The Polargel Wrap is an elastic cooling wrap for men and women of all ages and activity levels. You can wrap this device around any area of an arm, a leg or your lower back, and it'll help reduce any pain, strain or inflammation that you're experiencing. This wrap is ideal for casual and competitive athletes, but will also help relieve the pain and stiffness that's often caused by arthritis. It comes in an attractive bright blue shade and is reusable.
The cost of Polargel Wrap is $14.99 plus $4.99 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Polargel Wrap at the discounted price of only $4.99 for a total price of $24.97.
Each elastic wrap is infused with cooling gel that will immediately begin to cool the area of your body that it's wrapped around, by evaporating the heat surrounding it. At the same time, it'll compress the muscle or joint at the desired level, depending on how tightly you've wrapped the device around yourself ( you'll get a stronger level of compression with a tighter wrap ). The cooling and compression, working in tandem, will soothe pain and reduce any other uncomfortable symptoms of injury, strain or overexertion.
To start using your Polargel Wrap, pull it out of the bag that it's come in and wrap it around the body part that's giving you trouble, such as a knee, ankle or shoulder. As long as it's stored in the bag, it'll stay cool, so you won't need to refrigerate it before wrapping. Make sure that the wrap is completely wrapped around the desired body part without any loose ends hanging down.
This wrap will stay cool for up to two hours, so you'll be able to leave it wrapped around you for up to that long. However, you should notice that the muscle or joint it's wrapped around is starting to feel better well before two hours are up.
Once you're done using your wrap for the time being, unwrap it slowly from your body and put it back in the bag it came in for storage. While it's in the bag, the cooling gel within will rehydrate and reactivate so that it can do its job effectively the next time. You can put the stored wrap in the fridge if you want to, but it's not at all necessary.
Each Polargel Wrap comes in an electric blue shade, one that people of both genders tend to find attractive.
Each wrap will stick to itself as you wrap it around a body part, so you won't need to make use of any tape, pins or other fastening devices to get one to stay put.
This wrap is small enough for you to transport almost anywhere. It'll even fit into a large pocket, and the storage bag that it comes with will keep it clean and dry while it enables the gel within to be reactivated.
No odor will be created by the Polargel Wrap as it does its work, nor will it start to melt and drip everywhere, creating a mess in your home, car or anywhere else. Even as the gel within loses its coolness, it won't get drippy.
You'll be able to use this wrap on any body part that can be wrapped, such as the shoulder, elbow, wrist, thigh, knee, ankle, calf or lower back. If you have more than one body part troubling you, you may want to obtain multiple wraps and wrap up more than one. Each wrap is long enough that, even if you have large body measurements, it'll still wrap around any of them at least once.
If you're an athlete or work at a physical job, wearing one of these wraps on a troublesome body part will likely improve your performance, since people normally perform better when they feel better. The comfort that one of these wraps will provide an injured or strained body part may even help you perform better at a desk job, since your pain will no longer be a distraction.
Unless you cover this wrap up with clothing ( and it's thin enough that you can ), its bright blue shade will make its presence quite obvious to virtually everyone around. That means everyone will know you're dealing with some sort of injury, pain or strain, which could be embarrassing or work to your disadvantage in an athletic event. To make it more discreet, it would be nice if this wrap came in a nude shade for Caucasians and a brown shade for darker-skinned people.
A lot of people use ice packs to relieve muscle or joint pain or strain, but these won't give you the 360 degrees of relief that a Polargel Wrap will. Plus, ice packs tend to drip after about a half hour's time, and you'll have to hold yours in place, while wearing a wrap will leave your hands free.
Many athletes like to use soothing, cooling creams for the muscles, but these often have unpleasant odors and can feel gooey and gross on the hands.
Do not run a Polargel Wrap through the washing machine with your clothing, as this may cause it to lose its effectiveness. If you absolutely must wash it, just rinse it with cold water.
