To begin using one of these knife sets, you'll first need to select the most appropriate knife to slice up whatever food item you need to cut. The serrated bread knife will work best on a loaf of bread or a bagel, while the paring knife will typically be the most suitable choice for slicing up small fruits and vegetables. There's even a chef's knife with strategically placed holes for those times when you want to cut something thick without creating a lot of friction. The other three choices include a Santoku knife, a razor-sharp slicer, and a utility blade.
Once you've picked an appropriate knife, use it to cut up the food item of your choice. Aside from using it to cut food, you can also use the utility blade to cut other items commonly found around the home, such as cardboard. You'll likely be able to chop up whatever needs to be cut with a great deal of speed and efficiency, due to each knife's sharpness and the control that its easy-grip handle will give you.
When you're done using one of your Magma Steel Knives, you can place it in your dishwasher for cleaning, if you happen to have one of those. If you don't have a dishwasher, it's best to wash your knife with both soap and water, keeping a cloth over your fingers at all times in order to avoid direct contact with the blade. You might get away with just rinsing your knife if you've used it to cut fruits or veggies, but you should always use soap to remove residue if you've cut any meat or dairy products.
The blade of each Magma Steel knife is coated with granite, and since granite is one of the hardest substances found on our planet, that's the main reason why each knife is so sharp. No matter how frequently you use any one of the knives in your set, you probably won't ever have to sharpen its blade during its lifetime. It'll likely cut things just as quickly and efficiently when it's seven years old as it did when you used it for the first time.
Besides being powerful, sharp and hard, the blade of each of these knives has a non-stick surface. Instead of stubbornly clinging onto a particular blade, even the gooiest foods (like melted cheese or marshmallows) will slide right off when you rinse these knives. That means you won't have to put your fingers at risk by using them to pick stuck-on bits of food off of any of the blades. The non-stick surface of each blade will also help it slide through a thick, gooey food item, such as a cake, without getting stuck halfway.
All Magma Steel Knives have rubberized handles, which means that they won't slip easily out of a user's hand like a knife with a shiny plastic or metal handle could. Furthermore, the handle of each knife is also an ideal size for the average human hand to hold without discomfort. In tandem, the size and texture of these knives' handles will give even inexperienced users an optimum level of precision and control as they slice up food.
A set of Magma Steel Knives is a fantastic thing to have around if you're going to be preparing a large meal that involves multiple dishes. Your old paring knife, bread knife or steak knife may only be able to cut certain things, but that won't be the case with one of these knife sets. No matter what food item needs to be cut, it's more than likely that at least one of your six Magma knives will be able to do the job.
Sometimes, you may not want to wait for frozen items to unthaw completely before you start slicing them up with a knife, but that won't be a problem once you've got some Magma Steel Knives. Any of them should be able to slice through a frozen food item of any size, from a thick, icy piece of meat to a partially thawed dessert that needs to be cut into pieces.
While the other five knives in your set should only be used to cut fresh or frozen food, the utility blade can be safely used to cut a variety of other things. Although you shouldn't use it to cut metal or wood, you'll be able to safely use it to cut softer household items such as cardboard, thin plastic, rubber, and leather. As a result, you may find it useful outside the kitchen if you do a lot of crafting or undertake a fair amount of home improvement projects.
There is a Magma Steel Knives holder that all six knives will fit into, side by side, but the holder isn't included with each set of knives. If you'd like one, you'll need to obtain it separately. Having a holder isn't absolutely necessary, but without one, you'll need to find another safe place to store the knives—one in which people's fingers will be unlikely to bump up against their ultra-sharp blades.
Since they're so sharp, you can consider the Magma Steel Knives unsafe for children who haven't yet reached their teenage years. School-aged children may be able to use duller knives without cutting themselves, but they may not have the hand-eye coordination they need to use one of these incredibly sharp knives without doing so. Therefore, if you mainly use a set of these knives to prepare meals for your household, any children under your care may feel left out of the preparation process.
No matter where you grip the handle of one of these knives, it'll give you a great deal of control over the angle of your blade and the direction it's headed in. However, if you slide your hand up the handle as far as it can go, without touching the blade, you'll gain even more control than you'd have otherwise. If you position your hand near the bottom of the handle instead, you'll still be able to make effective cuts, but you may sacrifice some speed and power.

I ordered the knives and the holder in Sept. It is now Oct. 22nd and I would like to know where my order is! Not even an email that they have been shipped. If you can't get these knives to me by the end of this month, then I would like an immediate refund! K. Walz.
