The Potty Putter is a kit that will enable you to practice golfing indoors—while on the toilet. While it's been designed with busy men in mind, women and even children can use it, too. The kit's main pieces include two golf balls, a golf club, a putting cup with a flag, and a miniature putting green made of professional-grade material. All you'l need to do is set it up in front of your toilet, and you'll be able to practice your swing when you can't get to the golf course.
The cost of Potty Putter is $19.99 plus $7.99 shipping, for a total price of $27.98. Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page: buypottyputter.com
To start using one of these kits, place the miniature putting green ( which is about the size of a bath mat ) in front of your toilet. Then, after making sure your small club and golf balls are at hand, set up the putting cup with the flag. It's best to place this cup somewhere near the edge of the putting green that's farthest from your seat.
While you're on the toilet, you can use your small golf club and the two golf balls within your kit to practice your putting, by aiming to hit the balls into the putting cup. Continue this for as long as you'd like, or until your family members or roommates yell at you to get out of the bathroom!
Once you're done practicing for the time being, and want to leave the bathroom, pack up your entire kit and store it somewhere for the next use. A bathroom cabinet or drawer may be a good storage place. If you're the only one who uses your bathroom, you might choose to leave the kit in front of your toilet, but if you share a bathroom, the other users likely won't appreciate that.
This kit is compact and will only take up two or three feet of space in front of your toilet, so you'll be able to move it around without difficulty, if needed. Besides transferring it between bathrooms in your home, you may want to pack it up and bring it to a hotel, your office, or your cottage, too.
The material used to make the putting green within each Potty Putter kit is the same material used to make the green found at many miniature golf courses. Therefore, it's likely to be durable and remain smooth, regardless of how many times you hit a ball across it.
Besides the main parts of each kit that you can use to practice playing golf, each kit also includes a "Do Not Disturb" sign that you'll be able to attach to your bathroom door. Even when you're not golfing on the toilet, you may want to use this sign to signify that the bathroom's not free.
These kits have been designed for bathroom use, but if you'd prefer to practice golfing in another room of your home, that's fine, too. Beside your bed or under your computer desk are two other great places for practice that don't involve the john.
If your golf game needs work, but you don't have hours to spend on the golf course, using a Potty Putter is a wonderful way to get in some extra practice. When you do show up at the golf course again, your opponents may be puzzled as to how you've gotten so much better since your last session.
One of these kits will come in especially handy if you live in a cold and / or snowy area in which outdoor golf courses close for the winter. If you don't feel like going to an indoor driving range or miniature golf course, or you don't have any of those near you, you won't need to completely give up golf for the season.
Anyone who has a significant other, friend, or family member who is enthusiastic about golf will likely find that one of these kits makes a great gift on any occasion. It's also a gift that's likely to get a laugh from others at a birthday or holiday party.
The putting green included within a Potty Putter kit isn't anywhere near the size of the green on a golf course. Even if you're able to consistently aim your ball into your putting cup at home, there's a chance this won't happen when you need to hit a ball further on a real course.
Obtaining one of these golfing kits may lead to a lot of wasted time at home or at the office. You may end up becoming so preoccupied with your putting technique that you find it hard to come out of the bathroom, which could anger others around you. Plus, if you introduce coworkers, roommates or family members to the fun of the Potty Putter, they may end up wasting time and becoming unproductive along with you.
Make sure, if you use your Potty Putter kit while standing up in your bathroom, that you close your toilet's lid before you start putting. Otherwise, if your aim isn't great, one of your balls could end up in your toilet and could even get stuck in the toilet's chute.
