We often use our feet on a daily basis yet often do not give much thought to foot care. Then again, why is it important to ensure the beauty and well-being of our feet?
The degree of skin flaking and hardness varies among people. It is more of a scale rather than a condition that people have. Therefore, what may look moderately flaky for one person may be extremely rough for another.
Rough patches of skin are usually yellow and often occur around the heels or balls of the foot. The skin may be less sensitive to touch and thicker than normal. Calluses often form when the skin rubs against shoes as you walk. They can also be caused by walking barefoot for prolonged periods.

On my first use, the one emery pad supplied broke in half. With no way to locate anyone who sells pad refills, this is now just a useless piece of Junk. Without easy access to more emery pads, I recommend you don't buy this device. I don't know what they expect you to do when the one supplied pad wears out or breaks (like my case).
