How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Select Knife for Use

Once you've got a set of these knives and are ready to start using them, you'll have to select the ideal knife to cut the first food item you want to prepare. The cheese knife and steak knives have quite self-explanatory names, and most small items can be cut with the paring knife. Each set's slicers should cut bread or meat effectively, while the filet knife is ideal for fish, the carving knife's fantastic for meat, and the Rock 'N Chef can be used for veggies. The Chop & Scoop will typically cut garnishings, such as cilantro and basil, nicely.

  2. Slice Your Food

After you've selected a knife, start slicing or chopping up the food you're preparing. It's not necessary that you wear gloves, but you should always keep the hand(s) you're using on the knife's handle and away from the blade. Pointing the blade away from you as you cut is a good idea, and gripping your knife's handle near the middle should give you an optimal level of control.

  3. Switch Knives (optional)

If you need to cut up more than one type of food, you may want to put down the first knife you used and switch to one of a different type. However, if the next type of food you want to cut is in the same food group as the first one, you may want to continue with your original knife. No matter which knife you use, the principles of safe and effective cutting outlined above should be followed.

  4. Clean Used Knives

When you're done slicing or chopping up all the food that needs to be cut, load any used knives into your dishwasher or prepare them for hand-washing. If you opt to hand-wash them, use a cloth to clean the blades with soap and water while keeping your bare skin away from the blades as you do so. Be sure to dry the blades of any hand-washed knives with a dry cloth before storing them away in a knife stand or a drawer.

  • Sharp, Rust Resistant Blades

The fact that all of the Miracle Blade World Class knives have blades made from stainless steel makes them highly rust-resistant. That means you won't have to worry about stray bits of rust ending up in your food after the knives have aged. Aside from being ultra-sharp, some of the blades also contain extra grooves to help them do their jobs, such as the stippled edges on the slicers and the quick-release scallops on the Rock 'N Chef.

  • Easy-Grip Handles

The handles of all the knives in each set have an ergonomically selected size and shape that should make them comfortable for users to grip in one hand. Therefore, it's unlikely that your dominant hand will start to hurt while using one of these knives, even if you have to use it for a half-hour straight. Furthermore, the handles are all triple-riveted, so they'll be unlikely to accidentally detach themselves from the corresponding blade and cause a user to make a potentially unsafe slicing mistake.

  • Dishwasher Safe

As alluded to above, every tool in each Miracle Blade World Class knife set, including the scissor-like kitchen shears, is dishwasher safe. If you want to wash or rinse each piece by hand, though, that's acceptable, although you should always clean a kitchen tool with soap if it has come in contact with meat or dairy products.

  • Attractive Appearance

You may find these black-and-silver kitchen tools so pleasantly sleek and sophisticated that you want to display them on your countertop instead of stashing them away in a drawer. Each set won't come with a knife stand, but you should be able to find a variety of wooden knife stands that will house these knives. Just remember to store the knives with the blade pointing downward and the handle pointing upward, so they don't come in contact with any unsuspecting fingers (especially children's fingers).

Positive Points

  • Don't Need Regular Sharpening

When using a different set of kitchen knives, you might have to take them to get sharpened every few months or invest in a knife sharpener of your own. This can be time-consuming and requires a certain level of dexterity if you want to sharpen the knives by yourself. Fortunately, it's specified that even if you use your set of Miracle Blade World Class knives on a regular basis, you likely won't ever have to re-sharpen them. They may retain their original level of sharpness throughout an entire lifetime.

  • Can Make Food Prep More Fun

You may groan every time you have to take out an old, dull knife to cut food items like fresh vegetables, and that might even cause you to avoid making complicated meals at home. If all you have is a small paring knife to chop up everything you're going to toss into a chef's salad, that might make this task seem unpleasant, too. On the other hand, once you've got a Miracle Blade set, you'll consistently be able to grab a sharp knife that's been designed for a specific purpose and complete your food preparation with less irritation.

  • Make a Good Gift

Any cooking enthusiast on your list would probably love to receive one of these knife sets, but even if someone isn't particularly enthusiastic about cooking, it can make a useful gift for them, too. Almost anyone will feel the need to slice a piece of cheese or bread or cut something with a pair of kitchen shears at some point. Plus, having additional knives around may encourage someone who doesn't do much slicing and dicing to explore some new techniques.

  • Not Safe for Children

Since these knives are so incredibly sharp, you shouldn't allow a child who's under 12 years old to use them. They may not have the coordination required to slice food effectively without having their fingers slip too close to a sharp blade. If a child or teen over the age of 12 wants to learn to use one of these knives, you must supervise them closely as they do so, no matter their level of cooking experience. As for the kitchen shears, these are safer for children over 12 to use, but children under 12 should still be watched closely.
