The infomercial claims this product has a nozzle which is as powerful as a fireman’s nozzle. However, multiple customers have reported this is not the case. Some have even complained this nozzle is no more powerful than a regular hose - and in some instances weaker than a few ordinary hoses. Its official website claims this nozzle is fifty percent more powerful than an average garden hose, which does not seem to be accurate according to actual users of the product. BUT WAIT - the company's claim may be true. 50% stronger sounds like a lot; however, its not. In fact a 50% increase in water flow may be difficult to notice using only the human eye. If you have 2 hoses side by side and 1 has twice as much pressure as the other, you MAY notice a very slight difference. This would mean one house has a 100% increase in water pressure. By adding the Might Blaster to your hose you can only expect a 50% increase. That's only a 1.5x increase. The Bottom Line: Customers complain because 50% sounds like a huge increase when in fact it is not. It is very likely the nozzle increases water pressure just as it claims. See: How to Increase Water Pressure
SOME parts in the interior of this device are made of plastic, which some have found to be of poor quality. It has even broken for a few customers on the first try, showing that the materials used to create this device are flimsy and will not stand up to all hoses.
Despite what the infomercial demonstrates, the water pressure does not actually increase according to many consumers. Even when you concentrate the water pressure, it is still not much more powerful than an ordinary hose and barely changes from the spray setting water pressure.
The Mighty Blaster is a powerful nozzle which will attach to any garden hose. The same technology was used for its development as is used for professional fireman’s nozzles, but the product is light, small, and portable. The device, which can be used for cleaning both inside and outside the house, is made of high-quality aluminum and stainless steel. You can adjust the strength of this nozzle’s stream to complete different types of cleaning tasks. Even when being used at full blast, it’s not extremely noisy.
The Mighty Blaster can be attached to any garden hose, and all you need to do is turn it on. If you want a strong, mighty stream to clean mold off brick or tile, or wash away the dirt from your household siding, just twist the nozzle and the stream will gradually become stronger. If you need a lighter stream to water your garden or bushes, twist the nozzle in the opposite direction. The Mighty Blaster’s stream can extend up to 30 feet high, so you can even use it to clean dirt off second and third-story windows.
Constructed of aircraft grade aluminum and high grade stainless steel, you won't have to worry about this piece bursting or cracking. With that being said, no matter how much steel is used, an item is only as strong as its weakest part. Stainless steel does nothing to prevent it from leaking or to increase water pressure.
Aircraft Grade AluminumThe phrase "aircraft grade aluminum" is slightly misleading because there are a multitude of various grades of aluminum used on aircraft. Some of them aren't very special at all and could almost compare to that used on a soda can. Other grades uses are highly specialized and contain advanced micro-structure properties. There is no clear indication of which grade of aluminum has been used in these units.
High Grade Stainless SteelHigh Grade Stainless Steel is commonly used to make a variety of items including cookware, bolts, pens, grinders, blades, engine parts, surgical tools, and tongs. This list is far from exhaustive; however, demonstrates that the metal is used in cheap items which are relatively unimportant to pieces which require absolute precision and durability.
While it sounds 'cool' to be made using aircraft grade aluminum and high grade stainless steel, this factor really shouldn't lend any credibility or weight into your decision to purchase or not.
Many garden hose nozzles are unable to deliver a stream as high as the Mighty Blaster’s, which means users have to go up a ladder to wash their second and third-story windows. Many do not offer such a wide variety of stream strengths to choose from, forcing users to buy two different nozzles, one for watering the plants and another for doing heavy-duty cleaning. Unlike a lot of standard garden hose nozzles, the Mighty Blaster is not prone to leaks, and due to its handle’s design, will not put undue stress on your arms and wrists.
- Ranking as number one on Amazon.com, lead free brass hose nozzles seem to be the best solution for getting high water pressure from a hose. The nozzle is adjustable and can quickly go from a spray to a powerful jet-like stream. Additionally, since the brass is free of lead, there are no health risks associated with the materials of this nozzle. Brass is known for its corrosion resistance, which makes this product more likely to outlast a plastic nozzle.
- Dramm Water Nozzles are made in the United States, which many say is the reason they are high quality. While this product has plastic elements along with metal materials, this does not stop customers from raving about its water pressure abilities and quality.

