Pet Perfection is a compact, hand-held device that's been designed to stop your dog from engaging in undesirable behaviors such as chewing valuable objects, barking loudly at night, or jumping up on your friends. It's specified that when you press the button on the front of the device, it'll emit an attention-getting sound that only dogs (and cats) can hear, but also isn't loud enough to hurt their ears. The goal is that when your pet hears the noise, this will cause them to stop behaving in an undesirable way.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Have Device Ready

When you're spending time with your pet, it's best if you have your Pet Perfection device nearby and ready at hand. That way, if you observe them engaging in some sort of bad behavior, such as your cat clawing your curtains or your dog chewing on one of your ties, you'll be able to use it.

  2. Press Button

If your dog or cat stops behaving properly, simply pick up your device and press the button on the front once. You must keep the device as close to you as possible, without putting it anywhere near your pet's ear(s). They'll hear an attention-grabbing sound when you press the button, while you and any other humans nearby will hear nothing. After a few minutes, if your dog or cat doesn't start behaving, you can press the button to cause your device to emit sound again.

  3. Reward Pet

Once your pet responds to the sound of the Pet Perfection device and starts acting in an acceptable manner, it's a good idea to put the device aside and reward them. Their reward could be anything from a scratch behind the ears to a special treat. In the event that they don't respond to the device, don't aggravate them by pressing its button more than a couple of times—just try the discipline method again later, when necessary.

How It Works

A Pet Perfection device will help you train your dog or cat to behave properly in any environment without causing them any sort of pain or disturbing other people. When pressed, the device will emit a sound that's silent to humans but can be heard by canines or felines. The sound will be loud enough to get a pet's attention and cause them to stop and re-evaluate what they're doing, but it won't be loud enough to traumatize them. Eventually, the dog or cat should automatically change their behavior after hearing the sound, especially if they're rewarded for doing so.

Features

  • Compact

Each black Pet Perfection device is actually smaller than a standard smartphone, so when you don't have yours resting on a table beside you, you'll be able to carry it in any average-sized pocket. It'll also fit in a backpack, a briefcase, a handbag, or the glove compartment of your vehicle. Therefore, you shouldn't have a problem bringing the device with you out into your yard or to any public place away from your dwelling. You should consistently be able to hold it in just one hand while operating it, too.

  • Cordless

This type of pet-training device is cordless, which means you won't have to plug it into electricity whenever you want to use it. You'll be able to pull it out and press its button immediately, when needed, instead of looking for an available electrical outlet and stretching out an extension cord.

  • Loop on Bottom

Each Pet Perfection device has been outfitted with a small metal loop on the bottom. You'll be able to use this loop to hang your device from a small hook or attach it to a keychain or a lanyard. If you tend to lose track of small devices in and around your home, this may help you remain aware of where it is at all times.

Positive Points

  • Can Make Home Guest-friendly

Some friends or family members may not want to come to your home if your pet leaps upon, scratches, or bites them while they're trying to have a good time. The same goes for home maintenance professionals who may suffer the same fate. If you've got a pet who tends to engage in unruly behavior around the people who enter your home, though, you can make the home more guest-friendly by using a Pet Perfection device. Once you use the device's sound to train your dog or cat to stop doing irritating things, your guests should be happier.

  • Helps Preserve Objects

A dog or cat may damage certain objects around your house by chewing on them or tearing at them with their claws. They may also enter areas that they shouldn't, such as a room full of breakables, and damage things in there. Luckily, you can train your dog or cat not to enter certain areas or pick certain objects up in their mouth by using a Pet Perfection device. Anytime you see them in the area or picking up an unwanted object, just press the button on the device. The emitted sound should cause them to halt what they're doing.

  • Won't Disturb Neighbors

Pets will often respond to verbal commands, especially if you shout, but shouting at your pet can disturb your neighbors, especially at night. In fact, shouting at your dog to stop barking while everyone's in bed could be more annoying for your neighbors to hear than just the barking alone. For that reason, it's a good idea that your Pet Perfection device will help you train your pet to behave without yelling or making any noises that humans can hear.

Negative Points

  • Could Bother Other Animals

While using your Pet Perfection device to discipline and train your pet won't bother the humans in your immediate area, it could bother other animals. If you live in close proximity to your neighbors, your neighbor's dogs or cats could hear the device and then modify their behavior unnecessarily. Similarly, if you're in a public place, such as a dog park, another pet owner may get annoyed if their pet hears your device going off and responds by changing their behavior.

Warnings

  • Use From a Few Feet Away

When you're using this type of device to train your pet to engage in certain behaviors, stay a few feet away and don't move the device close to their face or body. This could be seen as an act of aggression from you, which could hinder obedience, and you shouldn't be delivering the sound directly into an animal's ear, anyway. The device's sound will be attention-grabbing when heard from a few feet back, but it could be scary for your pet and physically disturb their ears when heard from only inches away.
