to the gym or engage in a difficult exercise routine to ease leg or foot pains.
There has been a longstanding debate as to whether these leg and feet massaging devices which cost a hundred dollars or more each, are worth the added expense or not. Some people have even argued that the same effect of an electronic foot massager can be achieved by simply walking. This has led to the majority of the people wanting to know if this device is as effective as portrayed in most of its advertisements. Can it really relieve them of the leg pain that they have been forced to live with for long, or, is it just another gimmick?
Before a person decides to use power legs, they need to understand how it works. This device comes with a power cable that is plugged into a standard electrical socket. It also comes with a remote control to switch it on and off and to select the vibration intensity as desired. One is required to sit comfortably on a couch or chair and place their feet on the device's knobbed footrest. As the machine vibrates, it massages the feet and provides re-energization and restoration benefits that were mentioned above. This leg and foot massager occupies very little space and is only slightly more than what a pair of shoes would occupy. One of the key features that separate Power Legs from other similar massaging devices is that it has several intensity levels and three different pre-sets for advanced, intermediate, and beginners. Is it worth the money? The short answer is yes; however, there are alternative devices on the market.
Power legs massager is ideal for both supervised children and most adults regardless of gender or age who want to refresh, restore, and re-energize their feet, legs, or other major muscles. The foot massager is designed to be used by anybody weighing up to 600 pounds. However, the user must not stand on it while using it as the extra pressure applied in the device may lead to malfunction or out-right destruction. A person weighing up to 600lbs only places a fraction of weight on the unit while sitting in a chair. It is quite likely that even a 200-300lb person standing on the device would cause significant damage to the Power Legs massager.
The unit can be used on different parts of the body, including feet, calf, Achilles, thighs, and lower back. For the lower back, the machine is placed on the back of the chair and the user leans against it. In all of the aforementioned areas of the body, it is clear to see that a person’s full body weight would not be applied to the device.
As most people buy the device for health and fitness benefits, the manufacturers have gone to great lengths to enumerate some of the countless benefits that users can derive from using Power Legs. However, not all benefits are backed up with scientific evidence; one that is though is vibration therapy’s effect on Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOM). According to a study published in the Journal of Clinical Diagnostic Research, vibration and massage are equally effective in prevention of DOM. The study goes on to state that “vibration therapy shows clinically early reduction of pain and is effective in decreasing the level of LDH in 48 hours post-exercise periods.”
Vibration therapy improves blood flow and circulation in the body. The vibration stimulates multiple areas on the feet, most prominently the soles, which in turn, accelerate the circulation of the blood in the feet resulting in smoother circulation of blood throughout the entire body. Increased blood flow and circulation means that nutrients can now be delivered to the aching or sore muscles, improving the overall muscle health.
Use of Power Legs by Power Fit relieves whole body pain. This means that the device can be applied to the feet to relieve sore muscles in other parts of the body (yes, admittedly this does sound like witchcraft). It works by decreasing the presence of the cortisol, a notorious stress hormone in the body. According to Chinese Naturopathic Medicine, vibration therapy can be used to relieve body pains caused by clotting / clogging. The increased blood circulation explained in the preceding paragraph could reduce such clotting and relieve body aches and pains.
To get as many benefits from this device as possible, you should take your shoes off and use it with bare feet. You can use it with flat shoes if you really want to, but then the acupressure points won't be coming in direct contact with your feet. Consequently, they may be less effective at delivering relief from discomfort. Using this type of device with just socks is generally not a good idea since they could cause your feet to slide off the pads, which would interfere with your massage.
While routine exercising followed by concentrated massage is a widely accepted and proven method to relieve pain emanating from the feet and legs, vibration devices such as power legs can also produce a similar effect. Electric feet massagers such as this one come in handy for those on a tight schedule who must often multi-task or who are restricted to remaining their home for one reason or another. There is no doubt that vibration therapy, which is produced by Power Legs, can relieve aches and pains not only in the feet and legs but also throughout the rest of the body by improving blood circulation.

If you try to return this. Good luck. I purchased this from tri star company direct and they are experts at avoiding returns and making it so difficult to return the machine.