STEP 1: Attach the Mighty Blaster to your garden hose, as per the device’s instructions.
STEP 2: Turn on the device by pushing down on its strong handle.
STEP 3: Twist the nozzle to the right to get a stronger stream, and to the left to use a lighter stream.
STEP 4: When you’re done cleaning or watering, just release the nozzle and the Mighty Blaster will quickly turn off.
The infomercial claims that this hose is so powerful it can knock over cinder blocks. However, most regular garden hoses can also do this at a similar distance, which means this fact does not attest to any unusual strength. Thus, many people might not catch this discrepancy if they have never needed to knock a cinder block over with their own hose.
Furthermore, many customers have stated purchasing this product was a waste of money since it was not more powerful than their ordinary hose - leading them to believe they were scammed. While the actual company is legitimate and ships their products out as promised, the product itself fails to meet the high expectations generated by the infomercial. Along with the flimsy plastic design, this device has been labeled a flop by a large majority of users who complained about its lack of water pressure, weak design and misleading infomercial.
All these negative user opinions make it sound like a complete 'SCAM'; however, its not! The nozzle does as it claims. If you purchase a product you will receive exactly what you purchased. A large number of customers label it as a scam simply because they expected it to be similar to a power washer. It is a hose nozzle not a miracle invention that will magically increase water pressure. Bottom Line: It is not a scam.
If you live in California, expect not to need your garden hose much. According to the California Water Resources Control Board, many new restrictions to water use now limit how much a homeowner can use their garden hose. Five hundred dollar fines are being handed out to anyone who is considered to be misusing water in the following ways:
- Watering lawns in excessive ways (i.e. creating water runoffs)
- Cleaning sidewalks or driveways using a hose
- Hosing down a car without a shut off nozzle
Thus, having extreme water pressure on your garden hose in California might be used against you if you violated any new water regulations within your neighborhood. Furthermore, there are expected to be stricter water laws put into place within California due to the severe drought it is experiencing. In other words - you might eventually not be able to use your water hose at all if the drought continues to plague the state.
Returning Mighty Blaster proves to be more costly than to keep it. If you choose to receive a refund, the shipping and handling costs will fall on you - with no return given on your original shipping and handling fees. Thus, you will need to pay shipping fees twice - once to receive the product and again in order to ship it back. For this reason, it ends up being more cost effective not to return it.
If you scroll down to the bottom of the official website and click the purchasing policy link, you will see that receiving this item might take longer than expected. As stated within this policy, most orders are shipped one week after the purchase is completed.
However, due to shortages of inventory and other warehouse issues, some products might not be shipped until six weeks after the purchase is made. You will not know whether or not your order is available for shipping or if it is backlogged until you have already placed an order. Thus, there is no way to know if the item is available for immediate shipping unless you call customer service before placing your order.
The website states the price for this device is $19.99 plus shipping and handling, which is said to be $7.99. However, when on the purchase page, you will see that the shipping is $10 for those outside of the United States. Furthermore, if you live in either New Jersey or California, you will also be charged a sales tax. Thus, the actual price could be much higher depending on where you live.
There is a special offer on the website that states you will receive a special offer by purchasing the Mighty Blaster with the Pocket Hose Ultra. However, when you get to the order form page, you will notice you are charged $12.99 for a 25 ft. Pocket Hose Ultra - which is the exact amount it costs to buy it separately. Thus, the second product is not discounted in any way. The upside to ordering this special offer is only paying $7.99 in shipping for both products PLUS receiving a FREE 2nd Might Blaster, as opposed to buying them separately and paying for shipping twice.
Home and yard maintenance are a lot easier when you can use the same tool to do all the work, and the Mighty Blaster makes this possible. Aside from the uses already mentioned, the product can be used to clean leaves and debris off doorsteps and walkways, make patio furniture spotless, and even hose down driveways covered with sand or mud. You’ll do all of this while likely saving money on your water bill, as the device uses up to 40 percent less water than some nozzles.

