Just Follow the Instructions
I am sorry for anyone who hasn't got results or has managed to burn themselves, but honestly folks, you must follow the instructions to the letter. If you buy a blow torch it's incumbent on you not to direct the flame in the right direction. By the same token, the hair remover will work and not burn you IF and only IF you hold it at the exact right angle, which is shown when the red light comes on. If the red light isn't on, then the angle is too shallow and it won't work and you may slightly burn yourself. The maker is not liable if users misuse the product and hurt themselves, because they have provided advice on how to do it properly. They would not still be in business otherwise. You must also be patient.
I've had one for 8 years and it still does a good job. It doesn't hold its charge as well as it used to, but that's only to be expected in an old device. In the past, I've spent a fortune on electrolysis and laser treatment, etc on my face. But as you age the hair does grow back. I'm now 65 the Pearl does a more than adequate job in keeping my "stubble" at bay and I have an electronic tweezer to zap the more stubborn dark hairs that pop up now and then.
