The Perma Shades infomercial demonstrates how tough these sunglasses really are. Their indestructibleness is first demonstrated by a child who is bending and twisting them in every possible direction and yet they never break. Everything is taken a step further when the sunglasses are shown being run over by a 4000 pound vehicle, driven over by a bicycle, stepped on and shot at using a 12 gage shotgun without. Even after all that, the sunglasses remain intact. It is unbelievable the amount of trauma these glasses are built to withstand but they really will last longer than any other pair of sunglasses you have ever owned.
The primary difference between Perma Shades and its competitors is the material that the glasses are made out of. Traditional glasses are made out of hard plastic and metal. Both of these materials are not durable and can break easily. Perma Shades are made with flex-bend technology making the glasses flexible instead of stiff and delicate.
