Portion Right is a system of five color-coded rings that enable you to correctly portion your food so you can lose weight and keep it off without counting calories. There are rings for portioning vegetables, carbs, proteins, fruits, and fats. These are accompanied by an eating plan that will tell you how many portions from each group to eat per day in order to reach your goal weight. It doesn't matter how much a particular food item weighs, as long as it will fit in the appropriate ring. All five rings are safe to put in the microwave and the dishwasher, and they're free of the potentially harmful chemical bpa.
By using Portion Right, you'll be able to avoid yo-yo dieting, weighing your food before you eat it, and eating pre-packaged meals created specifically for people who are on a diet. You'll still be able to enjoy your favorite foods, without cutting out any complete food group such as carbs, as Portion Right's rings will help you serve yourself a healthy amount of any food. Plus, the eating guide that comes with the system will offer you tons of suggestions as to what to eat. If you use all five rings at once on your lunch or dinner plate, you'll ensure that you're eating a balanced meal and are fulfilling your dietary needs.
The cost of Portion Right is $10.00 plus $7.95 shipping. The special TV offer allows a free gift which you will receive by paying an extra fee of $4.95 for a total price of $22.90.

To use the Portion Right system's colored rings, you'll need to first take a look at the included Simplicity Eating Plan. This will offer you a list of foods that fall under each of the five food groups that the rings represent. Once you choose a certain food off the list to eat, you'll have to see if the amount you have will fit in the corresponding ring. If not, you'll need to pare it down until it fits, or you'll be overeating, according to this diet plan. With every food you choose to consume, if you just repeat this same process, you'll always be eating the correct portions.
Some people try to lose weight by counting calories, but it can be time-consuming and annoying to have to record the amount of calories in every food item you eat. Plus, if you're eating at a restaurant or at someone else's house, nutrition information for each type of food being served will not always be readily available. However, if you bring your Portion Control rings along, it won't be as difficult for you to measure your food intake with those.
Some diet plans require participants to weigh their food, but this can also be time-consuming, and you'll need to obtain a scale in order to do so. Moreover, as with nutrition information, a scale won't always be readily available if you're eating away from home. If you choose to carry one with you, you may feel awkward doing so, while Portion Right's five rings are more inconspicuous.
There are diet plans out there that will provide you with specific pre-packaged meals that are low in calories, but eating the same few meals over and over again can get tedious. Furthermore, by restricting yourself to certain foods, you might find yourself feeling left out at social events that revolve around the sharing of meals.
If you're going to be microwaving your food, you can use one or more of your rings to portion it, and then leave each ring you've used on your plate as you heat your meal. This will enable you to keep your plate tidy, and keep your food groups separate so you can see exactly what you're eating.
It's not difficult to clean the Portion Right rings, as they can be put in the dishwasher.
Some plastics contain the potentially harmful chemical bpa, but Portion Right rings are free of this substance.
All five rings are small enough for you to carry in a purse, briefcase, or backpack when you're going to be enjoying a meal away from home.
When you use your Portion Right rings, you'll be able to enjoy foods from any food group, even carbohydrates and fats. You won't need to stop eating foods like burgers and desserts, as long as each serving fits in the appropriate ring without spilling over the edges.
The Portion Right program works best when, besides making healthy food choices, you're getting regular exercise.
You should talk to your doctor before you start using the Portion Right system, regardless of whether you have any medical conditions.
