The creator of the product sought, for two decades, on how to improve commercial projects on homes of any size. He wanted to decrease wasted time, wasted money, and wasted paint. That is why he created this painting solution.
This palette is something you can hold in your hand. Whether you are doing large paint projects with one big color or small touch ups with lots of colors, this unit will keep them nearby.
This unit makes painting easier. Hold up to 12 ounces at a time, or place multiple colors on one palette without them mixing. Perfect for all home projects.
This particular unit varies from other things on the market because most palettes are palette styled things are designed for painting as a hobby, on things like canvas or wood. Painting on such things require only small amounts at a time. Moreover, the palettes that are on the market are not conducive to roller brushes which people use for home painting. Without a raised edge, the paint is likely to roll right off. Moreover, when you are done, the paint that is left becomes wasted.
This particular design is a great way to save money because of the unique padding. It keeps the paint where you need it, so that you can replenish your rolling brush. Then, when you are done with the paint, you can just scrap it back inside the can without issue. Doing so saves you a lot of money on paint that often times is wasted. When you use other things you end up pouring paint into it, hoping it is the right amount. If you have too much left over, then it often goes to waste.
Technically this could save you time if your project is one where having a can of paint nearby is not enough. You might be painting high up on your walls, unable to bring your heavy paint can with you. The flat containers inside of which paint rests can also be a pain because they need to be set down somewhere to really be used. This can all be time consuming because you are either trying to balance something, climbing up and down stairs a lot, or anything in between. By being able to hold the palette in your hand you save yourself the time you might otherwise spend getting up and down a ladder.
Pour up to 12 ounces of paint onto the Paint2It.
Spread the paint around so that you can access it evenly and equally.
Then dip in whatever brushes or rollers you are using and start painting.
Any paint you no longer want, you can put right back into the can with the included squeegee. If you are not done with your project, use the bag to seal the paint for a bit while you rest.
When you are cleaning up and want to remove the extra paint, apply firm pressure using the included squeegee. Push all the leftover paint back into the can. Once that is done, rinse Paint2It with cold water until you see the water run clear.
There are different grades to the Paint2It. If you get the "pro" grade, then you can reuse it as many times as you want. However, if you get the "plus" grade you can use it up to three times.
Please note that if you are using oil based paints or stains, then you might only be able to use it once.
If you are using the "pro" version you can use acrylic paint, latex paint, silicon paint, vinyl paint, or water based paints. For those using the "plus" version you can use stains, vinyl paints, oil based paints, water based paints, acrylic paints, silicon paints, or latex paints.
When you use the Paint2It you can use any type of paint brush or paint roller on it.
The "pro" version is meant to be used with water based paints, vinyl paints, or silicon paints. For this reason, the tray comes with a professional liner refill. Wash it after every use and you are able to re-use it as often as you want so long as it is maintained and cleaned often. For people using oil based paints, it is recommended that you pick the "plus" version because this tray has disposable liner refills which are replaced after each use. Buying "plus" and not using oil based paints means you can use it up to three times.
If you choose to pause your painting in the middle of a job you can store the unit inside the resealable bag for up to 2 months. Whatever paint is on it will remain fresh the entire time. Please note that the size of the bag provided is specifically manufactured to be used with this product. Do not use the bag to store other products or food.
In order to avoid any risk of suffocation, you should keep the resealable bag away from any children or babies. Never use it in playpens, beds, cribs, or carriages. It is not a toy.
Much the same as a roller brush, the Paint2It palette has soft fibers that comprise the center of the palette. It is here that you can put your colors. You can pour a small amount of paint and it will not move. If you want to pour a larger amount of paint for a larger paint job, then you can use your roller or brush to move it around until it covers the entire palette. At the edges of the palette you will find a raised perimeter that keeps excess paint from rolling off or spilling. Should you want to use multiple colors on a single project, you can pour small amounts of as many as you want into small areas of the palette. They will not move around or smear into the other colors.
