Omelet Express is a bowl meant to microwave eggs such that they produce the perfect omelet. The idea behind it is simple insofar as it cuts down the mess made preparing an omelet and makes the perfect omelet each time without burning the bottom or leaving it too runny inside. Everything can be done in one bowl. The eggs can be mixed, cooked, and served from a single bowl, then put into the dishwasher to be cleaned.
The cost of Omelette Express is $14.99 plus $6.99 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Omelette Express by paying an extra fee of $6.99 for a total price of $28.97.
Omelet Express bowl can make a variety of eggs. If consumers want an omelet, they can do so. Consumers who want scrambled eggs, they can just whisk the eggs and cook. Should they instead want eggs over easy, they can use trial and error with their particular microwave to find the right time setting. Once that is done, they can perfectly prepare two cracked eggs with unbroken yolks into eggs over easy or sunny side up.
The biggest downside is that the omelet itself is not quite an omelet. Traditionally the omelet has the eggs, toppings, and then the rest of the egg flipped over on top of the toppings. With this special bowl, it only cooks the eggs with the toppings mixed in, but no real egg flipped over on top. That doesn’t impact the taste, but rather, the presentation.
There is really one size fits all which is difficult for those planning on making lots of eggs. The tilt shape of the bowl allows for only a few eggs to be cooked at a time. For large families, it doesn’t save the same amount of time because each person would theoretically need their own bowl. If the family only has one or two bowls, then after each use it has to be cleaned before it can be reused. Such a difficulty means that families cannot eat together at the same time unless they can all share one omelet.
Add eggs and favorite ingredients.
Whisk together evenly, if you are adding ingredients.
Microwave for the amount of time necessary, and serve.
This bowl works by way of cooking the eggs in a microwave instead of on the stove. On the stove, there is a lot of variety with different heats, different pans, and different eggs. So consumers who want eggs a certain way might end up cooking slowly over a long period of time so that over easy eggs are not too well done on the bottom. They might instead spend a lot of time trying to flip a scramble, only to end up with the bottom slightly more cooked than the top.
Using this bowl, the unique tilt design cooks the eggs evenly in the microwave without needing to flip or stir at any point. In the microwave, the tilt allows the heat to circulate around the bowl so that it offers even and fast cooking. Allegedly, this bowl will cook eggs six times faster than on a stove top.
This bowl certainly saves time by cutting down on the number of items needed to prepare certain omelets, and the time spent cleaning all of the items needed. When consumers can whisk prepared ingredients together in the same bowl they cook with, it saves time otherwise spent cleaning and reduces the mess. Of course, users would still need to use something on which to cut or dice the things they want to add, but the bowl still makes the rest of the work simpler.
