How It Works

Perfect Formula is purportedly a luxury nail care line which is created to treat the most common nail issues such as damage, peeling, or brittle weak nails. Contained in the kit if a set of products which you apply to your nails like polish, but they strengthen and condition the nails after each application so that your nails end up healthier. It is recommended that you apply the Pink Gel Coat or Clear Gel Coat only once or twice per week. You should remove any other nail polish from your nails before you apply it each time.

How it's Different from Competitors

The Gel Coat Color in this set has a special strengthening formula but also contains color. You do not need a top coat or base coat as such, which means you get stronger nails while cutting down on the time it takes to achieve a perfect color.

How to Use (Step by Step)

1. Gel Coat or Pink Coat

   Apply one brush stroke on each side of your nail and then put one brush stroke down the middle. Allow your nails to dry to self-level. If you are applying the nail polish on top of the strengthening base coat, then apply as many repeated layers as needed to achieve the color you want.

2. Drying Drops

   Perfect Formula’s special Quick Dry Drops contain Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E so that they can better protect your nails. What’s more, after you have applied the nail color of your choosing, these cut the drying time in half, preventing smudges. You can use them on your hands or feet just placing a drop on each nail and letting it move across the nails.
   
   These are not necessary to use if you are only using Clear Gel Coat, Pink Gel Coat or one of the Perfect Formula Gel Coat Colors. Only in cases where you apply another brand of nail polish on over the gel coat should you use them.

3. Daily Moisture

   To use the Daily Moisture, you want to apply it to your natural nails or apply it on top of the Gel Coat or nail color polish after the color has dried. Brush it on top of your nails, then under the nails, and along the cuticles. You want to do this daily in order to get the healthy balance in your cuticles and nails. However, avoid doing this application immediately before you put on any other Gel Coat products or when your nails are still wet.

4. To Remove

   To remove the gel coat products use normal nail polish, acetone in particular. You will not need to soak to get the polish off.

Tips & Tricks

1. Thinning the Products

   If the product inside of your bottles becomes too thick you can add one or two drops of nail polish remover, then shake it for a proper mixture. Keeping the bottle sealed will help to keep it thinned down. That said, life expectancy for these products is two years if you don’t open them and one year once you do open them.

2. Top Coats

   You can use the Clear Gel Coat as your topcoat if you want. It is created to be a basecoat but it also contains the properties you would want in a topcoat. The company recommends that you use the “My Favorite Topcoat” bottle if you want a high-gloss finish that lasts for a long time. You do not need to use base coats or top coats when you are using Perfect Formula Gel Coat Color. These formulas work as base coats, topcoats, nail strengtheners, and nail color at the same time.

Warnings

• Formaldehyde

  The Gel Coat from the Perfect Formula kit contains trace amounts of formaldehyde. However, it is less than. 04% which is five times less than FDA rules.
