  • Personal Workout Timer
  • The Personal workout timer lets you set a timer, allowing you to monitor how long you have been working out. It will also count your calories, letting you see how much progress you are making during your session. In order to get an accurate reading, you will need to input your personal information first, such as your weight and height.

  • Designed for All Body Types
  • Whether you are male or female, short, tall, overweight, or slender – the Maxi Climber is adjustable for your body type. It is designed to be a versatile and accommodating machine that can hold various weights and adjust to different heights.

  • Elliptical Machine
  • Instead of using the Maxi Climber for a total body workout, you can try an elliptical machine. This device is easy on the joints, as there is no impact on them. Additionally, elliptical machines utilize your arms and legs simultaneously, giving you a full workout. If you do use this machine every day, make sure to vary the resistance levels to avoid a bodily plateau.

  • Personal Trainer
  • Instead of working out on your own, you can hire a professional instead. Though this can be a costly investment, it is a long-term investment that will make your body look amazing while keeping you healthy in the process. Personal trainers understand health, body types and various workouts that will keep you in great shape.

  • Easy on the Joints
  • Since this machine does not require impact of any kind, it is very easy on the joints. This means you will not have to worry about joint injuries. If you have had previous joint injuries that do not allow you to do high impact exercises, Maxi Climber is a great alternative.

  • Compact Folding Design
  • This machine folds neatly into a compact size, allowing you to store it without needing much space. Plus, since you can store this machine, it gives you more room in your living space that you do not have to dedicate to exercise equipment. Simply take the machine out when you are ready to work out, complete your exercising session and put the machine away when you are done.

  • One Type of Exercise
  • Every person’s body will plateau at some point if you continue to do the same exercises repeatedly. The Maxi Climber does not allow you to have a varied workout plan, it only lets you change the intensity of the same workout. To shock your muscles and keep them healthy, you will need to incorporate other exercises into your lifestyle.

  • Monotonous
  • Not everyone will enjoy the monotony of this machine’s workout. Like a treadmill or elliptical machine, you will need to keep yourself motivated while you are on these machines in order to get the full benefit of working out on them.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Use as an Addition
  2. Use the Maxi Climber as an addition to a more encompassing workout that includes various other kinds of sessions. Additionally, you can use it as a starter to get you into exercising. Once your body becomes accustomed to this machine, vary up your workout routine.

  3. Play Music
  4. To make your workout sessions go by faster, play music via headphone or on your stereo/tv.

  1. Assembly Required

One complaint about Maxi Climber is the amount of assembly required when it arrives at your doorstep. Maxi Climber is delivered to you in a series of parts consisting of the main body, handlebars, fixed handles and two different sized u bars for the base. You are also provided with a wrench, screws, nuts, and washers. There is an instruction pamphlet on how to complete the assembly and videos can easily be accessed online.

How to Assemble Maxi Climber

  1. Attach Large Base Bar

The first step is to remove the nuts, washers, and screws from the main body. Once this is done you can put the large U bar base in place in the front and insert the screws. You will then have to tighten the washers and the nuts.

  2. Attach Small Base Bar

The second step is to attach the small U bar base at the back of your Maxi Climber. All you have to do is repeat the steps you completed in step 1.

  3. Support Bar

Now that both your front and back base are installed your Maxi Climber is secure and can stand up. The next step it to remove the safety pin and pull down the back support bar. You will lower the arm until it is parallel to the floor. The safety pin then secures the support bar to the back.

  4. Cable

You are now going to set up your cables so they glide when your foot is on the footrest. Remove the nut from the back of the main body where the cable will attach. Insert the round tip of the cable through the hole and tighten the nut.

  5. Handle Bars

The next step is to put the handlebars in place. There will be stickers on both of the bars and the main body indicating which is the left and which is the right bar. Adjust them to your preferred height.

  6. Fixed Handles

The final step is to attach the fixed handles at the back on the main handlebars. They easily clip into place.

How it's Different from Competitors

Maxi Climber is different from its competitors because it offers a full body workout. It targets your entire body because it works both your upper and lower body at the same time. This is made possible by creating a combination of long and short strides that keep your body challenged. The fact that both your upper and lower body are being challenged allows you to burn two times more calories than when you are doing other cardio exercises. This also creates a long lasting after burn which keeps your body burning calories for up to 24 hours after your workout.

Calorie Step Counter

Maxi Climber also has a calorie step counter. This digital counter helps you track your workouts, your training times and the number of calories you burned. This allows you to track your progress and encourages you to challenge yourself by constantly setting new goals. Keeping a record of your progress is important because it keeps you motivated.

Good Workout, but Machine is Weak

I used this machine for only 3 months. The cable wire started to go bad quite quickly. It got so bad I could barely get the pedals to work. It gives a good workout for sure, but the machine itself is poorly made. I'm small person and only weigh 125. So my weight wasn't the problem. I believe when it's too good to be true, it probably is. The price was affordable for sure, but now I believe, " you get what you pay for". I was bummed for sure since it does really give you a good workout, but when it's poorly made, it's only a matter of time til it busts.

Never Received my Refund

I wanted the Maxi Climber, however after My injury and lack of mobility I didn't know the stepping would be to hard for me, I returned the Maxi Climber, each time I was given a 3 to 5 Day excuse. It's now been over a Month and I have not been refunded. They were quick to take money just not quick to return your money.

