Features

  • Internal Fan

The internal fan acts as a convection oven. It cooks food by circulating the hot air around the food cooking it very quickly and evenly.

  • Two Sizes

The Power Air Fryer Pro comes in two different sizes: 6 quart or 8 quart. This ensures that you can purchase a size that will work for your family.

  • 8 Presets

There are 8 preset cooking buttons that automatically adjust the time and the temperature for the specific food listed.

  • Stainless Steel Racks

The oven comes with three stainless steel mesh racks to ensure good airflow and that the food is cooked from top to bottom. The racks are dishwasher safe.

  • Adjustable Temperature/Time

If you are not using the included preset buttons, the oven's temperature and timer are completely manually adjustable with the push of a button.

  • Drip Rack

Included is a nonstick removable and dishwasher safe drip rack to make cleanup easier.

  • Rotisserie

There is an included kit to change the oven into a rotisserie. A whole chicken or other meats and vegetables can be skewered and cooked that way.

  • Recipes

There are three separate recipe books included with the oven: rotisserie, oven and dehydrator. They also include cooking times for various other foods.

Positive Aspects

  • Compact

The Power Air Pro is a compact and convenient appliance to use in place of an oven. It does not take up much counter space and is ideal for quick meals or small spaces.

  • Doesn't Heat Up Kitchen

The oven does not throw off a lot of heat so this would be ideal on hot days when you don't want to turn on your oven and heat up your entire kitchen.

  • Versatile

This appliance can be used to cook a lot of different food items in different ways. It replaces an oven, toaster, rotisserie and fryer.

  • Lower Fat

The use of excessive amounts of added oil is not necessary for this appliance. Frying chicken and other meats can be done and a crispy coating achieved without the use of an oil fryer.

How It Works

The Power Air Fryer Pro uses a 1700 watt fan and heater to cook food. It heats up the air quickly and blows it around the food much like a convection oven. They claim that the technology used will result in evenly cooked and crisped food every time. The oven comes with three racks that can be utilized all at once, but that will severely limit air circulation.

Save Time

This multi-use oven will save a lot of time and effort in the kitchen. Since it is able to cook all types of different foods and in different ways, it replaces multiple appliances. It utilizes convection cooking techniques, which cuts down on cooking time.

Negative Aspects

  • Overcrowding

To ensure even cooking, you can't put too much food in the oven. Cooking large quantities of food, even though they say it can be done is not recommended.

  • Not Very Powerful

Since the oven is a countertop electric appliance, the oven's heating element and fan are not very powerful. It is marketed as an air fryer, but the fan does not circulate hot air as forcefully and efficiently as a true air fryer.

  • Small

Even when purchasing the larger 8-quart sized oven, you may not have enough room to cook all the food that you need to. This oven would not be ideal for a larger family or use at a get-together.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Spread Out Food

Since the basic cooking method is airflow, spread out your food in a thin layer with nothing touching each other.

  2. Don't Overcrowd

Even though they state that the oven can be filled to capacity, take care not to put in too much food at one time. The use of all three racks, unless spaced out greatly is not recommended.

  3. Stir and Rotate

While cooking, especially when the oven is full, make sure to stir and rotate the racks often through the cooking process.

Good Investment

The Power Air Fryer Pro is a very convenient and versatile appliance. With care and some planning ahead, it can be a very useful addition to any kitchen. As long as quantities are limited, the food you place in the oven will be cooked quickly and efficiently with little to no added oil. The benefits of having an air fryer, rotisserie and dehydrator all packed into one is very appealing. Additionally, the recipe books included for all three modes of the appliance are extremely helpful. They are a great resource and a good jumping off point for creating your own recipes.

Disappointed

After only using a couple of times, we got an e3 error and the air fryer would shut off. I tried contacting customer service with no response. If you email they will get back with you in up 2 days. I would not recommend this to anyone, I have seen smaller and better ones.

Would not Recommend

I bought this 3 months ago and enjoyed it for a while. I tried to use it last night and the fan no longer works. I called and was told that the warranty expired and I was out of luck. I haven't used this thing 15 times and it's a boat anchor. Wasted 125.00.

Some Uses are Great Others are Bad

I tried it on many things and it was great. Even baking fries in the rotisserie basket was OK.
By the time I tried and tried again to use the rotisserie with chicken or sheesh kebab, the rotisserie would not rotate. I think there was a problem with the metal rod fitting tightly because it was slipping. I called the company and they said that because it passed the sixty days warranty the can do nothing about. Well, it took me over sixty days to finish trying. They wanted me to pay for a new rod with no guarantee that it will work. Finally, now I discovered that others are selling it at a fraction of the price I paid.

Don't get Burnt

When using multi-levels with the air fryer you can burn yourself on the door trying to get rack out of the lowest level. I get around this problem by taking the front door off when accessing a rack on the lower level. The door comes off the air fryer when it is opened 45 or 50 degrees. Other than that I have had no problems.

New Years Eve

Was so excited about using my air fryer for only the second time. Prepped my drumettes ahead of time for New Years Eve, prepped my coconut shrimp. had my taquitos at the ready. 45 minutes before guests were to arrive, I popped my first batch of drumettes into the air fryer, plugged it in, tapped the power button, waited, tap the power button again, waited, double-tap the power button, unplugged the unit and plugged it back in, long story short, had to do everything in the oven and it was not great!

Disappointment

This air fryer was purchased for me when I had an operation and cooking was difficult. The family member purchased a second for themselves via the TV commercial. Both units after a few uses have doors that will not latch for some reason. The product looks good and has great choices but if you can't's get the door to stay closed obviously you can't use it. I have since found the unit for sale at different locations for much less money.

Only Complaint

I really like this product and I am having fun trying new stuff in it. However, the only thing I do not like about it is that the catch pan on the bottom bubbled and peeled even though we followed the directions for washing. Now we have a back and silver one. I am a bit scared to order a replacement part for fear of it happening again. Anyone else has this problem?
