The Mobility Wall is a compact foam rolling system for at-home use, but unlike a traditional foam roller that you'd use on the floor, it's meant to be used while you stand up. It's stated that you'll be able to mount this foam roller (via its silicone support brackets) from any standard doorway, and then use it to massage muscles in places like your legs, arms, or back. Each tool also comes with four interchangeable massage heads that have been made to target certain trigger points.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Mount in Doorway

This foam-rolling tool will come fully put together, but when you receive it, you'll need to set it up in a doorway of your choice, at your chosen height. The doorway must be a standard size, or else the roller may be too long or too short to fit within it comfortably. Once you've selected a doorway, make sure that one side of each of the roller's brackets is resting against one side of the doorway. Following that, twist the device's adjustment handles, which you'll find next to each bracket, in order to tighten them.

  2. Add Massage Head (optional)

The Mobility Wall comes with four massage heads that are different shapes, such as a circular shape or a U-shape. If you'd like, you can attach one of these to the middle of your device, between the two foam-rolling pads. Once there, it'll be able to go through a 360-degree range of motion as it massages a particular part of your body. If you're new to foam rolling, you may want to leave this part out to start, though, as using these massage heads can be fairly intense.

  3. Start Rolling

Regardless of whether you've added a massage head or not, it'll be time to start rolling certain muscles against your Mobility Wall. To do so, you can use one or both rolling pads, and stand on one foot or both. You can roll almost any muscle against one or both pads, but the common body parts people focus on include the back, the legs, the arms, the shoulders, and the feet. If you're experiencing tension in more than one muscle, feel free to target more than one in a single session, but you should focus on one at a time.

  4. Store Foam Roller Away

You'll be able to use your foam roller for as long as you'd like to, as long as it's not causing you to experience pain. When you're done with it, loosen the grips and then store it away in a corner or under a piece of furniture until you need it again.

  • Slip-Resistant Design

The sturdy silicone brackets that have been designed to hold this device up as you use it in a doorway have been made of slip-resistant material. That means the tool will be unlikely to wiggle out of place or fall to the floor as you use it to foam-roll various muscles. Similarly, the adjustment handles have been designed to be simple for the human hand to grip, so even a slippery, sweaty hand will be unlikely to slide off of these as you adjust your device.

  • EVA Foam Pads

Both foam-rolling pads that you'll find within your Mobility Wall have been constructed from high-density black EVA foam. This type of foam tends to be durable, along with being unlikely to crack under stress or to incur damage from liquids such as water or sweat. As a result, your device's pads may remain in good condition for up to several years, even if you expose the device to nature by using it in a doorway that leads to the outdoors.

  • Lightweight and Compact

This foam-rolling tool is lightweight enough that most users will be able to carry it under one arm. Plus, it'll take up no more than three feet of storage space, length-wise (and it's slimmer than it is wide), when it's time to store it away. If you want to bring this device somewhere else to work out, such as a friend's house or your cottage, you'll likely be able to fit it into a small trunk or one vehicle seat.

  • Tool-Free Installation

When it comes to some at-home fitness devices, they must be put together with tools when they arrive at your home, but this one will already be assembled fully when it shows up. Therefore, if you're not into putting things together, or you're not good at it, you won't have to waste time and energy as you try to fit together the different pieces. As for any adjustments you'll need to make to the device before you use it, you'll be able to complete those with just your two hands.

Positive Points

  • Relieves Pain and Tension

Like a traditional foam roller that you'd rub your muscles with on the floor, the point of using this device is to relieve pain, tension, or other forms of discomfort in your muscles. Consequently, this is a good tool for athletes or physical laborers to use, either before or after a workout or shift. By relieving any discomfort you're experiencing, you may find that your muscles are looser and that you're able to move more freely, and you may take note of an improved mental state, too.

  • Can Increase Blood Flow

Even for those people who don't engage in a lot of physical activity, and instead sit at a desk all day, the Mobility Wall can be useful. When you spend a lot of time sitting, this can slow down your circulatory system, and this may eventually have detrimental effects on your health. Fortunately, if you start rolling certain muscles against this device, you can speed up your circulatory system and increase your blood flow again in as little as a few minutes.

  • May Improve Balance

If your balance is something that you need to work on, you might improve it without even thinking about it by using this device. You'll be required to stand on either one or both legs as you use it, instead of lying on the floor, so you'll be naturally required to practice this type of poise throughout every session. Furthermore, having to stretch a leg, an arm, or another body part towards the device to get a good massage may improve your level of flexibility.

Negative Points

  • Suitable Doorway Required

Those potential users who live in a crowded home, with people constantly running through various doorways, might have some difficulty finding an available one in which to mount this device. Along the same lines, if your residence has doorways that aren't standard-sized, you may not be able to find a doorway with the correct width to accommodate this foam roller.
