How to Use (Step by Step)
- Fold Out Steps
Your Popup Pet Steps will come fully assembled, so all you'll need to do is fold them out when you want to allow your pet to climb up the set of stairs. To fold them out, gently pull on the handle at the top of the set, and they should unfold themselves within seconds. You may have to give them a helping hand to enable them to completely fold out, by gently pulling on each individual step.
- Set up on Flat Surface
After making sure that the handle you were holding onto is pointing downward, set up your pet's steps on a flat surface beneath a sofa, a bed, a car door, or any other raised platform. Logically speaking, out of all three steps, the highest step should be sitting closest to the platform with little to no space in between.
- Have Pet Climb Steps
Next, invite your dog or cat to climb the three steps that make up each set of Popup Pet Steps. You may have to place them on the first step to start with and mimic a climbing motion with your hands to get them to climb. Once they do start climbing, they'll be able to reach the sofa, bed, or alternative platform that you want them to sit or stand upon.
- Encourage Pet to Climb Down
When your pet is done sitting or standing within a particular raised space, encourage them to climb down the steps that they climbed up to reach it.
