Before using this machine for the first time, you must get it ready. It appears as if the body comes already put together, and the only things you'll need to do are unfold each individual part and add resistance bands if you want them. If you decide to add resistance bands, consult your instruction manual to determine exactly where to put them to get the type of workout you want.
After your machine is set up, you must mount it by grabbing each of the two long arm handles with one hand and placing one foot in each foot compartment. Following that, you can begin to move your legs and arms back and forth, from side to side or even in circles. If you get bored with repeating the same movements over and over, you can look in the included Exercise Guide for more specific exercises.
When you're done your workout, remove any resistance bands you added and fold your Maxi Glider 360 back up. Once it's folded, it can be stored against a wall, in a closet, under a piece of furniture or virtually anywhere else you have space for it in your home. The resistance bands won't take up a lot of space, either.
While some fitness machines only work one muscle or one area of the body, this one has been designed to work every muscle in the body. Once you get on, it'll activate muscles you may not even know you had, and after a few weeks of using the machine, you'll be looking more toned and sculpted everywhere.
As the Maxi Glider 360 is a low-impact machine, it's suitable for people of a wide variety of ages, genders and fitness levels. You can set your own pace, and to set your own level of difficulty, you can choose between four levels of resistance by moving four different resistance bands in two different directions. There's also an option to use no resistance at all during a workout.
Each of these machines is made from gym-quality steel, so it's unlikely that yours will break down on you before you've used it for at least several years. The body will also remain stationary as you use it, while just the handles and the footholds move, so it'll be unlikely to ever fall over.
This fitness machine contains a digital tracker that'll tell you how long you've been working out, how fast you're going and how many calories you've burned. Plus, if you're holding onto the arm handles, it'll tell you what your heart rate is at each moment, so you'll be able to tell if it's in a healthy zone.
If you get bored while you work out, or have an important task to complete on your tablet, you'll be able to use that tablet as you exercise on your Maxi Glider 360. Just plop it on the attached tablet stand, and temporarily remove one or both hands from the machine's arm handles when you want to operate it. This tablet stand will prop your phone or a book up in front of you, too, if need be.
Those users who are new to fitness and are too embarrassed to go to a gym, along with those individuals who just don't have time, will certainly appreciate the Maxi Glider 360. You'll be able to use it within any room of your home, provided there's enough space, and you might even choose to use it outside on a nice day. Furthermore, if you've got a roomy car, you can bring it along with you to a cottage or hotel.
Aside from enabling you to get stronger and burn calories, one of these machines will also enhance your level of flexibility. It'll move you in directions your body naturally goes, but just with a bit more intensity than usual, so a bit more flexibility will come as a natural result.
Anytime you're moving, your body is burning calories, and in general, the quicker you move, the more calories you'll burn in a given period of time. Therefore, you'll always be burning some amount of calories while using your Maxi Glider 360, as you'll always be in motion. You can choose whether to move quickly or slowly, but any amount of calories burned will contribute to your weight loss goals. If you don't burn enough some days to result in weight loss, you'll probably burn at least enough to avoid weight gain.
With each Maxi Glider 360, to help you get started on your fitness journey and keep you from getting bored with the machine, you'll receive two books and two DVDs. The books include a Nutrition Guide and Exercise Guide, and the DVDs focus on different exercises you can do. The first one concentrates on cardio in general, while the second will help you blast away fat on your bottom if that's a goal of yours.
As there's no extension cord included with these machines, but they all have digital features, it can be assumed that you'll need batteries to operate yours. That means you'll need to make sure you always have the correct batteries on hand, or you won't be able to use your machine at full capacity.
The Maxi Glider 360 has no seat, so there's no option to sit while you're working out on it. Consequently, someone who is temporarily or permanently disabled to the point that they can't stand won't be able to use one of these machines at all. Even people who are able to stand might enjoy the opportunity to sit on the machine, especially if they're tired or sick and lack motivation on a particular day.
When using this fitness machine, you should try to keep moving both your legs and your arms for as long as you can. However, if you get extremely fatigued, you won't have to get off the machine right away. Instead, you can drop your arms from the moving handles to the stationary ones, and just move your legs until you're a bit more rested.
