My Vanity Mirror is a three-paneled mirror that's meant to fold out and rest on almost any flat surface so that you can see three different views of your face at the same time. When folded, it's purported to be approximately the same size as a standard notebook for students. The center panel contains an LED light that you can turn on while you're using the mirror, and the stand contains compartments in which you might like to store makeup, jewelry, and other small items.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Fold Out Mirror

To start using My Vanity Mirror, you'll need to unfold it to reveal the center panel, and then place its stand on a flat surface. Following that, you can fold out each of the side panels and adjust them to the angle you prefer.

  2. Fill Compartments (optional)

Once your mirror has been unfolded, you'll notice that its stand contains a few compartments. All of these are fairly small, but they're also slightly different sizes that will suit different items. If you'd like to, you can stash makeup, jewelry, and other beauty tools or small objects of your choice in any of these compartments. Just make sure you don't fill them to the point of overflowing, or you won't be able to fold up your mirror tightly enough later.

  3. Turn on Lights (optional)

If you feel like you're going to need more illumination as you use your mirror, you can press the round button at the bottom of the center panel to turn on the built-in LED lights. These lights will provide a soft, white glow around the perimeter of the panel, and they're also dimmable if you press your finger against the round button for an extended period of time.

  4. Use Mirror to See Face, Neck

After your mirror has been unfolded, and you've turned on its light (if needed), you'll be able to use the mirror to examine your face and neck as you engage in your beauty routine. You may even be able to see part of your chest, depending on how far from the mirror you sit or stand, and you'll likely find it useful as you style your hair, too. Each of the mirror's panels will give you slightly different views of the same area of your face or body, so you'll be unlikely to ever miss a detail.

  • White

Each of these three-paneled mirrors comes in a shade of plain white, which means that each one will look attractive in most bedrooms or bathrooms, regardless of the decor.

  • Foldable for Travel, Storage

When you're not using one of these mirrors, or you'd like to take one with you while you travel away from home, you'll be able to fold it up for storage purposes. After you've folded it, it'll fit into most drawers or cabinets at home, and it'll fit into a suitcase or a large handbag when you want to take it on the road. To fold it effectively, be sure to first fold in the two side panels and then fold the center panel against the stand, which will also stop anything in the compartments from falling out.

  • LED Lights

My Vanity Mirror is illuminated by a group of soft LED lights that are long-lasting and tend to be gentle on the eyes. LED lights will often last for up to 100, 000 hours before they need to be replaced, so these lights may give you years of illumination before they burn out. Plus, these particular LED lights have been included within this type of mirror since they can create tones of illumination that are preferred by beauty professionals.

  • Distortion-Free Glass

All of the panels within this type of mirror have been made from precision-engineered glass that will give you a clear view of your face without distorting the shape of any particular feature. Even when you look into the center panel, which has a size that's been chosen to maximize details, you'll see each feature at its proper proportion (relative to the others).

  • Cordless

It appears that there's a battery built into each of these mirrors, so you'll never have to plug yours into electricity when you want to turn its lights on. If the LED lights within your mirror ever burn out, though, you may still find the mirror extremely useful when it's unlit.

Critical Advice

While you can leave the LED lights within your mirror on as long as you want to, it's best to turn them off after you're done using them, as this will help conserve their power. To turn off these lights that have illuminated your mirror's center panel, push the power button quickly, as you would in order to turn the lights on. By turning them off promptly, you'll ensure that they'll last at least a bit longer than they would if you left them on for hours.

Positive Points

  • Can Help With Beauty Routine

Regardless of your gender, you probably engage in some sort of beauty routine each morning, and perhaps a second routine before you go out in the evening. This three-paneled mirror will help you get through shaving, applying makeup, tweezing your brows, medicating pimples or whatever you happen to do with minimal mistakes. You'll also be able to use the mirror to get a more diverse view of your hair than you would with a single panel, which will aid you with both basic and complex hairstyles.

  • Ideal for Selfie Preparation

Before taking a selfie and posting it on social media, most people likely want to know how attractive they really look on that particular day. Fortunately, My Vanity Mirror is actually an ideal one to look at yourself in before you hold your phone up to your face and snap a picture. Since it'll give you a super-clear and distortion-free view, you'll know whether there are any blemishes you need to conceal or any features you should minimize with makeup.

  • Generous Storage Space

Without access to storage compartments like those found within this three-paneled mirror, you might spread a bunch of makeup, jewelry and beauty tools out in front of you as you go through your daily routine. Some of these items could end up falling off your table or dresser, or getting so jumbled that you can't put a hand on the ones you need in seconds. If you keep the small items you regularly need in the mirror's built-in compartments, though, they'll be ready at hand and more organized, especially if you designate certain compartments for certain kinds of objects.

Negative Points

  • No Full-body View

My Vanity Mirror is fairly small in size, so even though it'll allow you to see your face, your neck and likely your chest, it won't give you a full view of your body. You'll need to use another mirror to see your entire outfit before you leave the house, and that mirror may not offer you as much clarity.
