These monster toy trucks are built to be smashed up and rebuilt. Users can slam them into each other repeatedly until the truck falls apart, and then they can put it back together and keep going.
The secret to the toy is that the various parts of it are held together by peg connectors. Just as they can snap out of place, they can easily be snapped back into their correct location. There are 7 removable parts on the trucks.
The heavy-duty suspension on the Monster Crash trucks makes them very durable, and able to ride over difficult terrain both inside and outside of the house.
The product comes with an RC remote which allows you to control the speed and movement of the trucks. This allows you to race the trucks against each other, or just roam around the house. It's also possible to do turns and sharp twists as you go along. You can even get the truck to do a tornado twist with this remote control.
The set includes fun decals that you can use to decorate the monster trucks. This allows you to personalize your truck a little and make it your own. It can also help distinguish trucks of the same color from each other.
Included with the product is a fun guide. The book has some great suggestions for how you can use the trucks, and the type of activities you could engage in. It also describes special challenges to carry out.
The Monster Crash trucks are available in several colors, including red, yellow, and blue. Naturally, this will allow you to attach the correct pieces to the correct trucks after a crash! It can also allow a family or group of people to divide into teams for an activity.
This is certainly a fun activity that would bring people together, creating a lot of laughter and good times. It's a very interactive game, good for family members or friends to play together and build some memories.
Playing with the Monster Crash trucks could lead to some friendly competition, in the form of racing type games and other possible activities. This is not the kind of game that people would tend to take too seriously, leading to ugliness creeping into the competition. So it's an opportunity to model friendly, positive competition.
The game involves coordination between the remote and the steering of the trucks, which can sometimes be tricky. This develops hand-eye coordination skills, which are important for so many different activities in life.
With the heavy-duty suspension that helps the truck to navigate difficult terrain, these Monster Crash trucks could be used both inside and outside. This means that this is not an activity which will necessarily keep children confined inside the house.
The price of the product is quite low, especially when you take into account that the manufacturer is offering a second truck with your order for only the cost of the postage. This item is financially accessible to almost anyone.
The manufacturer of Monster Crash is offering a 60-day money-back guarantee on this product. If you're dissatisfied with the item for any reason, you can return it within 60 days of your purchase via USPS for a refund. This does not include the postage and handling fee, which you still have to pay.
These trucks are built to be smashed apart and then put back together, but that also means a lot of parts flying around. Those parts are going to get lost so easily. They're going to fly under chairs and couches. They are going to get picked up and taken elsewhere by pets and toddlers. In no time the monster trucks are going to be devoid of many parts.
The other issue with parts going all over the house and getting lost is that it can be dangerous. Someone can easily step on one of them and fall. Little children may put them in their mouths and risk choking, and the same is true of pets. This seems pretty inadvisable if you do have little ones running around.
It seems like the trucks would damage the floors in the house, possibly scratching or marking them. This could also be true of carpets. They could possibly track dirt around the house or something else they encounter. It's almost inevitable that things are going to get knocked over and broken when people are engaging in this activity.
The idea of promoting car crashes and playing them out with each other is a little disturbing. These crashes happen every day in real life and people get harmed and killed in them. The idea of a family laughing around such a thing isn't a very nice feeling. It does encourage people to become desensitized to these type of violent accidents that are in actuality tragic.
It's not clear how much noise is created by the trucks themselves, but there is some. Beyond that, this is simply a game which leads to a lot of noise as people interact, shout, laugh and exclaim. This may be fine if people are playing out of doors, but in the house, it could get annoying if the game is played too often.
Although this game is probably fun to engage in, there is a dark aspect to it for certain. The idea of simulating a terrible car crash and using it to engage in positive interactions with friends and family is actually a little disturbing. Families are in car crashes all the time and people are often harmed terribly. There's nothing to laugh about in that situation, and you can't simply put the people and the car parts back together to start again. In the humble opinion of this reviewer, games like this really do belong in the past.
