When used in the daytime, your Night Hero Binoculars will allow you to choose between a wide range of focal adjustments in order to see birds, animals, sporting events and more with clarity. However, that's where their similarities with a pair of standard binoculars will end. Once it's dark out, you can press the laser illumination button located near the back of the binoculars in order to turn on the built-in wide-angle laser beam. No matter how dark it gets, this beam will let you see objects that are up to 150 yards away in great detail. With the beam turned on, the level of clarity will be so high that it'll be almost like you're seeing the objects in the daytime instead. You'll be able to turn off the laser beam once it gets light out again, or whenever you choose.
These binoculars are about the same size as any standard pair, so most people will be able to carry them almost anywhere without feeling like they're being weighted down. Aside from having a strap attached to them, each pair also comes with a black carrying case that you can slide the binoculars into when you won't be using them in the immediate future. This case will help protect the lenses of the binoculars from scratches, and if you clip it to a belt or fanny pack, you'll be able to carry your binoculars while keeping your hands free.
When you do decide to hold your binoculars in one or two hands, you'll likely be happy to find out that each pair contains a textured area for comfortable gripping. Besides keeping your hands comfortable, this textured area will help prevent the binoculars from falling out of your hands as you use them to view a particular thing.
The lenses within each pair of these binoculars are of a high optical quality, which indicates that even without your wide-angle laser beam turned on, you'll be able to see effectively through them. Due to this level of quality, there's little chance that they'll distort the dimensions of what you see, making some things appear too small and others too large in relation to each other. What they will do, though, is magnify the entire picture in front of your eyes to make it appear 10 times larger, so you'll be able to see it in sharp relief.
To keep your eyes as comfortable as your hands will be as you use your Night Hero Binoculars, a rubber cup for the appropriate eye to rest against surrounds each of the lenses. The rubber will cushion your eyes so that they aren't resting against hard plastic on its own, which could cause irritation.
The Night Hero Binoculars are water resistant, which means you'll be able to use them in the rain without worrying about them incurring damage.
The design for these binoculars has been inspired by the functionality of the night vision binoculars that American military members use. Therefore, you can use these civilian's binoculars with the knowledge that certain design principles that have proven successful during military operations have been included in their design.
Like most high-quality pairs of binoculars, these ones are ideal for outdoor activities, regardless of whether you're bird-watching, hiking in nature, looking at landmarks or watching an athletic event from a faraway seat. If no large objects are obstructing your view, you'll be able to look at all the action as if you're right in front of it, even if you're the equivalent of a block away. With a clear view across a body of water, you may be able to see other boats, islands and other things that may interest you for miles in various directions.
These binoculars will help keep you safe by showing you potentially dangerous obstacles, such as large animals, during both the daytime and the nighttime (whether you're at home or elsewhere). Due to the clarity with which you'll be able to see these obstacles, you'll have a good chance of getting out of the way quickly enough to avoid them. On the other hand, without these binoculars to help you see, you might end up in danger. Even if you're inside, if you hear rustling outside your home, you may be able to catch a potential intruder or marauding critter.
It's stated that the Night Hero Binoculars are water resistant, but not completely waterproof. That means they'll be able to survive the impact of an accidental splash from a pool or a lake, or even a heavy deluge of rain, but they likely won't survive being submerged in water. As a result, in order to keep them safe from damage, you'll have to be sure that you're hanging onto them super-carefully while sitting or walking around near any large source of water.
You won't be able to get prescription lenses to attach to these binoculars. Consequently, if you normally wear prescription glasses, you'll need to keep them on while using your binoculars, as taking them off will interfere with how well you'll see through the binoculars. Some people who wear glasses might not mind doing this, but some might find that with their glasses on, their eyes don't fit as nicely into the rubber cups as eyes without glasses do.
Since there's no way to plug these binoculars into electricity, it can be assumed that the wide-angle laser beam within each pair works due to a battery inside. It can also be assumed that the beam will eventually burn out, although when that'll happen will depend on how often it's used. In order to make the life of your laser beam as long as possible, be sure to only turn it on when you need it and keep it off during the day. When it does burn out, it could be difficult or impossible to replace the battery and any other mechanisms that help turn it on, so you may need an entirely new set of binoculars.

When I shine my unit at the wall with the laser on it shows only half a bright spot. The top half is very light and the bottom half is bright. Should it not be equal across the whole image and be of equal brightness?