My Maxi Climber Experience

I just started using the maxiclimber. This machine is easy to use. You really work up a sweat in just 5 minutes or less. I try to go beyond 5 minutes but don't because I get tired. I Decided that to use it for 5 minutes, 3 to 4 times a day or whenever I workout. I will let you all know about my results in a few weeks.

Love It!

I am basically in good shape except my core needs reducing. I got the climber and got serious with it the past two weeks. I alternate 2 to 3 minutes with light weights and an ab roller. I have lost 3 inches on my waist very quickly. Very pleased with this product!

You lost 3 inches in 2 weeks? From your description it seems that you do three workouts: the Maxi, light weights and an ab roller. I have a Maxi, but have not noticed any results.

Love It!

I had to cancel my gym membership for financial reasons. I wanted something to use in my home & space was an issue. The Maxi Climber was the perfect choice. I do try to vary my workouts by running when the weather is nice. I am loving this machine for late nights or other times when running outdoors isn't an option.

I want to know if anyone has used it. Don't tell me about your financial difficulties or you sent it back and didn't use it. Have you used it and how does it feel when using it. Not interested if it helped you lose weight. I need to strengthen my legs.

Posted: 26 Jan 2018

I've had and used mine for 22 months now. Started at 248# now down to 205# & keeping it off. I use maxi-climber 3 to 4 times a week for 40 to 60 minutes. I wore the machine out in a year but had purchased extended warranty and I got a brand new machine in just days. I alternate with push-ups, lunges, ab-wheel and bicycling. I use blue-tooth pandora with headphones while i'm climbing, I love this machine! And it does tone the whole body, even the core.

Posted: 16 Jun 2018

If I eat a big lunch before using it, it works ok. If I eat a very light lunch, I do sometimes get a case of the "shakies" or "jitters" as some call it near the end of my workout, and I have never gotten that feeling from any other machine or exercise routine. I do the recommended slow motion moves for the extended period, as the manual recommended, and I do it for 30 minutes. Maybe that is too long.

A Totally Bogus Company

People are idiots, believing BS advertising from companies like this ( including BoFlex ). If you want to lose weight, get off your butts and do it. You don't need to buy some POS mechanical device to lose weight. Walk instead of watching TV and pigging out. WTF people. Don't waste your money on this kind of crap. Buy yourself some walking shoes and get off your backsides and exercise without paying they scammers squat.

I have used this style of machine and can say its not fun, but very effective and it does not take long for a awesome workout. Choose how hard you want to go at it

Posted: 25 Feb 2017

So you are an idiot for buying it? Effective machine works fine for fasted cardio in the morning. Thanks for the great advice though. FYI get off your fat ass and stop spamming reviews give us a valid reason why you don't like it.

Posted: 27 May 2017

If walking really worked, then this country would not have an obesity problem. Machines work. I have three of them and guarantee you that my six pack is better than your beer belly. At 58, I am more fit than you will ever be in this lifetime. It is NOT about laziness because the level of activity over the past 50 years is the same. It is called engineered food. That is the real problem. Food that makes you fat. I do not eat it. Exercise has absolutely nothing to do with obesity because Jesus was obviously NOT fat and never went to a gym.

I don't think that most people want to exercise. I think that those of us who do, do it for other reasons, such as health, or appearance. I have never heard anyone say: "oh, I just love to exercise", or "i can't wait to get to my exercise". I've heard: "i don't have time", "it take to long", "it hurts", "i'm to tired after work", "it's hard to stay motivated", etc! I don't like to exercise, but I do for my health and appearance, as I mentioned already. There are plenty of TV shows that I can be watching or tons of other things that I can be doing. But I figure that 45 minutes to an hour is not that much time to invest. I think that to many of us spend to much time doing unimportant things, but little or no time doing what we should. A lot of people can find an hour to exercise and they don't need any fancy, expensive machines either. Think about this: if a person can stay on a computer or play video games or watch television for 4 hours, a day, then how come that person can't exercise?!

Terrible Company

I order this a month ago. I received an email telling me that my credit card was Declined. I called back right away. Told them to re-run my credit card because it had plenty of money on it. They said it was again Declined. I asked to cancel my order because after reading their reviews many customers complained about their customer service. A month later I received the machine after I had purchased a Bowflex. I call back and told them I would cheap it back because I have asked to have my order cancelled a month ago. They said okay. But you have to pay the shipping cost. I said no I wont. You recorded my call and I asked to cancel this order. I am not paying for the shipping. They said that they do not have access to the recording. I filed a complaint with my credit card. Do Not buy this product. Its not worth the money. It will also kill your knees. The material also looks cheap and the machine is not stable.

You claim you didn't want the machine and were shipping it back because you bought something else. Yet state that it will kill our knees and isn't stable. How would you know this if you didn't use it. Sounds to me like your lying about something!

I visited their website to order the "risk-free" trial ( $19.95 + $29.95 S&H = $49.90 ). When I provided my credit card number to pay for the $49.90, I immediately received an email with a receipt thanking me for the payment of $249.75! They have no "customer service link" as they say on commercials, and calling their 800 number can be very frustrating. Very suspicious company and I wouldn't be surprised to know that all "positive" reviews are by people they hire to do so (or they themselves providing it).