This nozzle broke and would not shut off after only having it for a couple of months during the summer. The water faucet had to be shut off instead to not waste water. The Mighty Blaster was only used sporadically during this time for residential use. The warranty is basically nonexistent. I would have to pay to ship it back to the company and upon their inspection, they would determine if I would get a replacement. This is such a rip off because it would cost me so much that it would be better to use that money to purchase a better-quality replacement from another company. Reputable companies that I have dealt with in the past have been more than happy to replace defective products. It is not the customer's responsibility to bear the burden of poor quality. The customer service representatives parrot the same stupid response that it is their policy and will not get a manager to make good on an exchange or refund! I will never buy anything from this company again.

My blaster is a disaster. No pressure / came apart.
Even when working, no different than a regular nozzle. Had to throw it in the junk pile.

Worked ok for 2 months, inner seal tore, now Junk. Can't find were to get seal. Basic rubber seals from ACE fit but don't last if you adjust spray. Now in trash!

All of these videos for any of these sprayers that are recorded have these products hooked up to a fire hydrant.
You can make a unit with 12 bucks worth of items from home depot, that allows you to attach a regular garden hose to it and will make it work asotv. Very misleading as far as giving the impression it will work as well as in the commercial. It will if you can hook it up to a hydrant. Unless you have access to it, expect sub-par rests from all.

This hose doesn't work as well as my regular nozzle. For the ad to say it works as well as power washer is ridiculous! I'm sorry I had to give it even one star.

I purchased this nozzle at Wal Mart for $14.88
I was excited to try it, then sadly disappointed as the water pressure was less than my Yard Works nozzle from Canadian Tire. I promptly returned the Mighty Blaster for a full refund.
Save your money and do not buy the Mighty Blaster!

This is not worth the money. Don't buy. It is ok to water flowers but doesn't have any more power than my old nozzle. It's a joke!

If the user doesn't have psi and flow delivered to the nozzle then it has no better "power" than any other off the shelf nozzle. The pattern may be different but power out of any nozzle can't be greater than power delivered to the nozzle. Simple math my friends.

I bought this thinking I could power wash my pool area. Not good. The nozzle that I have ( paid $3 for ) has more power than this one.
: ( It is going back!

I saw the commercial and thought it would be good to pressure wash my deck. Only to find out that the one I had previously has more pressure than this product.

When I reviewed the shipping cost, I closed out the site. Yet 2 days later, I get a phone call asking how was I pleased with the order! I had not even confirmed the order, I called them up and was told that after 16 minutes orders went through automatic. You got to be kidding rite. Now here's the kicker, they were told to cancel my order, but guess what. They had charged me for two! I am now getting a lawyer to handle this case for me. Folks, that company is a rip off!

Pressure is not as advertised. I have bought better and cheaper products at local hardware stores. A lot to pay for a handle!

As with 99.9% "as seen on TV" scams, this is a waste of $$$.
Common sense always wins (if you possess common sense (which just isn't so "common" these days).
It costs $200k + to make a commercial, plus another $50 - $100 K each time it is shown. If the item was as good as advertised, big box stores would be begging to sign a contract to exclusively sell the product.
This item is not worth $5.00. Save your money
P. S. I own and operate Arizona's largest commercial and industrial Pressure Washing company. So I know a little bit about water and water pressure.

Don't buy into this. Lets get real first off; firehose's require hydrant pressure much more than house pressure so it won't be any more than your normal sprayer duh! Next they don't show how far away the pebbles and the lightweight blocks are in the commercial any idiot knows this can be done with a regular sprayer. My normal sprayer at home does all that ! They are B.S.ing you with fast talk and crumie commercials. Ya go ahead and buy it. You will see your $4.00 sprayer does the same thing. It will cost you too much to return it. You lose either way, trust me its BS.

I purchased this item along with the Grass Shot. This item worked but not as advertised. I can't believe so many things sold on as seen on TV are DUDS. We brought the pocket hose last year and it works great, so all I can say is BUYER BEWARE! But I am done with As seen on TV. GOOD LUCK.
