Nail Hugs are nail decals with attractive designs that will go on in seconds and come off as quickly as a layer of standard nail polish. Within each set of decals, you'll receive six sheets (each featuring a different design), and since you'll be able to cut the sheets yourself, the decals will fit nails of any size, shape or length. You'll also receive a dotting tool, a bottle of clear top coat polish and alcohol swabs for cleaning purposes with each set.
The cost of Nail Hugs is $19.95 plus $4.95 shipping, for a total price of $24.90.

The first thing you'll need to do when using Nail Hugs is cut your first decal out of one of your six sheets. If you don't feel like measuring the nail you're going to add it to, and you're not sure how big to cut it, err on the side of too large instead of too small. No special scissors will be needed to cut any of your decal sheets, nor will you need to do any nail preparation besides making sure you have clean and dry hands. You won't even need to remove any nail polish you're already wearing.
Next, transfer your cut-out decal to the nail of your choice, leaving the plastic backing facing up. Press the decal firmly, but not aggressively, down against the nail for at least 30 seconds. Following that, gently remove the plastic backing, and then you'll notice that only the decal's colored design is left behind on your nail.
The next step is to apply a layer of clear top coat polish over the decal in order to help it stay on. You can use the top coat polish that comes in each Nail Hugs set or another brand of your choice. Once you're done applying it, leave it for a few minutes to dry.
When your top coat is dry, if you notice any excess color or polish on the skin around the nail you've just worked on, you can remove it with an alcohol wipe at this point. In your Nail Hugs set, you'll see that you have two alcohol swabs that are already ready to go, but after you've used those, you'll need to replace them with similar ones on your own. While you're wiping your skin with an alcohol swab, try not to touch your decorated nail since doing so could cause you to accidentally wipe some color off.
Each set of Nail Hugs features sheets of decals with six different designs in different colors, so if you get bored with one design, you can always switch to another. You might want to make all your fingers look exactly the same, or wear different designs on different fingers—it's completely up to you. Added together, unless your nails are much larger than average, your six sheets will give you enough decals to decorate 50 to 60 fingernails.
Including the time you'll take to paint each nail with your top coat polish, it'll only take you a few minutes to decorate any nail with one of these decals. When you're experienced with adding them to your nails, you'll also be able to speed up the process by decorating five to ten nails at once before moving on to adding your top coat. If you want to have different-looking nails after work than you do at work, you'll probably be able to change the look of all of them with these decals during one scheduled break.
Some nail decals are fairly thick and can make your fingers feel heavy, but fortunately, these ones are very sleek and lightweight. While you're wearing them, you won't feel as if you've got a layer of construction paper on each nail. Plus, they'll always stay flat against your nails without bunching up or developing air bubbles.
All the materials used to make Nail Hugs are non-toxic in nature, which means that you won't have to stop eating or touching food with your fingers after applying them. (The only exception to this is if your food-handling job makes you wear gloves over any decorated nails.). You certainly shouldn't ingest these nail decals on purpose, but if you were to accidentally lick a fingernail with one on it, that wouldn't hurt you. Kids who chew on their fingernails will also be able to wear these decals without harm.
With some sets of nail decals, you'll have to file your nails into a certain shape first to enable the decals to stay on properly. You can do this if you want to before using your Nail Hugs, but it's not absolutely necessary, as you can cut your decals to fit your nails the way they are. That means you'll be able to apply the decals even if you don't have a nail file on hand, or simply don't feel like taking the time to file your nails.
If you think that the designs that come in each Nail Hugs set don't have enough dots, you can just add more dots yourself with the included dotting tool. Each dotting tool is like a pen, but a bit smaller, so it won't be difficult for most users to hold and work with. It also won't take up much space wherever you decide to store your nail supplies.
Besides fingernails, the decals in your Nail Hugs set can be used on toenails, although you'll have to remember to cut each decal into a size and shape that's suitable for each toenail. The application process will be the same, but just keep in mind that your decal sheets may be used up more quickly than they would be if you were to decorate your fingernails only.
Some men do like to decorate their nails, but they may find most of the designs included in each Nail Hugs decal set too "girly" for them. It would be beneficial if more designs that might be considered masculine, such as ones in darker colors without flowers, could be included in each set. Another alternative would be to create separate sets for people who like different decal styles, without specifically labeling them in accordance with gender.
It would be nice if at least a small pair of scissors could be included in each package of Nail Hugs, but unfortunately, all users will need to supply their own. If you don't have a pair of scissors on hand, you could try and rip decals off one or more of your sheets, but by doing that, you might end up destroying your sheets.
